Hero Academy (open RP)
Celes stood and followed Alan out the door. She flexed her back, causing her wings to almost instantly melt into her back, no longer visiable. She listened quietly as they walked, head staring down at the ground. She could still feel eyes upon her, following her, staring at the horns she could not hide.
She felt more than she heard the slicing of the air. The undeniable whoosh of a blade through the air. Hearing Alan grunt, Celes spun on her heel to see the robed man with the sycthe. She jumped back, heart pounding in her chest. She felt a hot, angry fire grow inside her as her eyes burned into Reaper Man.
"What in the hel..." she exclaimed her melodic voice taking on a hard edge.
Her survival instinct kicked in. From being hunted her whole life, she devloped a dark side as she called it. Her eyes became cold, jaded, and dark. She set her jaw tightly, her face becoming hard-egde and slightly frightening.
"HOW DARE YOU..." her voice now deep and intimadating, no longer the soft angelic it normally is.
Darkness slid from her shadow and rooted the Reaper Man to the ground. Wisps of darkness clinging to his legs, making him immobile.
Her blood felt as if it was on fire and a strange heat emminated from her body. Her moonlight hair began to float around her head as if a wind was circling her. She clenched her fists as her aura becomes visiable, a darkness circling her. Her clenched fists begin to radiate with a pulsating light, cutting through the pitch blackness of her aura.
"Time to play..." her cold and haunting voice whispered out into the night.
Reaper Man didn't bother fighting the tenticals holding him, he was no stranger at all to negetive energy. He liked the girl though, and he knew someone else who would like her. He chuckled in his deep sore voice, he concentrated and the tenticals lost thier grip on him. He lifted his sycthe and cut the tenticals. He chuckled again.
(OOC Note: I'm going to wait for everyone else to respond before he starts fighting back.)
Lord Raymond was walking his dogs, and was very very happy, when he heard a bit of a struggle starting up.
"Lets go see whats up shall we boys." said Lord Raymond talking to Tank and Bull.
When they arrived on the scene Lord Raymond could tell that something was not right and so could the dogs who took off towards the fight and began biting at the Reaper Man with their massive jaws.
"Well I suppose if they are going to fight I should as well," said Lord Raymond as he bowed low to his opponent as fencers do. As he bowed he became incrusted in all his familiar armors because he did not know which armor he needed for this little venture.
"Feel the Power of My Glory!" yelled Lord Raymond as he jumped into the air, axe over his head, to come down on Reaper Man.
She paused at a landing, near the door to the grounds, one hand on the release bar. Her back was still to him, but the glass front of the fire extinguisher panel gave her a phantom view of the man. He wore two pistols, and now his hand hovered over the hilt of a knife.
"Wow, and I thought Politicians were cowards," her posture did not change. "You stand behind an unarmed woman, one you have already insulted, with two guns and a knife, and continue to hack at her. And no, I don't work for the Army anymore, not after they ordered me to murder a bunch of innocent mothers and children to cover up a mess."
"I said I wasn't interested, I only fight to kill. There is no other reason to ever fight, physically anyway. So, hero, you gonna knife a lone woman, in sweats, with no weapons, in the back? I have other things to do."
With that, she pushed the door open, keeping one eye on the reflection, and left the building. Ten years ago, she thought, I might have had some fun. It's his issue, not mine, and pushing someone to fight is only for cowards and children.
((OOC: MaDeuce has no interest in bigots or people itching to fight. Her training has been very specific, she does not spar with the living using weapons, does not play war games. Pointing a weapon at another living thing is only to kill it, and fighting with her is the same result. I hope that a hero would not stab another in the back, especially after such an evident wish not to fight. Also, an Army Brat is not someone in the Army, it is the child of a military person.))
The second she said she didn't work for the army anymore Gilth relaxed and walked away. He had an apointment to keep and was not in the mood for stalking her to make sure. But he was impressed, he was pretty sure his knife was well conceled and he had taken down quite a few people without them knowing he was going for it. He thought about it, he wondered what else she could do as he walked outside.
He walked down a street and then let his inhanced senses take over the looking. He caught Yowie's scent in an alley. He ducked in and looked around, he couldn't see his old friend. The he heard a sound so minute that it would be lost to the background sounds of the city, except to him. He went prone in an instant as the bullet hit the wall, instead of ricocheting off the cement wall it dug in. "Wonderful, someone wants to kill me." He saw a rifle being pulled away by the would-be assassian. He also saw a piece of fresh paper, he grabbed it and rushed up the fire escape. He drew a pistol, "Great way for my day to go. 8-tall-she-freak, Yowie's missing, and a Band member tried to kill me." He got to the roof, but the assailant wasn't there anymore. He looked down at the note.
