I had a hunch he would win too. His costume was excellent and
didn't seem to fall into any of the other categories.
I think Scarlet Fist deserves some props for his prop.
And while she was only a runner-up, The Exfoliator would have
taken top honors in the 'Most Heroic Calves' category had there
been one.
Congratulations to all those who won and nice work to everyone
who entered. I think the stakes will be raised quite a bit next
year.

*grin* Oh yes indeed. I've hit up an armorer I know for the use of his lovely forge. I need the practice anyway.

You see, I fell in love with my alternate costume long ago but a month isn't nearly enough to hammer out a full suit & engrave the patterns I require...but over a year...

Imma be a hit at Rennaisance faires at the very least LOL.

Good luck with that, Demonica. Armoring isn't easy in the least :P Should you need any help, look up SCA armorers online. They would be able to give you a lot of good information, or even do custom piecework for you.
