So in this post: I vent.

What the hell is wrong with people?

No seriously, I know some of us find the 'other' forums discomforting at best; and generally avoid them... but USUALLY I manage to do OK with the rest of them. I know its probably better for my blood pressure if I DON'T go out to General or the Comic section; but there are some very cool people out there that I do like...

But today, and the last week, have been so full of morons I just want to freaking BREAK SOMETHING.

Not naming names; but WTF!

Worse still - most of the arguments have been because Person A) decided to be a complete JACKASS; and was called out on it by... well... everyone.

Then Person B decides that people are taking things 'too seriously' - because apparently NOTHING on the internet can be serious! I mean; its not like there are PEOPLE on the freaking internet ya know? People who might have feelings; and don't feel like being insulted or abused by others? Yah, THOSE people?; so Person B decides to try to defend person A.

WTF kind of stupidity is that?

Its dumb enough to have one guy pull a complete boneheaded move and get ridiculed for it; but then having someone defend it is just... beyond the pale.

And then there's the stupid religion/politics threads cropping up all the time in the comic section... I wouldn't have a problem with that, but not one single one has gone without SOMEONE exploding into some whacked out rant.

WTF can't people just discuss their opinions in a CIVILIZED manner?

GAHHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I seriously want to take the forums and break them over my knee right now.

But thankfully I have the art section <x.x>; where people are friendly and not douchebags.

Sorry for this rant; but I'm just so pissed off right now <x.x> had to get that off my fuzzy chest.

Also, I highly recommend that WetCanvas website if you get the chance; it really is a great place, I've been on there for a week now and have gotten some really nice support.

I tried a completely new coloring technique this time; I want to hear your opinions on it; cause it was a very different experience creating; and I had a lot of fun with it; but I want to hear how people think the effect turned out.

I've always liked the "Dark skin/silver or white hair" look; its very striking; and it looks great with that metal outfit!

I do wish we had some good boots and gloves for it though >.< oh well! Congrats to you!

I like it a lot! <O.O> I know better trained eyes will turn up more; but if you want a little bit of critique:

The only real problem I can find is that the breasts are a little low. The seem to be almost down to her stomach.

Other than that though - I think its great! <o.@>; Seriously, good job!

I agree with Plasma on the colors.

Gold and white definitely fit the "Angelic" Theme *BUT!*

I've seen too many people fall into the trap of using *just* 2 colors. Part of this is the fault of the costume creator of course, being as you can't have 3 colors per costume piece (if only!); but trust me, adding a third color in would give an otherwise solid costume a big boost!

Overall though, its a nice design and a good start. I'm going to have to ask for some opinions on Thunder Valkyrie's new costumes soon myself >.< so many interesting things come out of these threads!
