I did the Legion of Orders base. I was a member Of LoO since its inception so i know how to work with bases regardless of prestige variations. I tend to spend a little more prestige on aesthetics but first n foremost is functionality. Putting everything one needs into the smallest plot possible to minimize rent.
  2. this is the Legion of Orders base on the pinnacle server...current plot size is 12x16 (small secret location).. we r currently ranked 20th on server the rent on this plot is 65k...btw some of the screenshots didnt come out right...

    LoO's base
  3. # SG/VG Name:Legion of Order

    # Public relations: Legionoforder.com

    # Peak teaming hours:we usually have players on till all hours of the night and morning...peak is around 3-7pm EST

    # Amount of PvP: We LOVE pvp... we spend alot of time in sirens and RV we frequently stock up on nukes in warburg. we Host pvp events from time to time. However, it is not a requirement

    # Amount of Powerleveling: We run farm missions mostly on weekends. Some weeks we PL more than others. It is something we try to fit in whenever we can... usually offered when asked for

    # Amount of Drama: Slim to none...if theres issues we try to resolve them as quickly as possible.

    # Size of Base: I dont remember the exact name of our base plot... and we upgrade it regularly so its never one size. We have all the port pads, 5 inspiration storages filled with large insps,.... raid capable base (yes we do base raids. However they are really buggy atm)..... We have everything that one would need from a base and then some. We have a way above average base...decorated very nicely.... we spend a lot of time on it

    # Requirements: earning prestige is not required, but recommended.
First promotion is at 20k stige,
    2nd promotion 100k stige,
    3rd promotion 400k stige,
4th promotion (last one) TBA (lvl 50 is part of it)

    # Other: We are very laid back and relaxed but we get things done... u need a badge we will help u get it... etc...etc... We have a good coalition. we are very friendly and out going. We do our best for our members. We frequently badge hunt and run tfs We do everything and anything.

  4. hey just wanted to let u know that gash in the axe set is a power that u have to take and it cannot be skipped and it should be added to the axe attack chain... otherwise thanx for all the info

We'll have to disagree on this I suppose. There is greatly reduced risk in this strategy for the Stalker and little chance for the hero to respond. I don't see this as a good thing.

Maybe you will see this change, no idea. I can remember Fliers and SJ'ers in the Arena being whined about because the SS'ers could not catch them and they were able to do "drive by hits". My solution to that problem then was TP Foe which I picked up on "every single character" (Hero and now Villain) at level 8, 6 on my Stalker.

    [/ QUOTE ]

One should not have to get a power to survive in PVP 1 power should not swing the tides of war. 1 power should not be the deciding factor when trying to survive it should be a combination.

    [ QUOTE ]
The difference in Stalkers is, their whole AT is based around "Stealthing". A good Stalker you will not see until you are face down. I dont see the difference in how they get to that point be it walking up to you or tp'ing in.

    [/ QUOTE ]

basically u just said as soon as a stalker looks at you, you should be dead.

    [ QUOTE ]
Dying isn't fun for everyone regardless of how quick the death is. Do you play a Stalker or is this all based off of "Stalker killed me, I dont like Stalkers"?

    [/ QUOTE ]

one should not have to sit around and wait for a stalker to attack , which will 90% of the time result in your death. and like u said u dont care if u die neither do i but as long as i got to play before i died. as long as i know that i had a chance.

    [ QUOTE ]
The issue is that, since running away is the most effective way to avoid losing to a Stalker, we end up with no-one fighting in PvP zones. Heroes move constantly and run when a Stalker appears. A Stalker has to wait for the hero to get bored of moving. This is boring for both ATs and doesn't help other Villain ATs to contribute to PvP.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    [ QUOTE ]
Running away is the most effective trick for "any" AT in the game when death is looming. I do it on "all" of my characters, this is not a Stalker thing. Maybe the lack of PvP is a Server thing not an AT thing. Last I heard Heroes were ruling the PvP zone on many of the servers so, not sure why the server you play on is lacking in either side. I have also heard that many Stalkers feel like they are not contributing much on teams because of their damage being weak after their initial strike. Seems to go both ways here too. Again, something I am sure the Devs are looking into.

