this is not meant to be a necro, but asking what types of enhancments i should slot kat and will. i don't have access to anything but dual origons and the first single type enhancments you can get near very low levels.
so if you told me to use this IO and this SO i might be confused as to what to add to each skill? like accuracy, damage, health ,recharge, health etc -

its been since last november that i last played CoH. so some things need to be refreshed.
all those who knew about me asking 10000 questions about more builds than liked, should be relieved I'm only going to ask about my katana/willpower scrapper.
that is , i plan on sticking to my scrapper untill max level and all missions and everything have been experianced. so i know how everything works.
instead of hopping from character to character.

but my main thing, i have mids. i know it does not show enhancements that won't fit said power. so that kinda narrows it down a little.
but on the skills that need a certain amount of acc or dmg to balance it right, i come up a bit short. so if you can tell me what all effects each skill needs, then i can figure out dual origins, single origins and invention enhancments. so use the base enhancements like accuarcy is need or damage, or recharge reduction, or health etc.

im sorry, ive spend the last 15 minutes trying to post small sections at a time, part of the dxdiag has symbols that the forum does not like.
i don't know how else to do this but than having the logs in a zipped folder on mega upload -
I seem to be having a memory leak issue with going rogue.
when the game is going it starts off using 500-600mb of ram and steadily increases in excess of 1gig or more of ram
i will link my dxdiag and hijack this files.
had to zip them and upload to megaupload because it gave me errors pasting them into code wraps.

I don't see how I'm missing out on the game, I read every part of the story arcs that the npc's give me, I don't power level, I only team if I'm having a huge problem beating a mission.
and farming for me, i would farm after all the story arcs are said and done. and after ive done all the raids a few times so i get more of the end game story. Still don't understand how that's missing out on the game. -
well i expect things to get more exciting when i get golden dragonfly.

never said i was mad i only had 2-4 attacks to use, you misunderstood that. I meant that using only 2-4 attacks on any single mob is what is making me kinda bored with my main. i was expecting to have more than 2 to 4 viable attacks for mobs. Don't get me wrong, that might change around higher levels, i was just giving my reasons for wanting to try a new build, generally one good for farming.
and i was using d2 as a reference to describe how i love to farm things, had no intention of linking that thought to damage or kills. -
Yeah i have a Katanna/willpower at level 20, but at the moment he is kinda boring to play. That's one reason i wanted to find a build i could get up to 50 with that would also be great at farming, that way i don't have to level a second character up to 50 if i want to farm so i get inf for alts etc.
The main reason though is the fun i have when i farm in rpgs, and if i had a solid farming build, I'm sure i would not be as bored.
Katanna/willpower as it stands i use gamblers cut followed by divine avalanch if i go single target, if i have multiple surrounding me, its gamblers cut, divine avalanch then flashing steel and lotus drops, so right now its pretty much 2 to 4 skills used unless i feel like using build up on tougher mobs.
don't judge someone by what they have fun doing, unless its morally wrong. and right now i don't see farming as morally wrong D:
its just a second layer of fun i will add after hitting 50, and i mainly solo arcs so i can revel in the story. but sometimes i feel like joining a party too.
but there's no reason to get uptight over my playstyle -
I enjoy farming, that is my first reason. One thing i did plenty of in diablo 2 was farming with an MF sorc. Influence is just a secondary reward.
and i don't see how some of you are getting upset over something as simple as this.
if this thread upsets you, then by all means don't pay attention to it. -
ok i found a fire/kin farming build, how would i slot this with training or so/do's? I'm asking this because every build i find is slotted with io's and i don't know where to go to find out how to slot this before i can start using things besides just plain 2 accuracy, 2 damage, 2 hold etc for the slotting.

so what archetype is fire/kin ?

Ive looked around and found a site on the net that shows slotting basics for fire melee, but i can't find any on secondary shield. I'm talking about basics in example as " 2 accuracy 2 damage 2 end redux"
if anyone knows how to slot normal training and DO's on shield secondary, let me know. I don't need to know how to slot end game enhancments yet, so please don't suggest slotting for those yet because my soon to be made fire/shield scrapper will take a while to get there -
So with the new issue and expansion, would electric/shield scrapper still be the best thing to use for farming recipes and valueable SO's and IO recipes?
also, where do you guys farm? -
Well since I'm not so good at making builds yet, I have decided to ask to see if anyone has any fire/ice builds made for the secondary ice, at keeping the player alive.
I don't know if fire/ice blasters were changed with issue 18 or not, so i might as well ask about that as well.
I was told ice patch is the main secondary skill that keeps you alive.
also i welcome strategic conversation here. -

OK i modified the build more. So let me know if anything looks better put in another place. This is meant to be a survivability leveling build, so i did not add enhancements yet. Ill wait to do that for when i make a end game build.

ok i found a sonic/mental build, was not in the guides section, but i found it on the forums through google.

my biggest problem with some of these builds is they only show level 50 enhancements, so that always leaves me wondering how i should place enhancements. -
Well solo when i can't find a team, but that is obvious.
as for enhancments simple training enhancments before level 12, then at 12 i want to start using Dual origins. then when I'm able to use Single origins i want to use them at that point. then when i get closer to 50 i plan on frankenslotting. I plan on my origin being magic.

It only shows slotting for late game enhacments.
so i would like to know what to use in my skill slots for the fire/fire build?
example, would i want accuracyx2 damage x3 endurance reductionx1 on most of my attacks?
not sure how i would add enhancments early game or what to shoot for -
So i hear blasters are walking corpses in a sense they die easier than other classes.
So I'm looking for a blaster class that can dish out pain, but still have a bit of survivability.
ive looked over the primaries and everything looks fun in it's own way.
I'm guessing swapping out travel pools for health and stamina would keep a blaster alive longer? or could i squish in fly with health and stamina? or would that be impossible? -
i should have said in the begining that i did not make the build myself, i got it from the guides section. i just wanted to know about the power pools. I see how it makes sense to take stamina now.

So i thought an electric/shield scrapper would be fun. I found a guide for it, but it only shows how to enhance with io's etc.
I'm looking for advice on how to level this beast and what to slot with bought level 5-50 training enhancements untill i get to 50 and buy ios and such for the build i found.
