It happened in Atlas.... (Open RP)
Techsupport looked down at his 'primitive' gloves and then nodded to himself "Well, it's showtime." he said determined.
Reaching back, he activates the powerswitch on the backpack and a hum begins to emanate from it. He steps out of his cover and into the streets while striking the backs of the gloves to gether like they were matches.
A thick-sounding 'zzzrt' is made every time he does this, and a little more of an electric charge builds around the metal monstrosities.
He counts off until he's pretty sure that he has decent power going and twists back with both hands cupping the air between. Electricity sparks between them, forming an artifical ball-lightning phenomenon. Just when it seems that the growing ball will touch with the gloves, shorting itself out, he hurls it towartds the Behemoth, giving a single quick shout in warning.

Miles behind every hero chasing the overlord, it layed there after being blasted through the air by Tech. Just then Xyfen was getting up after being blown off by wollfe.
"Holy crap!" He yelled.
"Out of our way, troll!" Yelled the ruin mage.
".........you should get used to this electricity stuff, grandpa!" Xyfen trapped the overlord and the ruin mage in a tesla cage.
"hehe, totally got ya...whats that ya got there grandpa?" He asked.
"Its a mystic amulet that will destroy you, if you do not let us out!!" He yelled.
"Amulet eh?...Im gonna have to confiscate that." Xyfen said.
"What?" Xyfen teleported behind Ruin mage and stole the amulet.
"YOINK!" He said.
"Curses!!" Yelled the mage, as Xyfen ran away looking for Ice Blok.
Ice Blok was being pummeled repetedly by the police's bullets when suddenly a megaphoned voice shouted, "Hold your fire, Azuria from Magi called the station, he's on the up-and-up. Repeat, hold your fire!"
Heat Storm stared at, who he atleast thoguht was the leader of M.A.G.I. He didn't realy now much about them. "What do you mean he's on the up and up? Are you trying to tell me he's a hero. If he's a hero, me and the city differ greatly on the defination." He started at...he wasn't sure what her title was. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't melt him."
Ice Bloc stood in the circle of officers. They brandished some dangerous looking weaponry, judging just the size of them. THey were barking orders, yelling at him to get on the ground and to put his hands behind his back. The problem was they were coming from different people. Ice Bloc had no idea what the protocol was, so he remained standing with his arms raised. He could hear a fight raging at the edge of his hearing, but knew that he could retrieve the amulet at his leisure. Being immortal changed his perspective of the time table.
He became intently interested when he heard the amplified voice from outside mention Azuria. "Yes, the Master asked me to come here and retrieve the amulet. I must pursue the beast that took it. Now where is it?!" He was walking toward the "entrance" he had made and the police were trying to stop him, though they were having no success. Ice Bloc looked out on the street, but could not see the fight he could hear. "WHERE DID THE BEAST GO?!" he shouted at the police, demanding that they tell him. It was almost as though he was getting angry.
"And I suppose he's suppose to yell." Heat Storm stood inbetween two officers. "Icy, stand down or you dead, got it." He had reasoned it out, it wasn't human so he could kill it with out any legal implications, it be like killing a Hydra. He pointed both index fingers at it. Lets get it on. "Look, I'm sure the other heroes can handel it, now lay down and maybe you'll survie till the spring thaw." He could hear Azuria yelling something, he choose to ignore her.
Judging by the noise coming from /inside/ the building, Techsupport's glad he's not inthere. Judging by the fact that he's still standing, he's also glad that noone mistook him for a wannabe Freak.
With his initial charge spent, he begins to power up the gloves he's wearing again, cursing this entire mess under his breath...
"I wish *zzrt* that *zrrt* I didn't pick *zrrt* today to get my *zrrt* Armor cleaned..." At the end, he clasps both his hands together pointed in the general direction of the Overlord, striking the fiend with a solid lightning bolt like blast.

Neem noticed the troll looking individual teleport over to the mage and take the amulet. "Just wonderful, I hope hes on our side" he muttered as he lanced down a powerful energy attack right at the mage's skull. The blast knocked the ruin mage out and Neem quickly tossed a police teleporter onto his body to send him to the ziggarat's medical facilities. He usually felt sorry for the CoT that got sent there as the spirits dominating the body usually released them just as they got taken down. At least this time the ghost did't have the chance to detonate the body killing his host.
He turned his attention to the troll and chased after him as best he could trying to keep track of where he was porting.
xyfen noticed neem following him, shortly after he started running.
"Gimme that amulet, troll!" Neem yelled.
