Advice on DeviantArt

Hi,
Today I registered over on DeviantArt. Went through registration, got the emailed link to activate my account. I used the link and I was taken to a welcome page. Two members sent welcome messages.

The problem is that, if I try to do anything I'm redirected to the page where you tell it to send the authorization link to your email address. Hitting it, then going to my email and following the link that was sent just repeats the process. Basically I'm stuck in a registration loop.

Anyone else had this problem and/or have a fix?

Huh, that's weeeeird. Did you try closing out the browser and re-opening to dA? Version 5 just hit and there are lots of bugs. If you keep having it, I could post this in the help forum and see what anyone has to say over there!

That's weird. I've never even heard of that!

Once you're on, though, feel free to swing by my Deviant account and say hi!

Yeah, I have not seen that one before. Sometimes with DA, give it a day andthings clear up.

Yeah it seems to do weird things at times.

We need a 'deviant artists' thread to collect our info.

You are not alone.
I had the same thing happen to me. I registered like a month ago, and I went through the verification, and it said I was a deviant. Then I tried to read my messages or add artwork, and I'd get the screen asking for verification again.

I had to send several emails to support, and finally tonight the same thing I had been trying for a month finally worked, and I got to submit some art.

Good idea. Not just for 'deviant artists' but 'deviant lurkers' like myself. I've seen a few peeps from here over in deviantArt and added them to faves.

And the cool thing is I even found pencillers, inkers and colourer's from good old New Zealand and Australia.
