The Coliseum (Open RP)
((I'll post later after school, w00t end of year...oh wait...have to work today...dammit...))
(Well, I think this can go in the pile of dead RP's.... next to super villain 101
If noone posts in the next day I'll write my self out.)
((Got out sick.))
Charcold walked out of his room and down the hall to the bar. He figured he'd knock back a view before the fight, not to much though.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Coldfire never slept before he met Becky and he finished up his old business, now that she was gone, it was the same. Coldfire sat up staring at the wall the entire night. Once it was light out, Cold left the room and entered the lobby, from there he went to the room where the gates to the arena were. For several hours he stood there not moving at all. As the Gaurd Captain walked in and saw him he asked, "What the hell are you doing in here?!" "I'm waiting for a fight." Coldfire responded in a monotone voice. "Freak..." The gaurd muttered as he walked over and sat down in his chair.
((HURRY UP KHELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!))
The Malta entered the lobby. The attendant was asleep. Typical.
"WAKE THE HELL UP!" Reikoff yelled into his face.
((Come on, Khell...))
((OoC: I have been monitoring the thread, but just didnt have anything to post. AI isnt that social Been trying to come up with a new RP toon (villain origin prefered), but my game toons are kinda flat, and the toons I have available dont fit well into a CoX sys so I am waiting on Khells post for the next event))

Podo rose from bed quickly, not looking the least bit tired, though it was before sunrise. Hed gotten up at the exact same time for years and years, according to his warrior training, and it had become a normal habit. He normally took a gaze at the waning stars at this time, since he could never get back to sleep, but today he didnt bother, they were underground and it would be a waste of preparation time to find his way all the way back to the entrance.
The goblin dressed and marched into his bathroom and pulled out a curved dagger from his belt, sharpening it with a stone for a moment before putting it to use shaving the stubble on his face and scalp. Most people thought he was naturally bald, but he merely kept his head well shaved to avoid having his hair pulled in battle, something hed seen happen countless times, mostly to his teammate Billyboy, who wore his hair long.
After brushing his pointy teeth and answering the call of nature, Podo set his sword on his back and strapped it tight. He leaned on the foot that had been injured yesterday, which seemed to have been healed fully and permanently by the magicks of the elf.
The goblin spent a long time stretching, running through short attack and defense sequences to prepare his body for the coming day. After nearly an hour, he ran out of his room and to the front desk to enter himself into the next battle.
Good morrow, human greeter. Podo said to the attendant. I seek a place in the challenges of this day, perhaps thou may assist me in my quest?
OOC: Eeeehhhhhhhhhhhh.............. Hoooooooommmmeeeewwwooooorrrrkkkk........ And test server where I just missed a petiton reply because I was posting elsewhere and I'm still trying to work this tournament thing and yes Coldfire reminds me of Iron Fist. Ok, time to whip something up here.
BIC: The registrar wordlessly pointed over to the wall where the misfortuned Sky Raiders had come through before. The wall had been repaired and repainted but the interesting thing was a poster that a man was putting up. It read:
[Brought to you by the one and only Coliseum, the
SECOND ANNUAL BEAT DOWN TOURNAMENT!!!!!!
Come and see the best and the brightest go up against the worst and the dumbest! Watch supers of all kinds fight each other solely for your viewing pleasure! See the brand new owner of the Coliseum in his first public scene handing out the grand prize to the winner! Come for all the thrills and chills of a real life war fought just for YOU with no consequences what-so-ever, for you of course!
All aspiring contenders should sign up by May 10 ((today, game time)) and be ready to fight by May 11 ((game time)) as well. The tournament will start at 12 noon on the 11th and continue until only one fighter is left.
COME FOR THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!]
There were some disclaimers and legal stuff at the bottom of the poster along with a grand prize number that had more zeroes than most people see as one number in their entire lives. But printed in small letters underneath the prize money amount was the phrase, "Redeemable for one favor."
OOC: Knock yourselves out. I'll come back later with the first match of the day.
Statesman said let there be heroes, and there were heroes.
Lord Recluse said let there be villains, and there were villains.
NCsoft said let there be nothing, and there was nothing.
"Good." Reikoff stated. He signed himself and his crew up for the fight.
"There will be plenty of heroes..."
Many thanks, human greeter. Podo said with a small bow. I shall remember your kindness with fondness.
The goblin took a leap to the side and landed in front of the poster, reading quickly, finding a little difficulty in reading the human way of speaking and writing, still not entirely used to the new wave words and phrases.
Tis a fair challenge, and one I shall partake upon with zeal! the little green man stated with a nod. He grabbed a signup sheet and painstakingly wrote the information required with his left hands, as his right arm often tried to find shortcuts and ended up breaking pens in half of setting paper on fire.
((OOC: HaloInc, Id be happy to have some interaction between Agent and Podo if you want to get her out here. ))
(Did take me threating to write myself out for tis to get going again...)
Ryan listened to the anouncement. Damn it more paperwork, Ryan thought. The more paperwork that there was just ment more coverup late, and that always sucked.
Ryan stepped up to the registratoin desk and read the contract or sign-up sheet. At the bottom he signed, Mr. Shadow, as usaul and as he looked up the registratoin girl was smiling at him. "Thaaannnk you sir." She said a little shakily, "III...I am a big fan of your last fight, mr. Shadow" Ryan stared at her for a moment... "Thanks.." he hated fans, always wanting to know more about you.
As Ryan walked away he had a day to waste. Time to check out the Gym.