"WHAT!?! Im green, ok?! Not a troll, why cant anyone get it through their friggin skull!!" Xyfen yelled.
"Oh! so your on our side?" Neem asked
"Uh, yeah!" He yelled.
"then why are you taking the amulet?"
"To give it to the ice thingy bob"
".....his name is bob?"
"no"
"oh....why are you giving it too him?"
"*sigh* his master will die or sumthin, i dunno."
"what? what if its a good thing?"
"He destroyed a buncha hellions, i dont know!"
"okay listen....umm whats your name?"
"xyfen"
"xyfen?"
"YES XYFEN!"
"Okay okay, xyfen, just gimme the amulet"
".....how do i know your not EVIL ?"
"your gonna have to trust me!"
"Ill trust you when you can find me" xyfen became invisible, with much dissapointment to neem.
Captain Neem floated there silently for a few seconds. "I could have handled that a bit better." He shrugs and heads back toward the werehouse, If Xyfen was true to his word he will return there, if not then Neem might just have to get help to track him down. Azuria would more than likely have the motivation and means, for now though, he would trust the green skinned one.
He arrived back at the werehouse to see the standoff between the Ice Blok and some hero pointing at him.
meanwhile, miles away from the warehouse...
"dang, where is that snow man" xyfen was still on the hunt.
"I wonder if that one dude was seriously good." He heard the sirens coming from down the streets.
"Thats it! follow the po-pos" xyfen followed the cops, until he got to the warehouse. He saw neem and some other hero. He wispered to Ice Blok:
"Hey, big guy, heres the amulet."
"Thank you Invisible one" He said
"Invisible one? Xyfen!!" captain neem said.
"Now, my master can come here.
"okay then...Who is he?"xyfen asked.
"you will see" In a blur of light a figure apeared.
"Oh my frickin lord.....how STUPID could i have been?!" xyfen yelled. what stood there, noone could believe that it was:
Heat Storm didn't need to see anything, he was going on instinct, if Icy wants the Amulet then Icy shouldn't have it. It didn't matter that Icy could be a hero, as a general princable he didn't trust most of Paragon's heroic community and the bit he did trust he ussaly kept an eye on. Ignore something going on, right now he had to get that amulet. He charged, he jumped and joined both hands. His internal supply of heat changed inside of him by entering his nerves. On his hands a flow of electricity jumped out of nerve ending and he brought the force down. He grabbed the fallen amulet and made a run for it. The whole time hoping he had made the right call.
(OOC Note: I left who got hit a mystery because it's abit of a mystery as to who was holding it in your last post Xyfen, so who ever did filling in your post accordingly. It's not a killing blow, but in game terms it would disorent. Just so thier is no confusion as to how Heat would know, if he can see the amulet Ice Bloc would be holding it and if Xyfen has it then he would go for the invisable voice. And now for every hero in a five block radius to chase down Heat Strom.)
((wow, noone wants to help the wolf huh? Solo Lobo I guess.))
The behemoth overlord was a real problem now. With everyones attention diverted to the amulet Blood Wolffe had an opportunity. He looked to make sure that noone had their attention on him then he pulled off his most ghastly move. He lept at the beast and clamped down on its throat with his canine jaws. Blood gushed out as he growled, crushing the overlords airway. It sent adrenaline coursing through his veins. When the beast stopped moving Blood Wolffe got excited and let out a blood chilling howl. He ripped off his goggles to reveal his ghostly wolfen eyes, which some said could peirce the soul of whoever made eye contact with him for too long, and they would be judged by the spirit of the wolf. They would know the suffering they caused others, the honor they did or didnt have.
"Hopefully noone saw that." He knew the consequences if someone did.
The adrenaline had fully revitalized him and now he could smell amulet. He took off at full speed after Heat Storm. After catching up to him and seeing who it was he jumped down behind him.
"Heat Storm" He called out, breathing heavily.
"I dont want to fight you and you dont want to fight me."
"The amulet please."
Heat storm turned around and saw Blood Wolffe. His mouth to his chest was covered in blood and he was looking down, avoiding eye contact.
"But if I have to I will."
((Just a note, Blood Wolffe is completely human in appearance except for his teeth, which are somewhere between human and wolf teeth, and his eyes, which look like wolf eyes. There could be some confusion with above post.))
Heat Storm stared at the blood for a moment, but the electric discharge was having it's ussal side effects. His mind ran about a third faster than normal and it was making odd conections, like why did he avoid eye contact. He ignored that and pointed his index finger at him. As of yet Wolffe hadn't seen what he could do, it might take him by surprise.
