Very nice!
It looks just like your character in all her superheroic glory in a real life Talos Island!!! I am amazed....I love working in photoshop, but don't have it on my computer currently. (can you believe it, and I'm a graphic design major!)
I just love how clever and resourceful this piece is. It really evokes the senses and shows what kind of untapped potential there is in making our heroes come to life. Way to go _AzA_!!!
This looks really cool. Is it all manipulation, or was some drawing done on the costume pieces?
Excellent job. When I see "photo manipulation" I usually cringe, fearing what's to come...(a photo with one filter applied to it? Often) So I was pleasantly surprised to see the excellent quality and the hard work that went into this one.

Celsia, Nothing is hand drawn in the traditional sense. The body was done in parts, sculpted using the Liquefy tool. There is 46 visible working layers. I used the parts of the chrome car for the pieces of the body. HERE is a working cut with some of the layers turned off (I.E body lighting, belt, katana).

As for your hero, I can give it a go.
I need a few things from you.
A) who do you think your hero looks like in RL (aka someone famous would help. Only need it for the face detail.)
B) Tell me more about your suit. is it tights or metal/crome type like mine? ScreenShots would help. Do you see the head wings as one piece in your minds eye?
C) Anything particular your looking for in the event?
D) Anything else you can tell me about your hero helps. The more I understand how you would see him in RL the better he will come out and be personable.

Thanks, I got your PM, Looking over a few things I think TA is do-able. I have seen enough TA to have ideas. TA is very symmetrical so that helps big time. I think we need to thank George Lucas, Suzuki Power Sports, and probably General Motors. lol that Photo-manip talk for material.

A) Like me
B)Tights, and the mask is just a regular mask, with the "wings" option. But you can make it however you seem fit for me. Screenshots will be posted when I can get to my comp... I'm at work right now
C) You are the artist, so you I trust you
D) SrA Valentine was sent by the USAF to Paragon city to help fellow heroes protect the innocent. He was trained in the the arts of Shaolin Moon by a fellow student in the USAF. Even though he hasn't perfected his abilities, he learns more as he trains and fight for justice. His extensive training grants him the ability to focus making his arms and legs temporarily invulnerable when he attacks, and gives him the ability to fight for long periods of time. Although his body isn't invulnerable to attacks, he can focus to heal his wounds at a faster rate than most humans. When all hope is lost his body releases so much adrenaline, he can fight anything no matter what threat they pose.
That is the way I picture him and also why he has the powers that he does.

That is an absolutely stunning piece of work! My first impression was that it was 3d, but then I noticed it really wasn't. (Okay, it's 3d in the sense you used real materials, but not a 3d model. ) The piece flows together beautifully. My favorite two parts are the pose, and the work you did on the body (armor and shine). I really really dig the final piece. Great stuff!
(I'd love to see my character done that way, but I'm sure you weren't intending for this thread to turn in that direction, so I'll refrain unless told otherwise.)

I would like to dedicate this of sort to Gill Bates, I was inspired to do this after my first stop at his website; looking through all the wonderful toons he did I was taken back at his awesome work.