Gilth, if you're reading this we at the Band want you to come back. Your sister is fine, no need to worry. But we can't let you run around anymore, your options are, a) rejoin your family or, b) we will be forced to kill you. It should be noted that we have fixed the problem with the rations.
Wester
"Wester." He rubbed under his nose and looked at his finger, blood. "Ah hell."
The dog bite Reaper Man's leg and ran away tring to vomit, the seacond dog took the blunt end of his sychte on it's side. He glared at them, and then at the rock man and then the girl. "Interseting," he brought the scythe down and into the man shoulder, the blade went in an inch and stopped, but he had missed the crystals and raw pain in the form of negetive energy carryed through. "I could do with a new arm." He said absent mindly. Alan had yet to get up, The jobs done, now to take my price. He pulled the scythe out and raised it into the air for another slice, this time on the interseting girl.
Radon had gotten up to follow the others out, but fell behind when he spotted the gumball machine. Remembering what Celes had said about just coming to Earth he thought it might be fun to introduce her to bubble gum. He had just come out of the shop when he looked up ahead just in time to see a strange villain sink his scythe into Lord Raymond's arm. Deciding to take advantage of the element of surprise he began gathering power into his hands. Suddenly, the unknown attacker removed his weapon from Lord Raymond's shoulder and raised it toward Celes.
"DON'T TOUCH HER!!!" he shouted at the assailant as he unleashed a volley of protons into his back knocking him off his feet.
Using his super speed Radon dashed past him, scooped up Mended Ribs, and came to a stop between Celes and Lord Raymond. Without wasting a moment he bathed them in healing radiation and focused his powers to accelerate their metabolisms. By this time, creature had risen to its' feet and he got his first look at it.
"What the...?! Who are you supposed to be, the [censored] Grim Reaper?" he said as twin beams of x-rays were expelled from his eyes.
Seeing what the villain had done to Mended Ribs and Lord Raymond, Radon knew that this wasn't going to be an easy fight. Thinking they'd need every advantage they could get he used his abilities to refract the light around them, rendering them invisible to the naked eye.
"I know he'll find some way to attack but at least this way he won't be as accurate and that's better than nothing. Hopefully, all those shots of radiation have softened up his defenses too." he thought to himself as he launched a haze of electrons to knock their foe off his feet again.
(OOC: Like Sibling, my censor applies to people who enjoy the company of a member of the same sex. )
His targets disappered, he had a general idea of where they are by the to points of negetive energy, TWO!? So he is still alive. A burst energy hit him, a quick move of his scythe and he managed to stay upright, annoying
Alan regained contiousness and was floating in midair, "uh, what happened?" He said quitely, incase this was the after life, he had a feeling that it would be a good idea not to attract attention. Then he saw Reaper Man, what was odd was the area on fire had uncovered part of his cheast, it had stitches on it. What the hell is going on? He couldn't see his own hand in front of his face.
Reaper Man held out his hand and spread his fingers, "I could only wish I was the Grim Reaper." He unleshed a torrent of negetive energy on where, by the points of energy, should be.
(OOC Note: I take it that Lord Raymonds dog's are covered by the bent light.)
Celes gaped as he cut her tendrils away.
Thats not cool. Granted it's a basic power but it's still not fair. , she thought.
She watched the Reaper Man raise his scythe to her. She watched the plae gleam on the curve flash in the night. She took a few steps back as she drew her tongue across her now exposed fangs. The metallic sweet taste of blood filled her mouth as she readied to curse him.
She watched as he staggered breifly as the radiation energy struck him. A smile twicthed a the corner of her mouth as she saw Radon. In a flash he was by her side, with Alan in tow. She felt a wash of energy coarse through her body. She could feel the light start to bend as Radon granted them invisability. Knowing that they needed to move, thanks to her father's military knowledge, a battle tactic formed in her head.
Unfurrowing her strange wings from her back, Celes silently took to the sky. No gust or wind betrayed her movement. Circling around the Reaper Man, she hovered above his scythe's range.
If darkness will not work, then light must!