"I'm not going to give it to anyone. He is not a hero, I don't care about intent, he walks along as if no one exists, plowing through anything that gets in his way. I'm not going to let a thing like that have whatever powers this has." Heat Storm's tone made it clear that this was non-negotiable. Heat started to back up, he didn't want to expose his back to Wolffe. He still wasn't sure what he was going to do with the amulet,it was painful clear that it had magical properties and destorying it might cause all hell to break loose, all that he knew was it could be trusted to no one but him.
(OOC Note: Someone has to try and stop the misunderstood good guy.)
(( no ones gonna fill in who Ice Blok's master is?))
(OOC Note: I'm pretty sure that it was Azuria, you know, the Atlas M.A.G.I. contact.)
( not another winterlord!! heehee )
I saw the magical beast you speak of. If he is the REAL Winterlord, his clone was but a minor fragment of the real power of the Winterlord.
Thug: "I-I-I'm sorry I won't go anywhere near her again! I promise!"
Zero Mark: " Her nor anyone else in this city! Now begone with you!"
Zero Mark: "Brrr, its mighty cold out tonight isn't it? Good think I conduct fire, or I dont know what I'd do." He told his sidekick, Dark Wind.
Dark Wind: "Yes, it is.....Oddly cold if you ask me...It seems to be, getting colder by the minute...Very strange..."
Zero Mark: "What are you getting to Dark?"
Dark Wind: "Nothing....Just keep an alert eye open for any suspicion."
Zero Mark: "Will do, Dark, Will------"
*Loud Footsteps*
Zero Mark: " What the------"
Not a sound comes from either of the two as the sit and stare, bug eyed at the humongous beast as it walks by them.
What is this beast, and why has it come to Paragon City? And most important of all.....Why is it headed toward Independence Port? (Think about it....Independence Port....Water.....yaaaaa)

((Was going to let PCU tell that one, its his character after all))
Blood Wolffe saw Heat Storm point his index finger at him. He jumped out of the way but nothing happened. Then he looked behind him and saw a stop sign melting and bursting into flames. Heat Storm had some tricks up his sleeve that was for sure. Blood Wolffe returned fire with a blast of energy. Apparently he had some good reaction times because he ducked under it and the blast hit a delivery truck knocking it up on two wheels for a moment then coming back down looking like something hit it.
"This guy is fast" he thought.
Then Heat Storm hit him with what felt like a lance of heat. It burnt terribly and Blood Wolffe spastically flailed at his stomach, where he was hit, yelping and screaming. Blood Wolffe was not one to lick his wounds when more important things were going on though, he fired of a giant blast of energy even Heat Storm couldnt avoid with his "improved nervous system.
It sent him back a few yards and he hit the concrete with a sickening crunch. He sprung right back up though, ready for more.
Heat Storm was faster with his extra electrical connections but his power was spread out between that and his heat lances, Blood Wolffe had the edge in power.
After a few minutes of tearing each other apart Blood Wolffe was smoldering, literally. Heat Storm was probably suffering from internal bleeding.
This was going to end either right now or with both of them dead so Blood Wolffe did the only thing he knew would stop Heat Storm in his tracks. He tried to make eye contact. His rumoured "Gaze of the Wolf". After he would know Heat Storm as well as he knew himself and Heat Storm would know the suffering he caused others, if any. So he started trying to make eye contact.
If that didnt work, they could rip each other to pieces.
((NOTE: I stated "trying to make eye contact" in case Hermod doesnt want that to happen, which is fine.
((OK, instead of making an RP pose, I'll try and recap what has gone before...))
Azuria, in need of heroic assistance but no heroes around to help her at this moment, has summoned a frost creature from another plane of existance; Ice Bloc.
She charged the icy behemoth to retrieve an amulet for her from some Hellions, and the literal tank walked off in a straight line to its target. This caused all due attention..
The first ones to discover the summoned hero was a group of Hellions in the street, which drew the attention of Blood Wolffe. Unfortunately Blood Wolffe was being ignored for the time being, but others were paying attention too. First of all the media, and on his television set Joseph "Techsupport" Wills.
For a moment, the clamor also attracted the attention of someone named TicToc, but more persistant were the calls that went out to the local law enforcement, who went to the scene quickly.
Finally, Blood Wolffe and Ice Bloc reached the location where the Hellions were keeping the amulet, but not alone, the police was busy setting off the area and demanded the pair of vigilantes and the criminals to come out with their hands up. Bloc showed no signs of hearing this, but Wolffe definately didn't like it, and retalliated against the police. This, of course, drew additional attention from Xyfen and Captain Neem... This was beginning to look like a very crowded battle.
