It needs more fixing, but the bones are solid. (Although sentences like this: "One day as Mikel neared the age for his Rite of Passage, when a young man begins the path to becoming a true warrior," cause me cognitive dissonance because it's a dangling phrase.)

I'd like to see the soulmate play a bigger role in tempering his wrath to drive that point home and you can't technically banish yourself, but overall it's pretty good. It does conflict with established mythology, but in cases like these I just assume that it takes place in an alternate universe where the story turns out differently.

When beginning this project I did a little reading up on the Norse pantheon. In the actually story, Thor's final battle was against the Midgard Serpent. He strikes the killing blow, walks nine steps and falls over dead. Since TA had to be the one to kill Thor, I figured I could mess with the history some more.

I see what you were talking about in regards that particular sentence. It seems my brain went AWOL at that point and broke up one coherent sentence into 2 incomplete senteneces.

I hate to admit it but I finally read this. I'm not much of a reader but after writing my own history for my new hero I was in a reading mood. This was such a great story!! Very sad but yet inspiring....I hope that mine could be as good. Great job Buckeye and gratz TA on such an awesome story.

I really like how Buckeye wrote it out, It's exactly what I have been trying to do for 2 years and he did it in two days lol.

Thor's Assassin - elec/elec/elec blaster - protector of earth

thors assassin - Storm/elec/elec defender - advancement of TA's powers

Assassin Of Thor - Ninja/dark/elec Mastermind - The form TA takes as a penance for killing his master and his evil form.

Lord Of Valhalla - elec/elec/elec Brute - The form TA takes when he returns to Valhalla to take the throne

Very cool to see the character/powerset evolution of the infamous TA! The story being told in legend form is nice, too.
