Role-play Question - OOC

I'm in a bit of a quandry over a character I recently created. She's a natural scrapper and I'm not sure how to handle the travel power, so I thought I'd see what some other people had to say.

The concept is an agile fighter who gets around via a grapple line and a cape/glider. My question is; do I use Fly or Super Jump? Fly more closely imitates the act of gliding, but Super Jump has the nice "open arms" pose for gliding that Fly lacks. I'm not really interested in which power is better for in-game travel, just which one best fits the concept.

So, what do you think?

Well, to me, it seems Superjump makes the most sense. For instance, it could look like she is using a hook to get to a high place, and then proceeds to glide downward. Granted, the 'gliding' is rather fast, but still...

Super Jump
why?
Not only does it fit the 'gliding' aspect better (in the words of Woody from Toy Story, gliding isn't flying, it's 'Falling with Style') but it's actually the game's superior travel power anyway. The only disadvantage is you can't go as high as a flyer or teleporter. But that's what temp powers are for.

Yeah, I'm going with Prodiguy here. SJ just seems more 'grappling hook/glide' while fly is just....I guess it would work if you only used fly from a high place.

Bah, so says you. If you know how to perform the 'window-climb', it is easy to get to the top of even the tallest skyscraper in Steel Canyon.

I have had the same question and I went go with Superjump.

You could also go with combat jumping with extra slots and hurdle. That might give you a jump that has a more natural limit so you aren't feeling like the hulk everytime you jump around.

With the upcomming radio missions for CoH and the GvE pack you might be able to get by with jump packs and jet packs and not even get a movement power (except maybe the stuff in Fitness).