    [/ QUOTE ]

further down u said u dont care if u die and here u say u run away. which is it? well in any case i have yet to c a brute or a tanker run from a fight that has gone sour especially if its a 1v1, but thats is my personal experience and im sure it happens.

    [ QUOTE ]
Sure, a Stalker able to land in a large prepared team and kill someone is doing a good job of Stalking. Doesn't make waiting for the Stalker to attack any more fun. Besides I've seen plenty of Stalkers happy to kill their target and die straight after. Would this be related to bounty?

    [/ QUOTE ]

    [ QUOTE ]
Sure it's related to bounty and choice and option and just about any other reason you can come up with. There are plenty of people in this game that do not mind death and a run to the hospital. Not sure why it shocks you to see it when you can put a decent price tag on that death in the form of infamy and SO's. I would most certainly die for a bounty. Does that make it bad or wrong? No, it simply means I do not care if I die. Doesn't make the death any less than what it was other than it's clear to you as my bounty, that is all you were.

    [/ QUOTE ]

ok that is basically saying u exploit a feature of the game. death should not end in a reward. that is an exploit in the game. every game has a penalty for death not a reward system.
  6. [ QUOTE ]
It's not a question of stalkers being overpowered. It's a question of whether the way the devs designed the Stalker archetype makes the overall PvP game more fun, or less fun for everybody, not just stalkers. I don't think we know the answer to that yet. If the PvP zones start to become ghost towns then we'll have a pretty clear answer. If they stay populated then at worst stalkers are considered acceptable.

    Nogala

    [/ QUOTE ]

That is a bit exaggerated i would say. i love playihng pvp because i enjoy fighting brutes and other ATs. However, stalkers make me frustrated at pvp but im not gonna stop playing because of some bad apples. Trust me PVP can be fun but when your just sitting in your base waiting for your team to get outa the hospital and a stalker comes by and drops you then gets sent back home from the drones that is not fun. Thats when it becomes abusive and an exploit.
  7. I think there is a glaring problem with stalkers its not the one shot kills or whatever its after that. After a stalkers drops a person they r gone especially if they have super jump or fly. they just run away and turn on hide and other invisibility powers. i know there is a small window of oppurtunity, but that is to small for lets say a defender to deal enough damage to drop a stalker. even if a stalkers fails to AS someone they still can get out of combat fairly quickly. especially if ur chasing one down and u do connect a blow after that your travel powers become slowed for a period of time that is usually to long to kill a stalker. any archetype should stand a chance against any other archetype. I submit to fix the problem or to even the playing field would be to make a stalker slow for a period of time after as, which would also fit into the archetype character. They would then have to be a bit more cunning in their attack knowing that they will be put into a delicate situation. Because ive seen stalkers jump into the middle of a group of 5 heroes kill one and still escape without anything to worry about. Yes there are tactics where u can protect yourself against their assasin strike but those r to limited and are based on situational powers. not everyone has an aura or perception, besides ive never seen an aura actually save someone from an AS im sure they can and do but it seems to me to be a very rare occurance. I could be wrong but i just dont c it. Im a spine scrapper and i always have quills on ive never stopped an AS because i had quills on. Even if I dont die in one hit from stalkers it usually take 2 or 3 but even so after just one hit that drops u to 25% hp doesnt make u want to chase down a stalker it makes u want to wait till ur hp is back. anyone who claims stalkers are fair and balanced seems almost ignorant to the power they possess. as a scrapper i usually do pretty well in pvp, but even if i drop 3 hours of play into pvp i can not get as many kills as a stalker, the battles r mroe drawn out and can swing in other peoples favor throughout the battle. Plus alot of kids play the game and they cant strategize against something that powerful. they dont even know what happens half the time.
