Nah, just something I made up. When Global Chat comes out, I might end up breaking off from my current SG to start up an in-game version of Tempered Steel. Who knows!

This was awesome!! I actually cried a little at the end... maybe I'm just a sap, but this was an amazing read. I admire your talent.

Slip where the heck was this post about you leaving town...? I can't find it anywhere in the FSS forums... is it here?

Oh, it's more implied than anything. Check out.. uh, I forget. I think "Tryptophan" on the FSS boards. Hee.

Bravo! I have read published works that were not a entertaining as this was. Perhaps someday we will read more of Sebastian's adventures in Paragon City? Thank you for sharing a wonderful story.

Sweet, this post hasn't been wiped from the boards yet. ::dance::

Thanks for the continuing show of love, guys! As for seeing more of our very own boy who wouldn't grow up, I've recently written up an outline to a story I was thinking of telling. I'm just afraid to, because:

a) I'm not sure I can capture the same magic this one seems to have,
b) Not sure there's much of an audience for it, and
c) I'm pretty lazy.

But I've started writing it, anyway. Whether or not it'll show up around these parts will depend on whether or not I can filter out the 90% of it that's going to be horrible.

I'm probably not the only one with this one my "favorite threads" list, so that I can add a post to it before Forum maintenance, thus ensuring it doesn't disappear!

You still have an audience, Slipshod.

Wow... just Wow!

((Looks at simple backgrounds for my four alien heroes.)) Humm, these concepts need a re-work now.

But before I get back to Paragon....
((Jumps immediately over to Family Ties (Story) for the next part of the Heroic story.))

Late as usual on my part to find the little gems hidden in the rough. I suppose you could consider this a free bump though. *grins*

Back to my point, that was simply a beautiful piece, wonderfully paced, to the point, and still leaving me wanting to know more. Hell, yours was the first short piece of fiction I've read in months (and the first piece I've read fully and enjoyed in about as long), and well, it gave me everything I've ever hoped to one day have in the fiction I write and the characters I create. To say you're a talented individual would be an understatement.

Now then, after all this hero-worship on my part, I'm partially tempted to join that Whitmoore Apartments thread of yours, 430 pages or not. Just not sure you'd want to be kept up by two apartments' worth of poorly roleplayed, poorly designed heroes and their small menagerie of cats. Not shoulder kittens, just random stray cats they've managed to pick up or notice following them home over the past few months. I think they're up to six now, and yes, I know, I'm evil. *chuckles*

Now then, carry on with the awesome-ness, and I'll be looking over your shoulder once in a while.

Hey look, I can visit the boards again! Keep writing. That's an order, kiddo.

Besides, as my faithful disciple you must spread love of Scathe throughout the galaxy. Get to work!

I just wanted to keep this up on the boards. I have to say that this was an amazing story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't wait to read the next one.
