"Playin' what?" Shiro asked with a small shrug of his shoulder, as the feather tickled.

Burning looked at his sandwich, and placed a hand on it.
His hand glowed red, and when he took it away, the bread was a toasted brown.
He grinned and gleefully tore through it, finishing faster than most of the others.
He leapt down and followed the others as Danica picked up her own.
She kept moving to take a bite, but it was too big.
She frowned and placed it on the table, leaning on her elbow, when she got an idea.
She quickly chopped the sandwich, and soon had a four, crustless squares.
She held them in her arm, eating as she walked.
Blightlord's eyes narrowed. He would not be ignored!
He followed Archlich, and hovered up to eye-level with him.
"I demand the return of my items!"

Mags looked at Jake and grinned.
"Aye! I be part o' th' phouka clan, an' part o' th' Dark Court Sidhe."
She looked down at Shiro, and enlarged the feather, poking his ear with it again.
"I unno... 'm playin wi' a feather!"

"Hmm, activities," Kathode heard Moonscribe murmur. "Wonder if dey be more fun in rain." His hands were twitching ominously already.
"No!" She shouted. "No more water! I've gotten wet enough today already!"
Essex went into the closet in the front room, and began pulling at a huge trunk, slowly pulling it into the living room.
"All right, kids..." she said, moving around behind it and beginning to undo the locks.
"Oh, all right!" Rosalind suddenly squealed in glee. "The costume trunk!"
"That's right." Essex said, opening it to reveal a myriad of different costume elements - hats, cowls, toy accessories (none of them dangerous, of course) jackets, etc, etc.
"...So, kids. Here's the activity of the day. I want to know what you all want to be when you grow up. Try to find a costume that will fit, and then tell everyone." she said with a smile.
"And remember to share! I only have so many costumes." She added with a chuckle.

Hal sighed. "I not want to grow up. Grownups all sad. I sad now." He sat mournfully on the ground.
Schizo dove into the pile and pulled out a black leather jacket. He disappeared under it and mimed shooting everyone else with a machine gun. "Yay! I terrorist!"
Moonscribe, however, evidently could not resist. A dark cloud formed overhead as he began to type. A trickle of rain came down. . .
Experiment chuckled, looking at how he was dressed. He poked his own right arm, a plastic panel bending inward.
"Well... I guess I win!"
Jake nodded with a smirk "cool, nice to see more fae in this joint."
He then idley wandered over to the trunk to pull out a dark suit and sunglasses and slug a plastic katana over his shoulder. "Yakuza boss!"

Magda giggled at Jake and flitted over to kiss him on the nose, emitting a scent of lavendar and jasmine, then flitted over to look in the trunk. She frowned, and dropped o the lid of the trunk, closing her eyes. A bright green glow surrounded her as she grew taller. She stopped at about three feet tall, and opened her eyes smiling, her tail and ears twitching as if she were a very pleased kitten.
Looking through the trunk, she frowned again, and leapt lightly off of it.
"Nuffin'll fit wi' me wings!" she pouted. She closed her eyes once more, and began to shimmer, her clothing turning white and melding into a floor-length white robe. She peeked out from under the overly large hood.
"I be a p..peestess o' th' Mo'er Goddess, Danu!"

Shiro shuffled through the trunk looking for stuff. He eventually pulled out a plastic pool cue and a pack of old maid playing cards. He stood there proud, chuckling, "Gonna be the best damn gambler and street punk ever."
Jake smiled and pulled out a pack of cady cigarettes, putting one in his mouth with a grin. "Yakuza totally beats gamblers, we own all the casinos!"

