So it occurred to me that various art agencies keep a list or database of stolen items for reference by art dealers and pawn shops.

the 1st and 3rd link allow you to list items, the interpol link seems more along the lines of historically significant items, but maybe there is something in there that will let you list your pieces.

If the crook leaves the san diego area it'll be next to impossible to find the art. The best thing the community can do is canvas san diego pawn shops. Those i believe will be the most likely to come up with the art. Assuming it wasn't a crime of opportunity, in which case it was more likely taken for keeps.

Looks pretty good. took me awhile to figure out what was in bay's hand, then I read your post. And then I had to remember what a tonfa was...no fair using weird words this early in the morning!

I've wandered in there before, s'alright, i think aggelakis makes a pretty vaild point. The thing is, I view the forums at work so i can't really watch movies...of course i'm not spose to check out the NSFW stuff either but it's 7:30 in the morning. Also no sound. So aside from pictures all other art is kinda wasted on me. It'd be a shame if the video folks got drowned in the shuffle of art, it's not fair to their efforts.

Guess we'll see how it happens.

Sometimes when closing the game down i get this "flash" of what i was doing anywhere from two minutes ago to up to 15 minutes ago. Usually, it's me having just loaded a new zone in the flash (exiting a mission door or popping in and out of oro) it's all very strange. I really can't understand why win7 and vista behave this way. I would expect that the print screen "program" would just take the next screen in the video buffer and save it, why it censors or modifies any information is a mind boggling. I posted a request for help thread about this in the help forum. hopefully that'll net a nice result.

So as some of you may know the print screen function in winV/7 is a wee bit borked. What did you do to fix it? I remember seeing a thread that covered some details on this awhile ago but can't find it any longer.

Currently my symptoms are as follows. hit print screen...resulting screen is grey where COH should be. Occaisionally this happens when I use the snipping tool as well, when it freezes the screen for snipping the whole screen turns grey. It's not a driver issue. I have the latest drivers for my video card. The snipping tool works ok...sometimes. A planned screenshot is generally not a problem. When I want to take a picture of something 'right now' it's not good enough.

What can i do to bind/macro contort or twist my print screen button into working the way it did in XP? I hit the button it drops a bmp or jpg into my screenshot folder, or even my pictures would be fine.

Thanks for any help. A global fix for this would be really awesome devs.

Redside has always been contact light, I think that is primarily because they implemented newpapers. They never expected anyone to stick with contacts. I always kinda assumed that 8 or so newpaper missions were considered a contact in each zone. <shrugs>

my problem is that the snipping tool is not "oooo pretty!" friendly (stop what i'm doing open the thing oops image i wanted is gone.)

LJ since you seem to know whats goin on could you write a tut for taking screens in win7/vista for the rest of us? Or anyone who knows how to make the printscreen button work as it did in XP.
