the actual number would be 23.
  2. good job at understanding my point.
  3. the issue with a grav/nrg is that any defense or -to-hit will destroy you.

earth/nrg is what i made over dxp, and it's one of my next three big investment toons (elec/therm, and a psi/em being the others). i have no issues with FOTMs, it's all about effectiveness, and you're not gonna get optimal performance from a grav/nrg.
  4. twixt was better than most of you.

Heh, now I gotta say it..."Back in my day, we didn't have all these fancy little dodads that made life easier! We had to walk 15 miles in the snow going uphill to school, both ways!"
eh even before the AE and the XP curve fix, my fire/em blaster took 150 hours to get to 50 with zero pl'ing until level 46 (then i mentored for a few sg friends).

    my first 50, a fire/sonic controller took 310 hours.

the fact that it took you 400-600 hours to get your first 50 does not speak well of you.

srmalloy, I don't know about other folks, but come I-16, I'll have absolutely no reason to use the AE unless I want to go run someone's story arc. I'll be cranking through paper missions solo set for a team of 8 on the 4th difficulty and in doing so, will be dumping all the salvage I get on the market for 250 inf a pop. I won't need to make cash off of the market because I'll be capped out on inf from running missions.

I doubt I'm alone in this.

    exactly my thoughts.

i16 will revive my softcapped fire/sr brute.

Just as close to soft-cap def as u can and work on ur regen and max hp. And after that you should be good to go.
    you're also a tardaloo fiteclubber.

    MM's in PvP?

necro is still better than anything.

the -to hit stacks like crazy with poison, storm and dark.
grave knights hit for ridiculous damage, especially when they crit.
and not having gloom = you're less than any other mm.
  9. where are you, curious observer?
seriously, are you deaf? could you not hear what everyone told you when you asked them what sucked about PVP in the ladder tournament? (DR inherent resists).

make a damn button and stop catering to the "no inspirations" fiteclubbers.
  10. also, i get aroused when people cry.
  11. out of every 10 people that rage, 1 threatens to arena me, out of those that threaten, maybe 1 in 10 has the balls to (or maybe even knows how to) show up to Pocket D.

half of those that show up, realize that maybe there's something more to pvp than a scrapper and brute standing in front of each other testing out different button combinations.

    and that's worth it.

    Defense & DR.

agreed. the only thing that i've been able to reliably hit a shield tank with is my fire/cold and a to a lesser extent my mind/thorns dom (not enough dps to take one down most of the time though).

    3) Well, that depends on the size of your budget.
    4) It still is a great one, though it isn't considered the best anymore.
    5) Anything Spines/ or FM/ and /FA Scrappers, Elec/ EM/ Spines/ Stalkers paired with /WP, /DA, Ice/Cold Corruptors(well.. I really don't think this works all that well like how it was before), Mind/ or Illusion/ Controllers paired with either /Rad, /SS, Mind/Psi Dominators, Psi/EM Blasters, FA/SS Tankers(and SS/FA Brutes).
    1. EM is still retarded powerful in siren's. I was two shotting squishies with a bad build on my em/sr a few days back.
    2. not /da. /nin is better than /da in zone.
    3. build for recovery + dmg + a bit of hp on a /regen so you don't have to run fitness. build for the same on a /wp so you can run leadership.
    4. EM, Spines, Elec. They all shine in different situations. I love my spines/regen though.
    5. mine? besides the spines/regen...
    a) well, my fire/cold corruptor is still a sick zone toon. yeah, i can't slow melee to a crawl anymore, but the huge -def, -res, -regen and -recharge are pretty damn good. it can also shut down a fire blaster and destroy it in most cases, which is fun (there's still a lot of fire being thrown around the zone).
    b) fire/elec dom. i've said enough about this thing already. 1530 hp and a 45% bonus dmg build is pretty unfair to a lot of squishies.
    c) rad/storm corr. horrible for dueling, but a lot of fun in zones, especially if you have a few good stormies to play with.
  14. erm, aren't you at most a level 15?
  15. dear silit.

i mf invented the fight club police, kk?

also... i've been able to keep the zone clear of duels for hours on end. it takes 30 seconds to respawn from a suicide run, heat ex and sleet last for 20 secs or so. that leaves 10 seconds for you baddos to pretend you're pvping.
  16. 2 hits or 5 hits, you're still gonna die anyways.