Her eyes focused on his robed form as she opened up the channel that flowed inside her. Swallowing the darkness that coarse through her body, The power of the Heavenly Hosts swam up from the depths of her soul. The cool, calming energy chased her firey rage out of her.
Sighting down her arm, she gathered a bolt of energy into it. The powerful bolt of white energy struck the Reaper Man in the back. She gave a silent flap of her almost etheral wings and repositioned herself, readying for his next move.
"Heh," Lord Raymond laughed getting up from the ground, slightly in pain,"Congratulations, that Scythe is pretty sharp. Lucky for you I don't have an armor to protect against negative energy yet, but don't worry, I'll work one up for you if you are fit to fight again another time. However if you want a new arm you are going to have to swing a lot harder than that."
Lord Raymond pushed off from the ground and brought his axe quickly accross the chest of Reaper Man. "Lets see you blcok this," he said as he swung.
Tank and Bull were hurt and ran away with their tails between their legs, but were blocked by a very tall man with a Rook on his chest.
"I am the Guardian Rook!" he bellowed in his deep voice. "I have come to assit you!"
Rook formed a solid Rock Hammer in his hand and swung hard at the ground forming an increasingly large crack moving towards Reaper Man.
Raymonds ax was held back by his scythe, then energy smashed into Reaper Man, the rolling ground caught him and flipped him up into the air. He felt the white energy more than anything else. He focused his dark powers and, to anyone atune enough to hear it, tore a hole in the universe and the universe screamed. He fell through the hole and reappered above Cele by following the sorce of the energy, "YOU [censored]!" And he brought his scythe down on her. He couldn't see her, but he hit resistance. He fell down to the ground and regarded the new foe. "Heh, so many prime parts, the doctor will be very ple-"
Alan had jumped out of Radons arms and into Reaper man. His claws ran across his face and pulled back his hood, his aim was ruined by his inablity to see his own body. His face was what you see on Vahzilok Cadaver without appering to be rotting, the three claw marks Alan left had a slow trikle of greenish brown icor. "What the hell?" Alan said as the robed figure torned towards him.
(OOC Note: I think Manofmanychars is about to miss another fight.)
(OOC: Just a note, in order to use the Electron Haze Radon would've had to use his hands so he would've set Alan down somewhere. Sorry I forgot to mention that, so just for the sake of argument let's say he put you on a mailbox or something. )
After launching his attack, Radon spotted the new hero who had joined the fray. With a quick burst of speed he was beside the newcomer just as he struck the ground with his hammer.
"Hey there Rooky, the help is much appreciated. Here's a little token of my appreciation." he said as he applied the same powers he used on the others, and himself, on him.
Turning his attention back to the villain, he looked just in time to see him disappear. He was looking around frantically when he suddenly felt the distinct energy of his own radiation. Locating the source his gaze turned upward, spotting their foe appearing in the sky above Celes.
"Damn, her blast must've really hurt him and now he's aiming to take her out. No time to warn her, gotta move fast." Radon thought to himself as he took off as fast as he could.
Moving at incalculable speed he ran up the side of a nearby building and leapt with all his might at Celes. Even going as fast as he was he was almost too late, shoving her out of the way in the nick of time. Unfortunately, the same thing couldn't be said about himself. Unable to dodge in time, Radon did what he could clasping the blade of the scythe between his hands slowing it down. He winced in pain as it dug into his chest, but he was able to stop it before it went in too deep. Suddenly, the enemy removed the weapon and dropped back to the ground.
"Arrrgh, dayum that hurts. Better me than her though." he thought as he landed on the street below.
Putting his hand over the gash he focused a radiation beam and quickly cauterized the wound. When he looked back towards the battle he found Mended Ribs back in action lashing out at the villain and removing his hood. Seeing the creatures grotesque face actually brought a bit of a smile to his face.
"Looks like some of Vahzilok's scum, good that means I don't have to hold back as much." Radon thought as he charged another proton volley.
Celes felt the tear in the fabric of the universe. Soemone was teleporting! She knew that feel all to well. Her stomach churned as she felt the rift open above her. She turned around and wrapped her wings around her body like a cloak when she saw the scythe come cutting out of mid-air. She spread her arms and prepared to take the blade, hoping her wings would still grant a slight defense. Her hands still blazed with white light. She knew her energy blast hurt him. If she could grab him as they fell, she could more directly transfer the brillant energy that coarsed through her to him.