Sienna smiled at Magda, and floated left on her fairy wings that left a trail of sparkles. Sienna intercepted the ball with a volleyball style maneuver then sent it back to Magda with a small pulse of her repel shield.
They went back and forth several times until they heard Essex shout out activities. The ball bounced off Siennas head as she thought Activities! Generally to human children that meant games or crafts but to fairy children and sometimes the adults too it meant mischief and pranks.
Sienna flew to the front closet, once the sparkles stopped floating around her head from the ball strike. She shrank down in size to be just a pinpoint of light and zipped under the closet door to examine the contents of the closet.
Large trunk boring :P
Up on the top shelf there (inexplicably) was a bowling ball.
'This could be fun. Sienna grew slightly larger and started rolling the bowling ball forward on the shelf as Essex grabbed the large trunk.
The trunk, awww Sienna stopped pushing the bowling ball forward and it rolled back into its place. As Essex announced "The costume trunk!"
Whats a costume trunk??? Sienna listened to Essexs instructions and was still confused.
She already knew what she was going to be when she grew up. A fairy princess.
When Schizo emerged and announced himself a terrorist, Sienna as a small pin point of light again flew over and made very authentic, very load machine gun sounds as he mimed spraying the room.

Jake smiled at Sienna as she fluttered in, eating his candy smoke and putting another in his mouth. "Alright, more fae, I think I can plan some nice mischif with two others."

"AHHHH!" Hal screamed as Sienna began making sound effects, and his Phantasm attempted to blast Schizo with rays of light. However, the fledgling illusion's attack had an effect closer to shining a large flashlight in Schizo's eyes.
"Hey!" Schizo yelled, tossing a burr at Hal. "Stop dat!"
Sienna zipped over to the phantasm, and made the noise of a heavy lasers firing for the flashlike beam.

Feliks dived in the trunk, throwing unwanted costumes out onto the floor. He emerged holding a generals hat and a military jacket. Quickly putting the two items on, he struck a dramatic pose.
"Im going to be a revolutionary!"
He snatched a small mirror from the trunk and opened it, putting it between Hal and Schizo. With some trouble Feliks redirected the light and shined it back at Hal.
"Ha! Where is your laser now!?"
"AAAAAHH!!" Kathode ran from the room as the light rain began to fall, with little bursts of electricty coming from her body. "Me not grounded!"
Meanwhile, Cobalt was digging through the costume trunk and found something. She put on a pirate hat and then ran over to Naga, who was sitting on the floor nearby, and plopped a similar hat down on her head. Thrusting a plastic sword into Naga's hand and brandishing a toy flintlock pistol in her own, she announced "We're pirates! YARRR!"
Naga curiously examined the sword in her hands.
Sienna flitted over to Feliks, growing to be about four inches tall she polished the metals on his military jacket. They sparkled with fairy dust for a few moments and she floated off looking at them proudly and smiling.
Seeing that Colbalt had joined the fun Sienna shrank back down and flew up the barrel of Colbalt's flintlock pistol. Making the appropriate sound for that and shooting out fairy sparkles from the barrel when even Colbalt made the fireing motion.

Suddenly another knock came to the door, the same two guards standing at the sides of a new kid. This one was a small girl with puppy ears and a big grin.
"If you're takin the deer brat take his lil sidekick too, we faxed her info over, carful, she's a biter."
The girl then pulled a large squirt-rifle from her back and fired at the guards with a giggle.
"yea....and that too." With that the guards ran off, leaving the girl standing in the door with a grin holding her squirtgun.

Still laughing maniacally from his mirror success, he hardly noticed Sienna at first. Then he slowly got quieter, and lowered the mirror as the little fairy got to work. Finally, he stopped entirely, simply staring down at his jacket.
"Ermm...thanks! I guess..."
Totally forgetting his mirror plan, Feliks stood there with a blank face.
While Ani showed little interest in the costume trunk, her toys dived in head long.
"Giddiyap!" Ruby exclaimed, emerging with a cowboy hat and a rope slung over his shoulder.
Sapphire and Emerald took a bit longer but managed to climb out of the trunk in a respectible mock-up of Knives of Artemis mercenaries.
Pearl and Onyx looked odd, one in a tophat and cane, the other in a white vail. "..." Was their comment under Ani's raised eyebrow.
"Yay!" Diamond jumped out, brandishing her water cannons. One would absently wonder how she had managed to get the bright yellow bikini on, or how her red wig stayed on her head. After all, this version of Kei of the Dirty Pair didn't even have hands.

She tied it over her red one, and sat back down.
