Doors and lobbies. Fixing two birds with the same stone. As was noted earlier almost all the doors look the same. To remedy that insert them in building lobbies. All the lobbies could easily fit within the small foot prints of existing buildings and then use the AE window tech to retain it's physical connection to the city. Once inside a lobby you have access to 3-4 mission doors or maybe just an elevator, and emergency stairwell. This could be a nice opportunity to throw in some artistic flair or quirky security and secretarily characters. Imagine walking into a building where you have a mission and the security guard shouts out "thank god your here they are up on the 23rd floor. Hurry!"

In other topics updating the store windows and matching them to the appropriate signage is a plus in my book.

Also please add a distinct restaraunt that is "in front steak house" and "up up and away burger"

hmm, I think I've got to bring my blaster to this one. Maybe not, my characters tend to be magic or natural or muts so the cyborg theme doesn't really fit in.

I've looked into some stuff like this before. namely in the area of building a set of stormtrooper armor. For the boots a lot of guys buy large womens boots...many others, paint a pair. I think if you get the right paints you could get a pair of mickey's from an army surplus and get them to be the color you want. I would think that a latex based paint would work but i've never done anything like that before so i couldn't tell you what kind of paint to use and i can't recall what the guys generally use to paint their ST boots. It might be a lot cheaper than getting a pair of wrestling or boxing boots. You may also be able to stain the mickeys, but again no idea how you'd go about something like that.

I think the most important thing you can do for the zones is update the textures like Bass points out. Give them the depth and intensity that GR is recieveing. Give the buildings some more character. Color the windows (in indianapolis there is a large building in downtown that is covered in gold tinted glass, it's absolutely blinding in the morning) all the glass in paragon is the same shade. It's not wrong but it'd be an easy way to add character to some of the buildings. Tinting the concrete to some different shades of beige or grey could also help diversify the zones. I'd like to request a building that is a beautiful shade of sky blue, with a badge that reads..."there is a reason there are no commercial helicopters in paragon" (bonus internet points if you know the reference)

I don't know that a zone redesign is in order. It doesn't make a lot of sense for some of these zones to suddenly recieve the massive amounts of money to upgrade from concrete jungle to glass utopia. unless paragon were to suddenly host the olympics or some other large event that would draw in a massive amount of people to spur an urban renewal. (herolympic games?) At least give your updates a little back story. A plaque, a badge, a note on the main page. Doesn't have to be much.

Outside that I think more street signage and some "lived in" touches would give the city a more alive feeling. Lived in touches could include things like patio furniture, cheap deck lights, an animmated bus system (we've got the stops where are the busses?) or even a taxi system. Say, during the war the busses were all destroyed and the depot was originally in boomtown or even eden. That would be an interesting addition to either of those zones. In eden you could say the station was only recently uncovered from the DE spawned forest, thus it's lack of prior existance. I think the train stations could use a little bit of remodelling to better match the zones they are in.

I'd love to see an outdoor market with lots of civies and watchfull PPD and then just beyond the shop stalls in the alleyways you see the criminal pressence hellions or skulls or OC and trolls. Galaxy city would be an awesome place for this type of market. I could see something like this in FF too especially around the fountain. There's no safer place to be than a place with two very powerful heroes (many more visiting all the time and enough protection wards to shake a sizable stick at.

I think going through all the zones and updating a building or two for every patch would be a nice gradual way to improve the "cities of" in the right direction. My 2 inf...more like 8inf but hey.

i just started working again. consider me on stand by. my work schedule is from **** crack in the morning to noon, and i'm having trouble adjusting. i used to me awake from noon to ****-crack so it's almost a 180 shift. (or pi for those that are against cake)

I think extending the nasal opening down will help there. And then the brow as you mentioned. Otherwise I think you could attribute any other differences to the genome. Very nice work and interesting process. Now if you can make/add in the facial features you can become an Angela on Bones, having that kick *** holo-projector would be nice too.

There is a compatible cursors option in game now that you may find beneficial DC. My drivers were up to date, till last wednesday (about then) when 10.4 drivers were released. I've not looked into the problem a whole lot. I'm planning on backing everything up and jumping to win7 sometime this week. There'll be plenty of worms to deal with in doing that, a whole can, i should imagine. So i was going to save the trouble shooting till then.

In the mean time i've not been on much cause i've been rather involved in a game that can not be named but not because it's an unholy aberation on the face of MMO's but because they'd boot me if i make mention of it. Anyway that ended for the timebeing so i should be back to bumming around LFTing PB to 50 (45 so close yet so very far)

I was about to bid you all goodnight when my game crashed. It doesn't seem to like doing the higher level detail shadows or higher ambient occulsion levels. (4870 if you are interested in that sort of thing)