Elsewhere in the city, Permafreeze detected the leftover trail of Ice Bloc...
Meanwhile, back at the scene of the mass confusion, another hero has entered the scene; Heat Storm. He knew of Blood Wolffe's reputation, and he also mistook Ice Bloc for another manifestation of the thought to be defeated Winter Lord. This had all the makings of an ugly confrontation. Unfortunately, Crey agents decided to appear on the scene. Ice Bloc was still trying to retrieve his objective, though, inside the building.
Heat Storm gave up his new chase momentarily to settle an old private score with these fellows, while the unfortunate Blood Wolffe was trying to stave off a tranquiliser dart with all his will.
This all on TV, what a sight. But what is a hero when they don't feel the need to do what they can to do the right thing? Joe might not have his customary power armor handy, but he still had the things he made before he had the armor, and he set out to find them while the mayhem progressed. Inside the building, for instance, Ice Bloc encountered a Ruin Mage and a Behemoth Overlord. They, too, were after the amulet and the Mage dangled their prize in front of the summoned iceman.
Of course, when a second hero comes onto the scene with the Circle, the battle breaks out immediately...
Outside, Heat Storm was dragging Blood Wolffe along while blasting his way through the Crey. Making good time, the hero called in by the cops entered onto the chaos of the CoT Versus Ice Bloc. He ditched Wolffe and joined into the fray immediately.
Permafreeze, having followed the rather obvious trail, now came onto the recently defeated operatives. She made her way over to Heat Storm and the unconcious Wolffe, her presense having a rather fortunate effect there as the sudden chill woke the wolfish hero up with a start. Unfortunately, by now, apparently the Behemoth Overlord had made off with the amulet while the Ruin Mage distracted everyone else with his mighty Earthquakes. Wolffe immediately sett off in pursuit.
Finally arriving, after putting on a makeshift disguise and his Oooooold prototype stuff, is Techsupport. Of course he's none too thrilled to see a Behemoth Overlord in the streets. Heat Storm, in the mean time, decided it better to continue the thing he came here for to do; Stop Ice Bloc.
Now, things started to really heat up. While Captain Neem was going toe-to-toe with the Ruin Mage, Techsupport strained the limits of his makeshift gear and helped out Wolffe with the Behemoth, unleashing a Ball Lightning at it. ((At this moment, I have to say Xyfen is being very confusing, but let's keep to it that he managed to stumble onto the amulet.))
At that point the police got a message from Azuria back at city hall. She called them after she got word of all the mayhem and confusion to tell them that Ice Bloc was with her, and doing a mission he is charged with. Another unfortunate miscommunication made Heat Storm think that the person calling out was neither Azuria, nor Ice Bloc a hero. Ice Bloc, however, was still mostly oblivious to the confusion but had realised that his amulet was now gone. Shouting out his demands to be told where it was, only strengthened Heat Storms believe that he was not on the "Good fight".
Tech, in the mean time, continued to pelt the Behemoth Overlord with his electrical blasts from one side, while Blood Wolffe attacked it from another. Captain Neem, having escaped the attentions of the Ruin Mage, discovered Xyfen holding the object of everyones apparent desire. Of course, with Hellions, Mages, Demons and Crey wandering around, Xyfen had no way to make sure that Neem was on his side either. Though, instead of going for the conflict, Xyfen peacefully defused the confrontation by going invisible.
((Again, Xyfen is a little confusing, but I'll put it down the best I can...))
A strange voice startled the invisible hero, having taken refuge a little while off from the massive battle... Or perhaps he ran into the wrong direction. Somewhere, or somehow, yet another party has gotten involved in this, and they appeared to be quite happy that Ice Bloc, and thus Azuria, did not have the pendant back yet. Heat Storm, however, was doing his very best to find Xyfen back and claim the amulet for himself.
Meanwhile, it appeared that Blood Wolffe had finally taken down the Behemoth Overlord, without even noticing the help he had received ((Sigh, the fate of a Defender..(joke))). He saw Heat Storm take off and hurried after him...
Somewhere else in the city, another hero was doing his heroic duty when suddenly a strange sight wandered by.
Heat Storm and Blood Wolffe were still engaged with one another, though. Neither willing to back off like two goats on a narrow bridge...

At my best guess, this leaves everyone in the following positions.
Xyfen: Somewhere far off, wondering who or what just talked to him.
Blood Wolffe and Heat Storm: Somewhere halfway between Xyfen and The Warehouse, having an argument.
