Who Stands in Blyde Square

Just messing around with some fan fiction and came across a problem. Who is that big statue? The saluting guy standing in Blyde Square. Who is he?

Is there a guide anyplace that might have stuff like that listed? I can't just call him GoggleGuy.

I have decided.. since I've seen this question WAY TOO many times.. not that it's your fault..

That it's now the Tomb of the Unknown Super-Hero. It was erected there to honor the fallen who could not be identified.

Look at M1 in GC I always thought it was him, same goggles, same shoulder pads and same belt. (I think)

Bah. state the correct answer! See if I care! Here I had a great solution since everyone asks this and no one remembers.

Yes.. as far as I know, it's M1

My bad... didn't mean to belittle anyone, just stating my guess and evidence.

I always figured since it was called "Blyde Square" that the statue was a person called "Blyde". *shrug*

ditto, but I've never seen a confirmation. I figured it was either The GC statue but bigger or it was a similar hero named Blyde but never seen anything to convince me 100% one way or the other.

Bleh.

I can't believe they'd have something that big and not have any clue about it.

Double bleh.

In all fairness though, the devs probably know but they've never made it clear. Either way its fun as hell to climb with superjump ;-)

*L* I've always called it Blyde Statue when referring to it, so I'm going to guess that the hero is Blyde, too. At least, that's the name I've taken to calling it IC.. since I spend most of my ingame time under the statue and all.

Might just be M1 with a larger statue, though.
