I've been thinking of getting a new iMac lately so this has been on my mind. Between ultra mode and Steam launching on the Mac, I may be doing some more gaming (w/o bootcamping). Currently I'm using a 3 year old MacBook Pro. CoH freezes and dies alot and Ultra mode isnt so ultra for me.

Of course the eternal question is buy one of the current iMacs or wait for the fall upgrades which will undoubtedly have newer video hardware...

Last time I used my Credit Card to pay my COH sub...Visa flagged it as a suspicious activity and before I could say it wasnt they cancelled my card as compromised and reissued me a new one, which was a royal pain.

So I've been using Paypal since. Dont know if that issue would happen again if I went back to standard credit card, but I dont want to find out. So fees or not...I'll stick with Paypal payments.

Took a few months off, but the lure of I12 drew me back in. So I'm in the process of updating the guide, actually redoing it from scratch. But I will need some help. I have the RWZ and Ouroboros contacts and arcs jotted down, but I didnt spend too much time with my new SoA character on training room so didnt make it too far into the arcs. So if anyone has SoA Contact/Lvl/Location/StoryArc/Souvenir/Badge?/TempPower Info either PM or post it. I think that covers most of the new content since the last guide update in September, but if there is anything else new or changed let me know. I'll start up a new thread when I think its ready for primetime.

Oh...and for the sake of everyone's printers...this new guide will be in PDF form....

There are no choices with stroyarcs. Dont worry he's not offering you the 3rd storarc yet. When you have a choice between to 2 missions, and 1 starts an arc that mission should still be availible after you do the other mish.

CoH Contacts arent NEARLY as structured as CoV, and contacts are origin related in CoH. There is also far fewer storyarcs in CoH, there are quite a few guides out there if your looking for CoH storyarc info.

Cryptic learned the proper way to do contacts in CoV, I think if they had to do it all over again the current CoH contact scheme would be scrapped in favor of the CoV way. Here's to hoping they can do this in the future. It would renew interest in CoH content!

Not true. I only have the Pirate badge(50 ghosts) and was only given the 2nd arc. The only way to get the first arc is to get the badge and get her talking to you before lvl 10.

First off, the Guide is now being hosted here by the great folks at trueevil.org Since I cant edit the original post the geocities link should redirect you to the new page (but its a mess since you still end up going thru geocities so you get their ads etc.) Also the link in my sig will direct you to the correct page.

Maybe i'll add temp power stuff, didnt seem like people really "hunted" those, maybe some do. If people do i'll add them.
As for "sorta" story arcs, they have clues that make them seem like it is a story arc, but in the end no souvenir was given. Im not sure if these are broken or not really arcs at all, but better safe than sorry. I added them.

Also I have a new host for the guide, so I can move it off of Geocities, i'll be doing that also tonite.

Unlockable contacts are just random contacts who wont give you missions unless you have a certain badge, requirements are listed in the guide. No contact will introduce you to them, you must approach them yourself. I will soon be adding /loc's to all the contact listings, but until then see Hermod's Guide for more info
