Coordinate problem
Ok I'm trying to do this from memory, so further confirmation/correction is appreciated. You're on the right track. In options, click on the keymapping tab and basically scroll to the bottom. In the last section is something like "get position", immediately to the right are 2 columns that say something akin to "not used". Click on the middle column and then press the key you want that function mapped to. After that just click on the "save changes" tab at the bottom.
Hope that helps.
It's not how many times you get knocked down that count. It's how many times you get up.
Thanks but I did that and I still don't get coordinates. This is quite frustrating.
if you are using /loc, your coordinates should appear in the global window (pink text if I remember right). If you are looking at the global chat tab when you type '/loc' and still don't see it, right click in the chat window and choose 'Edit Tab'. The 'System' channel may have been accidently removed. If you don't see it, add it back to the tab and try again. It works, I swear. :-)
The output of /loc will show up if you have a chat tab that is displaying the appropriate type of chat text. I'm not sure if it's Error, System, or something else. The output is just 3 numbers in X Z Y coordinates. The best thing you can do is make up a new chat tab with every type of chat text.

Yes That was it! I feel kind of stupid. Thanks to all who helped me!
Then I wonder how you'll feel when you find out you posted this in the Player Guide section, which never expires. Future generations will look through the old guides here and ... possibly come to the same conclusion you did. But don't worry, lots of people post questions in here. Maybe a kindly Moderator will move it to the Player Questions forum. Then in two weeks or so, all will be forgotten. :-)

We can always rename this thread to: Guide for Getting /loc to Display
Speeding Through New DA Repeatables || Spreadsheet o' Enhancements || Zombie Skins: better skins for these forums || Guide to Guides
I'd say just post a link named "Getting your coordinates unconfused" in the guide to guides. It would have meaning on more than one level
I tried using /loc and /pos to try and get my coordinates but it doesn't work. I even loked into Options and Controls to seek out the "Get Position" but that isnt even there also. What can I do to get my coordinates?