She tensed her muscles, preparing for the hit. She could heal herself. She was not however prepared for Radon to push her out of the air. She felt his breath across her skin as he grunted when they colliaded. She winced as Radon attempted to grab the blade with his bare hands. She shuttered as it bit into his shoulder. She flung her wings out and barrelrolled to right herself. She sighed in relief as Radon appeared to heal himself.
He's going to be alright. Why would he do that? she asked herself, perplexed by the fact that he had only just met her yet he was willing to take the blow for her, no questions asked. Is this what friendship means?
She focused back on the robed being as Alan pulled aside the hood. She sneered at the grotesque cavdavorous face beneath. She once again drew blood from her tongue as she arched her hand out towards the Reaper Man. A wave of brillant light spread across the ground, searing him and knocking him back a few feet, but it passed through her comrades like a rush of comforting warmth.
She swopped down slightly closer and spat her blodd at his feet. She fluttered her wings as she drew back to speak her curse. Her voice was dark and haunting.
"May you feel the weakness in your bones and muscles that your cadavorous form portrays. There is no strength in death for the body decays much like your soul. Be that what you truly are, Reaper Man."
As soon as her words crossed her lips, her blood began to sizzle on the pavement. Red fumes wafted up from the body and quicky circled Reaper Man, pouring into his skin, bestowing the weakness and loss of accuracy her curse power held.

Reaper Man felt the white light flowing through him searing his fleash and bone. The [censored], I thought I got her. The bleeding wound was all he could see, but it was not where the white light had come from. Alan was a bit unerved by the flood of warm, comforting light, in his experience things like this are ussaly bad for you. Reaper Man picked himself up as the rush of light passed, he could tell someone was interfering with his attempt to kill Cele and he wasn't going to stand for it. Blood splartered on the sidewalk, he looked around for where it had come from. Then it turned to mist and went into his body, he could fell it affecting his body, he was very aware of it and could tell it was weaking him. He embraced Death closer, risking notice, but he surged with temporary power. He used it to silence tthe interfering hero, a flood of cold oblivion covered the hero and his power waned. Not now, hold togeather body.
Alan chared, trying to stop him a second to late, His claws cut into Reaper Man's cheast, no resistance, his claws cracked Reaper Man's ribs from the force. Reaper Man bent back, but he didn't stop. Weakened as he was he still brought his scythe down on Alan, it cut his cheast and pushed alan back. Alan's dark armor caught some of Reaper Man's wavering life force and healed himself with it enough to remain standing. He backed away, "Whoever got hit, are you okay!" Alan yelled, cars where stopping and people were gathering, he realised that a man in a cloak fighting thing that couldn't be seen was something that you didn't see everyday, even in this city.
As Buck and Tommy exited the ice cream parlor, they noticed the fight going on.
"He's undead," said Buck
"We can let loose with whatever weapons we want," replied Tommy.
"EVERYBODY DUCK!" they cried simultaneously.
Then, there was a repeat of their performance at the shooting range that afternoon, including the instant repairs to the local architecture.
"Did we get him?" asked Buck, as he stared at the empty crater.
"If we didn't, I'm going to kill him twice as hard," answered Tommy.
(OOC: No more fights on weekends, I keep missing them. Also, this may seem unfair for me to completely unload screaming metal death on Reaper Man, but it's what Buck and Tommy do. On an unrelated note, I beat RE4 this weekend, then beat the unlocked minigames, all of which unlocked some sweet secret weapons (by the way, the merchant's great, just thought I'd mention it). Try the Chicago Typewriter weapon. It's the RE4 equivalent of being Buck or Tommy. Add to it the infinite rocket launcher, and you ARE them.)

Raeper Man brought his scythe in the air to bring a finishing blow down on Alan, "I have never failed to kill a target before!" He grunted as he raised the corved blade.
"Who sent you?" Alan asked alittle bewildered ad he watched the blade. His invisablity sliped away.
Reaper Man smiled, Alan hadn't realised his was visable yet. "One for Reaper Man." He said quitely.
"EVERYBODY DUCK!" and then all hell broke lose. Bullets tryed to punch holes in Reaper Man, his dark armor stoped or atleast stoped some of them. The rest punched holes in his now dieing fleash. A single LRM Rocket hit Reaper Mans side and left a hole there. Reaper Man stil stood when the show was over, though full of holes and his arms hung at his side, his legs had got out of it fine. He stared at the two heroes. It was going to require more than that to finish him, not alot more though. Alan had figured that out and tackled Reaper Man just as he started to charge for Dark Star, "CELE, SEND HIM TO HELL!" He hope it came in time.
