I guess I should have asked what powers you have, so excuse the artistic license with the depiction... Had a lot of fun doing this one, used a Gwen Stefani pose for inspiration, and it just flowed from there.

Hope you like it Starchasm.

Thank you Crimson, if I haven't mentioned it before... I love your poses, a big inspiration! Starchasm, I'm glad you like it, that was my only goal... this started out as a sketch, but I liked so many of the lines, that I couldn't wait to color it.

The glow is easy, in Photoshop, you use screen at various degrees from 1-100% ofcourse. The Hair I smudged out at 75%, and have to say it's my favorite part.

Here is the Gwen Stefani image I used for the pose. I didn't trace it, just free handed with a seperate window next to it... as you can see I adjusted certain areas.

Usually I like to do a b&w sketch first, put a layer on multpily above that and paint bucket a "mood" color over the whole thing. And then build up colors and effect over that. If my black lines need emphasis I do it on the original area as to not effect the color.

In this case I did flatten it all about 3/4 way through, because I wanted the face to stand out more. That's up to you... No offense to the others, but I think this has been my favorite one to do, which means I'm warming up for TA!

PS: hey thanks for adding me to your friends list Star!

*takes notes* Right now I only have PSP 8, but I think Painter and Photoshop are coming with the tablet.

*gigglefits* I like how Radey's better built than Gwen XD Personally I like your drawing better than the picture (but I might be a little partial )

If you ever want a chibi I'll push you to the front of the list!!

Definitely your best piece so far... I love it! I think what really made it work so well is the fact that you merged the layers and then worked some more on it. That took it from looking like a colored in drawing to being something closer to a modeled painting, definitely a step in the right direction! I think you need to do that some more

Very Sweet pose and coloring again LJ!! I would say your best so far as well! As someone else said you really have the leather straps down now and she looks awesome in the Gwen pose!!

Very nice job!

Wow, thats great! I really like what you did with her hair / background. I stink with hair, and you made it all flowing and shiney. Very nice!

Though you did catch me off guard when I opened the reference pic at work. "Oh sh-!" *closes window fast*

That looks great LJ! The hair is my favorite too. It looks like its turning into mist as it gets to the ends. Keep up the great work!

You should post that in the tech issues forum.

If you just installed, you need to download a bocketload of patches to be up to date with the game, that's why the updater takes so long.

Do you see a download bar at the bottom of you updater ?
