I've noticed a trend, hopefully you've received pm's from these people. There are an alarming number of drow scattered about...one good friend of mine has at least 1 drow on 5 or 6 different servers...! Drop Web Priestess a line, see if she's up for anything. An excellent RP'er. Tell her Dynamo Girl sent you. 
I have seen a Drall Do'Urden (Drizzt & Cattie Brie's son?) on the triump server. So maybe there is something to a Spine of the world COH cross-over...

everytime a new game in those series comes out im flat out addicted and it owns my life
I think playing drow, or any fantasy character for that matter, in a superhero-based game is foolish and indulgent, and it seriously wrecks my immersion when roleplaying. However, I promise not to grief you if you promise to actually play a drow and never show your face when the sun is out.
lol i like you Phineas, as long as they rp constantly, it wont bother me. This is s city in the near future. I didnt expect drow. Yet there is medieval armor, so il let it slide.
I think with all the dimensional portals, time travel, and such, I can forgive a few orcs, drow or knights. Good Luck! R.A. Salvatore would be proud.
Can't say I like drow or any kind of elf. Give me an orc anyday instead, much more fun.
That said I can not see anything wrong in people bringing their favorite drows into this game. Several reasons
a They have bought the game, they can play however they like
b More importantly CoH is a magnificent setting for crossovers. We're a large community of Norwgian players (and growing) on Virtue and both I and several of the other players have brought to life some of our old pen and paper RPG characters (from all kinds of settings). For me it is some of the best parts of CoH being in a team where an Elven Archer fights alongside a Gunslinger from the Wild West while the Orc Barbarian and the Cyberknight go up and close

Alright. I am a major drow fan, so i created a drow character with the background story that the underdark was also being attacked by the villains from Paragon city and she was sent to help stop the villains where they start.
I couldnt wait for the villain expansion, so i made her now with the idea that "an enemy of my enemy is my friend" and what not.
I was wondering if anyone else is interested in making drow characters with me and eventually forming our own supergroup.
My character, Ardul'ae, is in Victory. She is only level 6, so i could make her in another server if there is any others interested in this idea.
