Here's a general rule of thumb for those of you who are still trying to figure it out. If it's something you wouldn't post on the forums, you'd probably want to think really carefully before saying it on VU. And if after saying it, an op/mod asks you to stop, it's probably a good idea to stop.

And for those who are operating on secondhand information from the incident, here's a piece of information that has been left out: one of the offenders posted a link to a pornography site. One of the things we have to consider as op/mod is whether things said in the channel is something we want to expose minors to, not just whether something is offensive. Granted, we're not perfect and sometimes we're not always there to enforce the rules. But we're doing what we can.

Bottom line is... Please be responsible with the things you say.

They had to revert the EU test server to i16 (presumably for testing). Speculations I've heard so far are either a fix to a pretty big exploit or new booster pack.

Whoa, I didn't expect that post to be looked over like this in its own thread, must less posted by someone whom I've had some heavy disagreements with in the past. Thank you, BH. But I don't think I have much else to add to this as some of the responses already covered what I would have added.

I miss the days when Jello Shooters was actually a Protector channel.

I miss the days when the server actually had spirit, we had a mascot, we had things like Robot Rampage and RP Task Forces (Not my thing, but still thought it was cool), we were a server of doers.

I miss the days when this was a close-knit community.

I look around today and is a little saddened. Jello shooters was silent for a good portion of the evening. I see people complaining and I see few stepping up and doing things to better the community. WTH happened to us?

I blame global warming... since Elric isn't here.

OK, we had to call quits on this raid in the interest of keeping everyone's sanity. Here's the series of events leading to that decision...

1. Hami spawned after a handful of monsters so our EoE supply was low.
2. We were low on peeps to begin with. Barely making the requirements for each AT needed.
3. First bloom went smoothly, but then we lost a dom because he had to go.
4. Second bloom got really ugly as a result, during which we lost one of the raid leaders to a power outtage (Vega) and Sooner took over leadership for that team and held it together.
5. We had to have a couple people switch to doms to make up for the deficiency, but fact is, we were hovering between 30-35 people and we just needed more peeps.
6. We managed to push through the second bloom, though with much difficulty.
7. During the third bloom, we lost one of the brutes to a separate power outtage.
8. We made another attempt at the third bloom, took inventory of our remaining resources.
9. We had a consensus among the team leaders that a push to finish would be too costly.

So I think we'll stick to hero raids for a little while because that seems to attract more players (last hero raid the hive was full).

Ever since Ouroboros was introduced, I've had/heard about more crashes zoning in Ouro than any other zone. My gut feeling is that it has to do with toggles/pets people have running while standing next to the portal. I have no way to prove that without figuring out which power combination it is. And well, the memory leak theory is just as plausible. Hmmm..... now I feel like I'm just PLing my post count. I'll shut up now. Oh, one more thing. Arbiter Kim really should give him/herself a forum title, being a red name and all.