Techsupport and Permafreeze: Still at the warehouse, in the aftermath of the fight and probably wondering why everyone else is ignoring them.
Captain Neem: Trying to find Xyfen.
Zero Mark: Standing somewhere en-route between The Warehouse and the general direction of Independance Port.
Ice Bloc: Heading towards Independance Port, having been told the amulet is apparently there...
I have no idea /who/ has the thing now, and I think that is left best to the OP to pose. I would like to request, even if this is not my RP, that everyone please stop posting poses for other people's characters. It's extremely confusing to follow for everyone, specially when you put their characters somewhere else in a blink.
We now return you to our regular programming.

((Sorry about that techsupport, I thought you went after the mage. As for the confusion, this story has gotten pretty wild. I have left openings for more interaction with permafreeze though, right now Blood Wolffe's skin is near ignition temp. A shot of ice would feel real good right about now, no matter how damaging . The smoothness of the story is faltering, but dont let this thread die, I like it. Just remember dont make someone else do something you arent sure they want to do. i.e. forcing my "gaze of the wolf" to reveal all Heat Storm's sins might go against his character so I said he attempted to make eye contact. It is just considerate.
EDIT: Sorry for making you feel left out too, I was rushing through the first few responses, it wont happen again. I promise))
(OOC Note: It was a good recap, I'll try and fill in a few points. Xyfen got the amulet and I figured if Ice Bloc got it it would be the end of the story and I'm enjoying this. Xyfen came up to Ice Bloc and tryed to give him the amulet Heat Storm stopped it, not now if he could trust anyone to have it. So one of the two, still waiting for either to respond, was hit. Heat Storm 'recovered' (or properly stole) the the Amulet and is now trying to take on Blood Wolffe. I don't get why Ice Bloc would be heading for IP, he knows were the amulet is at all times so would be heading after Heat Storm if he's able. And Heat Storm was always near the ware house that Ice Bloc was in, he only shot at the Bemoth and only once, he was only trying to provide some assitance before he got back to stopping Ice Bloc. Thats what I got hope it clears it up abit, and not control other people is a good idea.)
Heat Storm looked definately at Blood wolffe, he leaning somewhat, with every breath he could feel his ribs poking his lungs. He wasn't certain how badly he was hurt, but he knew that this had to end or both of them would die. His hand gripping the amulet was white knuckled, he could try and run for it, but that would leave him exposed and he doubted he could run for long like this. He got ready for another desperate stab with his heat when his eyes caught Wolffe's. He stopped for a second and he say his...life.
He was in the board room with the Countess in his suit again going over the plan to gain a controlling interset in Recluse Ind. He was once again one of the best buisnessmen in Crey, mere steps away from making it to Crey management. Then it was the fatefully day he defected from Crey. Will had cornered him and he had just gotten his powers. The desperate struggle insued, in the end Will had him pinned on the ground and he started talkng. He explained to Will what was going on in Crey, what he was supporting, unfortunately it worked. They defected together. Then he was in Wills car driving as fast as they could to get to his appertment. The got to the door, it was smashed opened, inside was a note. If you ever want to see Alice agian you will hand over Trevor Gulo. And then they were at the warehouse together, they ran in and together made it through the Crey gaurds. They made it to where Alice was being kept. They were to late, she lay on the ground dead, Will's 12 year old daughter killed by a Paragon Protector.
It ended and Trevor was in tears as he collapsed backwards, the tiny part of him not consumed by what he had caused held white knuckled onto the amulet.
(OOC Note: And now you know what Heat Storm's grude with Crey is. I hope it isn't over dramatic or sappy or anything ilke that.)
Captain Neem looked around confusedly and he was starting to feel like he was in the middle of the most confused battle ever. Apparent heroes were blasting eachother, a giant ice beast was having difficulties getting back an amulet for some unknown host, some sneaky green skinned trollish looking fellow was involved somehow, and the cops didn't have any better idea of what was going on than he did.
Neem decided it was in his best interests to just sit back and keep an eye on the amulet and ice beast and yelling at people right now might just exacerbate an already bad situation. He hovered quietly off the ground and waited.
for a moment a dark figure stands at the edge of sight than dissapers out of view.
Captain Neem had kept up with the Behemoth Overlord but when they were forced to land focused his attentions on the Ruin Mage. Captain Neem hovered outside of the range that the behemoth could blow its fire and rained bolts of energy down on the Ruin Mage's head.
"Why do these guys always take damage so well?" He pondered as he threw his most powerful attacks at him.
The ruin mage seemed more interested in making the earth shake so any heroes not in the air would be less of a threat so that he could then focus on Neem.
