  1. As the dev said, pets don't count, so you gotta knock skulls yourself. buffs/debuffs also aparently dont count or count so little that it just dosent matter.

    Masterminds gettin the shaft cause they bring their own team. Dev love at its finest.
  2. Before the patch I took both my stone/fire tank and my Bot/Dark Mastermind. and both were able to kill him by dragging him into the lava and beating the snot out of him. Admittedly my mastermind had it easier because I could send the bots off to kil his clones while I held his attention, whereas my tank ahd to run around killing the clones then doing a quick lava bath.

    Is this no longer possible?

    no wonder the mastermind seciton of the forums is being ignored by the DEV team
  4. I far prefer the way it was to the way it is. getting melee pets into range was not a big issue. getting ranged pets to stay ranged. IS
  5. I have a bit of a beef with the programming for the pet AI and heres why.

    I play a Bot/Dark Mastermind.
    I summon my bots
    Equip and Upgrade them
    Turn on Shadow Fall
    Target the nearest mob (usually one in the middle of a spawn to maxamize AOE damage)
    I press attack
    My bots all turn in one fluid motion and fire their alpha.

    (so far so good)

    Then my lovely bots, who have laser pistols in both of their shiney little claws run up and begin beating on the group in hand to hand and not another shot fired until their done with the enemy their engaging.

    Why they dont stand back and keep firing like they used to do, I have no idea but its been going on for a few issues now and its making it increasingly hard to keep my pets grouped for heals and buffs. They have long range attack, they should use them. not pistol whip the enemy.

    always seems to affect the number 2 attack drone first but the others follow suit within the span of a few seconds.

    I really do hope a "DEV READS THIS" but I know thats a long shot.

    so.... any other masterminds suffering from this problem of "punch happy pet AI" syndrome?

  7. Me and a group of friends wish to try and make a close Clone of the original Freedom Phalanx and I think iv got the main power sets figured out but I need help setting each individual guide

    Statesman: Invulnerability / Super Strength / Leadership / Fitness / Tanker
    Maiden Justice: Martial Arts / Super Reflexes / Fitness / Fighting / Scrapper
    Vambrace: Energy / Energy / Flight / Fitness / Blaster
    Elementar: Storm Summoning / Electric / Defender
    The Dark Watcher: Illusion / ForceField / Teleportation / Concealment / Controller

    anyway I am up for corrections on this but what I'm really after is a nice playable set of guides up to 50. preferably NOT IO slotting, just SO slotting because were all a bit on the poor side.....

  9. The way I see it you have options.

    3 respecs from trials
    respecs from vetrans
    respecs from new issue launches
    respec from rare (VERY) recipe

    and if by some fluke you have exausted ALL those options, then dropping a quick 10 bucks cant hurt. for those players that have been around way too long.

    besides somketimes Im just not in the mood to run thru a 2+ hour trial.

    Minor comment from a bot/dark Mastermind. The AOE heal on the dark set still roots.

    "We are aware of the issue and are currently looking into it, please be patient and bear with us."

    BUT

    thats a good ol copy/paste. I prefer the more personal touch that Lighthouse brings as it shows hes more the a Dev, hes a Hero! (or villain)

    I love my MM I have the Pistols and I find they do decent dam. But I have also found that If I put My Thugs and Enforcer in Passive /Follow They respond better. Really good on a Mayhem Mission and as soon as you are through the banks door set to Aggressive attack my target They work pretty good for me. I have not lost a Mayhem mish yet this way.

    I just fly directly to the bank, enter, summon, kill. with twilight grasp set to auto and my first bot targeted Iv yet to lose a single mayhem either