Gilth had waited for his nose to stop bleeding, he had been careless again. Whan it stopped he made a run for his room. He ended up pushing several heroes out of his way to get there. He pushed open the door and he realised he hadn't dropped his enhanced senses. The room smelt of dog, but his acute senses told him it had been two dogs. He throw the note on the bed closest to the door and wentr behind the other, he wondered who his room mate was, the old one had complained about getting it changed. He opened his bag and pulled out a box, it contained bath room items, shaver and things of that nature. He found a lacth on the side and pulled out the bottom to reveal a false bottom. The false bottom contained two blue vails...
(OOC Note: I'm going to stop right here to make this clear, this is not an illegal substance, it isn't a drug of anykind except of medicinal nature. He does want to tell anyone why he needs them and thats why he hides them. I encourge other players who discover it to think it is illegal drug, because thats much more fun than understanding.)
...and a needle. He started to inject it into himself, Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid.
Celes swooped down to stand behind Alan. She felt the weakness thrum through his body after the attack from the Reaper Man. She heard the shout from Buck and Tommy as she moved closer to heal Alan. She watched them draw weapons and she flinched. She was not a fan of guns.
Realization dawned on her as she saw what was going to happen. They were in the line of fire. Running on instinct, she stepped forward and pressed her body to Alan's back.
"It's just me, Celes," she whispered her soft angelic voice in his ear," Worry not Radon is fine...for now."
As she spoke her wings enfolded Alan into them. The etheral white bleeding to black feathers became solid as steel as she made a shield for them. She shivered against him as she willed the wings to hold against the onslaught. The metallic clang rang around them as her heart began to pound against his back. She gritted her teeth at the pain as she hissed her breath across his neck.
Hearing the silence after the chaos, Celes' wings fell back, hanging heavily from her shoulders. She staggered back slightly as she ready for the Reaper Man to continue his fight.
She still couldn't see from all the smoke in the air and it scared her slightly. She reached out with her mind to find the beacon of negitive energy that was him. If she could find him, she could heal Alan and herself. She squinted through the smoke, praying that Radon was all right.
She watched Alan tackle Reaper Man. She heard him call to her. She blinked at him for a moment. He was in the way, her blast wouldn't be as effective with him in the way. She ran up to them and placed her hands on an exposed portion of his body. The blue in her eyes bleed to white as she summoned her heavenly energy into her hands.
"And through the darkness came light, and the light was the hearld of goodness. Warmth of light chased the cold of dark away and banished it. I give you the light of my soul, Reaper Man, and banish you back to the realm of darkness. Feel the warmth of my life and fall into the cold of your death," she whispered softly yet forcefully, barely audiable to Alan's ears but ringing in Reaper Man's.
A brillant flash brust through her hands into his body as she closed her eyes. A rush of warmth and the sound of trumpets acompanied the energy burst. She felt a shard of her soul disappear as she stumbled back. She fell to her knees, breathing rapid. Her wings hung limply and heavily from her shoulders as she clutched the ground with her hands to stop her head from spinning. Her skin became cold as her breath became visiable on the air. Her body began to shake from the extertion. She gathered all the strength she could to glance up, her eyes returning to their natural blue.
The power rushed through and after years of running from it, death finaly caught up with him. He slumped and the broken body fell on the ground. Alan sighed with relief as Reaper Man stopped moving. "Why would the Vahzilock send an assassin after men, I haven't done anything to them." Alan pondered and then saw Cele, "Holy Shi, Cele are you okay?" He helped her get up and looked around the battle fei...battle street. Radon had become visable, he didn't look good, Raymond and some new guy looked fine, and late as ussaly Buck and Tommy had missed the fight. Peobly still paying when the fight started. "Radon, you okay?" and still Alans enternal smlie had turned to a grin, a thin one.
Celes struggled to look at Alan as he offered her his hand. She blinked slowly at him as her shaking hand took his. A wave of nausea passed through her as she stood trembling. Her knees wobbled under her as she clutched Alan for support. Her wings twitched as they still hung, slightly damaged, from her shoulders.
She breathed deeply, hoping to clear the fuzziness from her body. She exhaled slowly, watching her frosty breath float through the air. She shivered deeply as the cold still clung to her body.
