Oh, wise art community...
Google up MSN paint.net or GIMP... much better, and for free
I suggest using GIMP unless you can get a pirated copy of Photoshop somehow.

not sure on the capabilities on Picture It...so might be best to get GIMP less you can rustle up the cash for photoshop.~

Speaking of GIMP does anyone know of a good "idiots guide to gimp" site? I am trying to figure out how to use the layers function. (i.e. bounce back and forth between them and how to know which one I'm on etc) I've googled but the results are mind boggling. Any help would be appreciated!
Gimp is confusing as heck. I would HIGHLY recommend not using it. If you're going for free stuff, I'd get Open Canvas along with Inkscape. I haven't actually used Inkscape yet but I've heard alot of good things about it. OpenCanvas is awesome, hands down.

I've never used gimp but I did totally forget about OpenCanvas which is pretty easy to use. I think it is free too...ok it has a 1 month trial period but seems to work when that has expired. Once the trial expires you can't save anything as I just tested on a very old install.

Here are some tutorial sites that have gimp stuff

This one will teach you about making layers. It seems that gimp is set up similar to photoshop but many programs are using that layout, kind of a standard now.

Oh, wise art cummunity I do not own Adobe Photoshop... Instead I own Picture It
I was wondering if anyone else uses this to color(as rarely as I color), or am I the only one?
Also: Does Photoshop have system requirements? Or will it work on my pathedic PC?
