I agree. You have a great dream here and I hope it comes to fruition.

I'm thinking of doing my first issue next year and am finding even the thought of it intimidating.

I just want to warn you about music - some people don't mind music on websites, other people hate it. Some people have broadband that can handle the extra load, other people are stuck on 56k. Keep all audiences in mind when making your website, you don't want to alienate anyone from it, y'know?


Other than that, I have no real advice or suggestions I can offer to you; instead, I will just wish you the best of luck. Be sure to share when you get that first issue done.

Whoa. That ideactionmedia thing - I can't believe that's for real! It's terrible! I had to send it to some coworkers.

Thanks for the thoughts on the website. I don't want to alienate anyone with excessive fluff. I promise to make it classy- although everyone has a different idea of what classy is. I mean, I thought seizurerobots robots was pretty top notch once I stopped vomiting.

I guess I could do some of the more elaborate stuff through links off the main page. Music could be an optional thing. I'm still trying to make original music happen but I haven't heard back from the musicians I know. I may ditch the whole music idea. I dunno. I'll be putting a great deal of thought into the site. It's an important part of the whole package.

I got a super-super brief mention in a local paper from 24 hour comic book day. That was kind of neat.

Again, thanks for the replies everyone.

You know, just to throw this out there - I had a whole mess of crepes this morning. They're just like pancakes, maybe even better.
