Derek: New and Improved!!! (My best yet!!)

I just want to intervene and say that I don't feel that anyone was being rude to him. Maybe its the fact we can't convey emotion in our voice.

I understand he's young, but we're not insulting his work. He has improved, and those of us who were giving advice were not in anyway trying to be condescending.

I mean, Derek Fayte, when a teacher is trying to help you improve at school -- And keeps trying, you know not to let it get you down, right? When people critique my work (Albeit I am 21), I take it in stride. What happens is when you think about the critiques, when you make more art -- you'll have less and less.

But all I have to say, is keep it up. It's good to see a younger generation dedicating themselves to things like art.

And I'm 12. I would be one of those "younger viewers". I happen to like this style, and I don't intend to change it anytime soon. Eyes are like that in this particular style. The head is that big. It's according to style, it's not supposed to be completely realistic. Think of it this way: Normal males don't have gigantic bulging muscles, and normal females don't have that kind of figure either. Rant over.

And I think this whole problem kinda' happened with just miscommunication. Actually, it -did- seem that Derek and Battle just got in a fight, trying to prove eachother wrong about the drawing and stuff. It doesn't matter though, its the internet, so lets just leave it.

BAS is kinda right. I don't mind critiquing, but it seemed like it was getting to insults to my style, to the way I drew it, and everything. A few helpful critiques I don't mind, but... Y'know. Anyway, let's just leave it, like BAS said.