The pluses of being a Stone man, fast healing. It took only one night in the hos and combined with the highly effeciant medical team that worked here Goro was as good as new. Mabe even better.
Goro grabbed up his hammer and said thank you to the doctors and nurses that helped heal him. Even though they seemed used to dealing with people like Goro, Freaks of the above world as he would often be called. Few realize that if he wanted he could look like them but he had to always be on his gaurd. Goro has made alot of enemies.
After signing up Goro headed towards the pool room, were he was glad to see they had what he wanted. A lava hot tub, along with a acid one and others, not to metoin a regular one. It felt good to relax for the day.
(If anyone wants to interact with either of my Characters they can and please do, or they will just do their own thing.
AI took note of the increased activity as day took its hold. Since no Thorns left during her evening vigil, she proceeded back inside. In a flash of brilliant flame her ornate armour disappeard and again she was clothed in her scarlet and golden robes.
As she glided back into the lobby, she noticed the poster and skipped over to it. She took her time reading it, then lightly skipped over to the desk and more slowly she scanned the list of those signed up for the next days event. Flames shimmered in her eyes as she scanned down the page reading each name, with a pout of disappointment she replaced the sheet unsigned.

Podo, ever helpful, saw the pout on Agent Immolates face and walked to her, pulling on her robe lightly to get her attention. She looked down at him and he smiled, showing his pearly white, pointy teeth.
Well met, elven ally. He greeted. Mayhap thou is in need of assistance? As I am in thees debt, I am obliged to aid you with any task or quest, though I would help thou regardless of owed favors.
AI looked down at Podo and a bright smile erupted across her face, and for a moment podo was bathed in warmth.
"Hello small warrior" the smile faded slightly as she glanced back at the list "I am not sure if you can aid me." Her voice a musical sad note.

Reikoff stared intently at AI.
This is Agent Reikoff, testing telepathy cybernetics.
Read you, commander.
Identify...er...thinker?
Marcus.
We can't have the elf woman quit. Her power is destined to be ours. Someone go and pretend to ex us off of the list. Any sort of temporary hologram would be great.
Done and done.
Speaker?
Delta Four.
You Titans can hear us?!
Yes, sir. Performing command.
The Titan rises from its wall slump and bumps the registration pad as it passes to the opposite wall. When he is gone from it, AI sees the Malta signature scribbled over. The Titan slumps to the other side of the wall.
Excellent work, D4. Deactivate the hologram when the registrar begins to ready the list for approval.
Yes, sir.
I give thou my most sincere word that I shall assist thee with all of my power, if thee so ask of me. Podo replied, looking concerned. Thou hast performed a great charity upon my head, tis true, and this small warrior feels a debt to thee. Tell me of thy troubles, good elven ally. He pleaded.

