Guide to CoX Zen
* As a PuG leader, a handful of gratitude and a dash of joyful anticipation will garner a gallon of team attention and another of enthusiasm.
* 20 minutes of attention to your character's detail (backstory, attractive costume, good name) and a little friendly roleplay will return many long standing in-game comrades, an array of compliments, many SG invites, and lots of tells when you log in.
* Have fun.
* If someone is having fun at your expense, use the /ignore command and/or find a group you can have fun WITH.
* It's just a game.
* I know. But still, it's just a game.
- Firing last is better than firing first. Unless it's a mez.
- Things go easy exactly long enough for the team to speed up to a faster pace than is safe. At which point the +2 Quantum Boss appears.
- If it's too safe, it's too boring.
- Debt is like the nervous sweat after a good roller coaster ride. It's just a receipt for the fun you had.
- Every time a Kheldian aggroes a spawn that's only partially visible, it's mathematically certain that there a Q or a V in the hidden part of the spawn.
- Every time the game gets too boring, accept a blind invite to a PUG in the Hollows. Many things may result, but none will be boring.
- Travel powers are worth their weight in Influence. A teammate with Recall Friend is worth more than that.
- "HEAL ME" is codename for "I hope you're better than me, or we're doomed"
- Its always going to be that one time you miss that gets you killed.
- A nova is always half a second faster than you can jump.
- Murphy's Law applies in PvP
- Debt is like a headache, it comes and goes and is never pleasant.
- A large large detailed base does not a great SG make.
- the players rank is 50, not thier age
- Villians are sometimes the hero's in the game
Ok thought of some more...
- He who needs frequent bio breaks or sandwiches would be wise to take fly as a travel power
- DPS may be good, but shooting robots with xray beams from your eyes is better
- Pwnz me once, shame on you. Pwnz me twice, shame on me. Pwnz me three times, OMG ur overpowrd NERF DOOOM.
- PL a n00b and he's your friend for a day. Recall a n00b into a herd of malta and he's your friend for the rest of his life.
- Don't look a gift buff in the mouth.
* If a stranger gives you anything (enhancements, buffs, heals, influence, etc.), thank them. Even if you didn't need it.
* Anyone with an equal number of debt badges and damage badges is not to be trusted.
* Give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Once.
* Re: Debt. Learn to recognize the difference between mistakes and bad luck. Learn from your mistakes, curse your luck, and laugh about them both.
* A bad plan is worse than no plan at all.
* A bad team is worse than no team at all.
* If a teammate says "Let me try something," just stand back. They might actually pull it off; if not, you'll have a headstart.
* When in doubt, pull.
* There are multiple difficulty settings for a reason. Never be afraid to try a harder setting, and never be too proud to try an easier one.
* Bad PuG's make for great stories.
* Anything that cons red or purple deserves your respect.
* If an experienced Tank or Scrapper says "Run," you probably have less than 20 seconds to live. Take their advice.
* Try something impossible. The Scrapper who defeats 3 white minions will be forgotten in a day; the Blaster who tries to tank Jurassic will be remembered forever.
* A good "healer" is no substitute for a good plan. "Get another healer" is not a good plan.
* Re: Unconventional tactics. If it works, it was a good plan. Vengeance --> Fallout --> Mutate is a perfectly viable strategy, provided all involved parties are in agreement.

As soon as you start a TF/ST your wife will want to spend time with you.
Those who hog awakens are condemed to use them.
Don't be too rude to those who blind invite; there might come a day when you will be prayinng for any invite, even a blind one.
