He grinned and exhaled a huge stream of fire in as wide of a radius as he could.

The heavily armed and power suited man shook his head.
"I'm sorry ma'am, but house rules specifically prevent reinforcements to one side once a fight has begun," he began and then held up an empty hand when Jord looked ready to pound him. "If you'll hold on a moment please! As I was going to add, if you can find someone willing to reinforce the other team, then I'm sure something could be worked out. Now, may I see your evaluation card?"
Jord took out a card that she had been given after she and Iron Fist had been evaluated not but thirty minutes ago.
"Damn," whistled the guard. "A class A-1. I think the only guy avaliable that could match you was Andraxus; and he's already fighting. You could go check out the ready room, see if anyone is willing to go out there against you. Otherwise I guess you're [censored] outa luck. Ma'am."

"Very impressive, Mr. Infernus!" chirpped the insufferably cheery voice. "Now, if you would mind testing yourself against our friend Goro, here, then I am sure we'll have your evaluation in no time! But watch out, because Mr. Goro is rated an A-3!"
The spotlight switched off at the same time that the full lights turned on. It revealed a fairly small, blank room and a tall, stone-like man standing off next to the wall. The walls all looked extremely durable, as did the floor and ceiling.
"Whenever you're ready, Mr. Infernus!"
Statesman said let there be heroes, and there were heroes.
Lord Recluse said let there be villains, and there were villains.
NCsoft said let there be nothing, and there was nothing.
"Sheeeeeyaaaaaat! This wh't I cam' fo'!"
"Rock this, As'Ho!"
He rapidly fired off a series of flares, then followed by throwing a large glob of flame, which exploded in the air, showering the room with molten debris.
Goro pionted at Mr. Infernus. "Me Crush You" Goro said in his Brutish voice. Holing his huge hammer in his Right hand ready to crush.
"Yo' wan' sum', foo'?!" Yelled Infernus as his fists became engulfed in flame.
He shot towards Goro at blinding speed, fire erupting behind him to a level that it looked as if some sort of giant molten creature was flying forth.
Goro got ready, lifting his hammer up into a fighting position. As soon as Infernus came in Range Goro swung his huge hammer. "Me Crush"

The hammer came down a little too slow as infernous jetted to the side. Goro swung again this time horizontally in a circle.
((I thought stone brutes could make those hammers in like three seconds from dirt?))
Jord was angered slightly by the guard's response, but she allowed him to live, for he feared her as he should. She gently ran a hand down his cheek, then slapped his viciously, sending him sailing and knocking him out. Yes, she wouldn't kill him, but no one got off free when they refused Jord.
She walked to the appointed room and saw two men fighting, one wielding a stone hammer and the other slinging fire. She stood next to the entrance and watched with a smirk, thinking their fighting styles to be very impotent and stupid.

"Yo' swin' lik' m' gra'ma, n' sh' de'd!!"
He ducked low and wrapped back his fist; A massive flaming uppercut smashed into Goro's chin.
"AH!" He yelped as his hand crunched against the rock.
"Fin', yo' figh'n all tough' guy style--" He jumped backwards, nearly hitting Jord at the door, but he didn't even notice her.
"--Lem'e sho' yo' 'ow 'Ellion' do it!"
He drew back his fists, which began to glow with white heat, and thrust them forward, shooting a massive plume of fire ((Think out of a jet engine)) towards him. His hands instantly cooled, and he then pulled two grenades from his belt by the pins. He flicked his arm, throwing both grenades to the floor in front of him. They burst into a huge cloud of smoke.

Goro Reached down and pulled up a wall of Rock. As the steams hit it the wall began to slowly melt away. Goro Ran around and saw the smoke where infernus had once been. "Why you Run" He said as he charged through the somke.
A shimmering glow could be seen from Infernus' Damned mask.
"Y'can' w'n!" He screamed. He jumped into the air, landing on Goro's back. His knuckles began to spout flame much like a welding torch's. He smashed his fists into Goro.
"Graaw" Goro roared when Infernus landed on his back "Get OFF" Goro forced Rock spikes to launch out of his back hitting Infernus.
Infernus flew backwards, but performed a deft flip and landed upright. He smiled a wry smile. He was at range. He could win this now.
"Com' 'n g't s'm, p'nk!" He taunted as he slowly pulled out a grenade.
With his free hand, he began to swirl the air about; the entire room began to shimmer with heat. Jorg broke into a sweat. The lightbulbs filaments began to melt inside their cases.
"'Ows dis' f' climat' c'ntrol?!"
"Enough" Goro Roared. He swung his hammer over his head a few times till unleashing it onto Infernus. Then quickly ran forward forming rock boxing gloves around his hands.
"S'wrigh'! Fall n't' th' trap!!"
He threw his grenade; but he hadn't anticipated the mallet. It smashed into him, blowing him into the opposite wall with a horrible crunch.
For a split second, Goro could clearly see the grenade was labeled: "Poison Web."
Right before it hit him.
The gernade exploded covering Goro in a sticky substance that held him in place.... for the moment. Goro instantly tried to pull himself free. But the glue held fast. Picking a new approach Goro through his hands into the ground.Picking upo the ground around his feet. Pulling it apart atleast allowing him to move.
"Gon' b' all tricky now, p'nk?!" Inquired Infernus as the ground under him began to glow, melting, then forming small pellets of slag that he stepped on.
"Two c'n play a' 'dat game!" He yelled as he lifted into the air, directing several molten missiles towards Goro.
((Sorry, this went faster than anticipated. Haven't been here for awhile.))
Iron Fist was hit with the wall of rock...
And didn't move.
Mainly because a blue flame covered him from head to toe and was searing everything in its path, including the wall of rock, melting it.
"Now, you were saying?"
He sent an even bigger fire ball at the magical man, expecting it to explode and send everyone else in the arena, including his teamates, a giant flaming circle, most likely to kill them.
((BTW, can we get a worthy opponent for Jord? I was hoping for her to be able to fight alongside with Iron Fist.))
Goro lifted up his hand and the Molten rock attached its self to Goro and formed a layer of stone around him. "HAHAHAHA' Goro laughed "You try hurt me with stone HAHAHAHA". Goror then began his charged again.

"Chu had 'nuff?!" Screeched Infernus as fireball after fireball flew into the form of Goro.
Goro felt the heat start to build but he wasn't going to stop now, this was too good. Without breaking pass as he passed his hammer he picked it up and swung it around to hold it in both his stone ridden hands "Heat no stop me, ME CRUSH"