She fought the urge to sleep as her eyelids began to feel heavy. She slowly and carefully rolled her head up to look at Radon. She winced somewhere through her slight shivering.
"He...he took the blow for me...Ppp..please make sure he's okay...he should've..just let me take it..why would..he..." she stammered quietly, finding it an effort to talk.
She knew she was going to be waylaid for at least an hour. Forcefully ripping and scarificing a piece of her soul took a lot out of her, literially. Her recovery time was short now though compared to when she first started using her powers. She would be helpless for a day or two. It scared her slightly at that thought.
I wonder what that means? Either I'm becoming stronger, I hope, or my soul is becoming much smaller than I thought. Less to attempt to revive.
"Hey, Celes, are you okay? I you're hurt physically, I can help. If not, I not an empath that specializes in repairing spirtual damage. I remember once, Tommy's soul was almost completely destroyed by the Circle of Thorns, and this guy fixed him like it was nothing," Buck was worried for the hybrid girl, as she lay on the street. "So, who's your friend, Lord Raymond?" asked Tommy, as he saw the large man standing near the stone tanker, "And whose dogs are those? It isn't safe to walk dogs at night around here. I could have a friend of ours equip them with weapons, he's good with technology." When the two realized they were both mentioning people they knew, they both said at once, "We know a lot of people."
(OOC: They do know a lot of people.)

Radon had just started charging his proton volley when he felt the power he gathered leave him. He knew he had been pushing himself, but he was hoping he still had enough energy to fight back. Unfortunately, keeping them all invisible to Reaper Man was taking more of a toll on him than he realised and healing his wound had drained him too much.
"Of all the times to be running low on juice. Gotta focus what's left on keeping the others hidden." he thought as he redirected what was left of his power to the fields surrounding himself and the others.
That's when he saw Reaper Man focusing his dark energies in his direction. He knew there was nothing he could do to stop it, with all his strength focused on protecting the others he couldn't avoid it. Bracing himself he watched as the world around him went dark and pain coursed through his entire body as he felt his focus on the others fading. Unable to see or hear anything outside the encompassing miasma he could only hold on and hope that his power held.
"Can't...give....up. They're....depending...on me." Radon thought trying to ignore his bodies limitations.
Even though his mind was willing, his body just couldn't take the strain and one by one he felt his hold slipping on the others. He mentally cursed himself as he prayed his teammates would be alright. Suddenly, the shroud of twilight dissipated and he had to blink to readjust to radiance pouring into his eyes.
"Radon, you okay?" was the first thing he heard as the rest of his senses caught up with the sudden change.
Looking up at Alan from his knees he saw the gash across his chest. Quickly surveying the surrounding street he spotted Celes' battered form. He could already feel some of his strength returning and without thinking he began focusing it. A shockwave of energy flowed from his body causing Alan and Celes to engulfed in a shimmering green glow healing at least some of their wounds.
"Ah hell...." Radon thought as his limbs gave way and he collapsed to the street exhausted.
"I'm....gonna..be....sore in....the mornin'" he chuckled as he mustered enough strength to give a thumbs up.
Celes glanced at Buck as she steadied herself with Alan's help.
"Your..concern is welcomed, Buck, but the spiritual damage is permanent. It is the cost I pay for being an exile and still accessing those powers," she replied, shrugging gently.
She found it easier to talk as her body began to recover slightly. She still felt the cold emptiness inside her that marked the loss of soul shard. She was about to answer the question of her physical state when she felt the wash of green energy from Radon. Her wings fluttered for a moment as the energy healed them. She snapped her attention towards Radon as he collapsed to the street.
Beating back the dizziness still clinging to her, Celes ran to his side and dropped to her knees. She was about to ask him if he was okay when he stuck his thumb in the air. She raised an inquizzitive eyebrow at him.
It's a signal of being okay, right? she asked herself.
"Why, Radon? Why take my blow? I do not deserve your...grace. We have only just met," she asked him, her voice a soft whisper swirling with confusion. She dipped her head down to stare at him with her icy blue eyes swimming with concern. Her wings casted a soft shadow across his kneeling form.
Alan took a seat on the curb, the crowd was disappating, just another day in Paragon City. He was amazed to find he had something in common with, what had Cele called herself, a herald. If he used to much negetive energy without stopping he started to damage his body and after that he started to burn his soul. For some reason it was odd to think that a Hybred between an angel and demon would have a soul, he did have very firm opions about religion, but he had never thought either had souls.
