Felt like posting some work...

While it may not be stuff like drawings, I DID used to write at one point. May not be the stories and crap, but I've gotten some comments, and have been wondering if I should start up again:

Yeah, I know. The titles sound corny. >_>;;

Basically, I like trying to get a background on my wording, but since I... you know... SUCK at drawing and stuff, I'm left completely dependent on others for a visual look.

So, how does it look?

This is what I'm gonna have on my Epitaph:


"Remember friend as you pass by, as you are now so once was I, as I am now you too will someday be, so prepare for death and follow me!"

Heh. I'll admit though, I was feeling very... bitter when I wrote this stuff. >_>;;

Still, haven't wrote anything in AGES. Maybe I should get back on it or something.

It's from Thomas Gray's "Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard". Pony up the 1000 points.

Well it's very hard to see the work without all the words written on it. But yeah it's alright :P A little long and hard to read though

The reason to do or not do creative works boils down to one word:

Passion

If you are passionate and it drives you opinion will not stop you from doing, nor encourage you to pursue it more. You must want it for you.

If you want it--then you should do it again and keep doing it. It will live or die by your passion for it.

I like it...but not much I dont like....
...similar to DDgryph, I would say that if you like to write then write. the key is to write from the heart, write that which inspires ya...much like drawing. if you enjoy what you come up with then the rest of the world be damned. ...at least that basically the approach I take, but then I do what I do for myself versus pleasing the other lemming.


in regards to the background with the text itself? to be honest never been a fan of doing it. reason...they fight for control. personally, I usually go for the boarder art...very very rarely will I have any sort of art behind my words. on the few occasions where I have done it I fade the art way out so the words can be clearly seen. .....just a thought on the look, take from it what ya will...end story though....do you like it? does it work for you...if so...I can go find a lake for ya and jump in.