Her brow in a slight frown "I was hoping that some of the damnable Thorns would sign up for this battle" as she speaks a red glow glimmers deep in her eyes, the wisp of white smoke from her mouth thicken slightly (but stays white) "I have only come here to continue my battle against the Circle. The last match I entered I needed to prove myself here, and I hoped that the Thorns would participate in that battle"
Her tone deepens as she asserts some control over something deep inside her "The Thorn mage Raxiurgiux fled here for sanctuary A brief ember pops from her eyes, as the temp rises noticeably However the coward has yet to step into the arena with a sigh the flames, heat and smoke subside.

The goblin was a bit taken back by Immolate's fiery temper, but he didn't let it show, he had been around amazing things all of his life, especially since coming to the surface world.
The Circle is an enemy to us all, tis true. Podo said. If thou dost wish to clash steel with the foul magicks, then thy cause is honorable, and thy blades strike for justice. Mayhap we can track our foul enemy, and perhaps request a duel against the cur, following the rules of the arena.
A surprised expression was evident in AIs face I did not know the Arena allowed such things. The fiery glimmer in her eyes sharpened to a bright pinpoint of flames. Who is responsible for arranging such things?

"Methinks the registrar would organize such a duel." Podo replied. "Mayhap thou could ask him?"
"Duels are not allowed in the arena," spoke a deep voice from behind Podo. "Although they are possible if you fill out several reams of paperwork."
Turning, the goblin saw a tall, but somewhat hunched over old man clad in flowing green robes. The man's grey beard reached down to about shoulder level and it could be seen that he was bald otherwise, as his hood was pulled down at the moment. He looked like quite an ordinary, harmless old man if you just ignored the flaming green eyes, rune inscribed, crystal tipped staff, and the several odd pouches and talismans hanging from his belt. The old mage looked at Agent and a wry smile crossed his features.
"I am Andraxus. A high archmagus of the Circle of Thorns. A pleasure to meet the two of you and now, if you'll excuse me, I need to sign the sign-up sheet."
Podo and Agent unconsciously took a step back from the desk to allow Andraxus access to the paper. His grin widening, Andraxus produced a feathered quill from a pouch and scribbled several somethings on the paper. Slipping the quill back in his pouch, Andraxus nodded at the registrar and slowly walked away. The registrar picked up the paper and read the names out loud.
"Let's see here. Andraxus, Drak'thul the Denied, Sartherron the Ending, Sefrist, and Raxiguriax. Raxigruix. Raxa-something or other. Damn runes."
OOC: More RP! MOAR!!!!!!
Statesman said let there be heroes, and there were heroes.
Lord Recluse said let there be villains, and there were villains.
NCsoft said let there be nothing, and there was nothing.
The Circle are powerful mages. They will be ours.
You got it.
"I'd check that sheet again!" Yelled an operative from across the room. There again the sheet displayed the title:
MALTA OPERATIVES, TEAM CHARLIE
SAMUEL REIKOFF, COMMANDER
4 AGENTS, 2 TITANS
SEE CAPTURE AGREEMENT IN DOCUMENT 37, SUB. 2.
The registrar looked back down at the paper and then gave a thumbs up to Reikoff and his crew.
Statesman said let there be heroes, and there were heroes.
Lord Recluse said let there be villains, and there were villains.
NCsoft said let there be nothing, and there was nothing.
Reikoff nods in approval to the registrar and looks greedily at the burning eyes of Andraxus.
(So, Ryan's pumping iron in the gym, and Goro's taking a lava base. ANYONE want to talk to them...)
(It is the next day, I started it scince no one else was posted, at the moment its really early cuz Ryan doesn't sleep to much when he's on the job.)
