Let's go with MM.

Quote:Brute will probably end up on either the yellow agro team or the spike team. Two quick questions.
1. I've never done a redside raid before. What team would a Brute (DB/WP) be put on in a redside Hami raid?
2. Are bio weapons not needed redside?
Bio nukes are not "needed" but greatly increases the chance of success and speed of the raid. -
Hehehe, we had a full hive. Great raid. So great that I wanted to try to skip the last bloom. Didn't quite work, but practice makes perfect. We can drop blooms like they're nothing now. We'll be moving on to more advanced raiding tactics soon. Thank you to everyone who showed. We'll be raiding redside next week.

Quote:7 out of that 18 are corruptors. From the one team pic I can see, was the raid 75+% corruptors?
Not that it matters or takes away from the feat, but just wondering.
We wouldn't have enough melee for the yellow mito's if we have 75%+ corruptors. You need a balance of ATs for it to work. -
Today we pulled off an 18-man proof of concept raid villainside. Proof of concept meaning that we cleared 1 bloom and proceeded to spawn the second bloom (doing all 4 would had taken too long and some of us need to work in the morning), so given enough time we could complete the raid. This was our very first attempt at such a feat and we were pleasantly surprised at the result. After a couple of really bad entries and strategy adjustments, we were able to down the mito's with minimal casualty. People who participated in the raid are (in alphabetical order by global):
Revenant Commander @Arachnos Commander
Private Misery @Blazing Tiger (Not pictured/had to leave early)
Nexus Project @Elric
Dam Skippy @Garcia Vega
Real Man of Genius @Huron
Avaritia @Impyre
Lyrina Kyton @Ivansshade
A. Muck @Kegan
Red Spawn @kidengineer
Killer Psi Master @Magnum the Menace
Bounty-Killer @Major T
Yessu @Nomme
Rebal Gamer @Rebal Gamer
Sadistic Sam @Sammy Davis Jr
Joss @Sarabande
Excruciatrix @Sooner
Raelith @StormVyxen
Heart-Break @Trickshooter
Some of us brought second toons in to TP out in case of a wipe and to hole additional EoEs. Congratulations to everyone who participated. I do not know if this is a first or not. But it is still a substantial victory regardless. I'm sure others have more screenshots to add to this. But here are a few:
Hami is served.
Clearing the greens.
Green targeted.
Group picture before we spawn the bloom.
The assault begins.
Bloom, but we're fighting Hami to the last man.
Impyre is the last man standing.
The rest of the screenshots can be found here. -

The LGTF green mito's are borked now for an entirely different reason. Someone did something kinda boneheaded so they now require 50 mag of holds out of a team of 8.
-
I say someone at Paragon Studio should make Castle join a PUG LGTF. And he's not allowed to leave work that day until the LGTF is done. Oh, and no GM/dev powers allowed.

Quote:This is the bug that made the green mito's difficult to kill. So the fix should be in. But I'll check other servers for confirmation.
Corrected an error in Critter powers which could prevent them from being shut down in appropriate circumstances. Good examples are Reichsman keeping his max Resistance despite being shot with the Dimensional Grounding Ray, Green Mito's in the Lady Grey Task Force keeping their Healing Aura despite being held, and some critters retaining Hide when damaged. -

Yes, I know we were gonna do a red raid. But with the last failed raid, I'd like to pick up some momentum before going red again.

OK, we didn't have enough damage output to drop the greens. The fix is on test and should hit live the next patch (Presumably Wednesday). Hold on to your Warburg nukes.
Correction: We'll raid Hami blueside next week and red the week after. -
You're still targeting. Scrapper isn't the only kind of damage out there. That and a healthy dose of damage resist debuff to amplify the damage helps too.
-
Also, here's a tip. If you got EoEs in storage, email them to yourself or someone you know that will be at the raid before the raid.

Yes, I'm aware of the raids on Virtue. They got through the first raid just fine and hit a road block on their second raid. This was villain side. They were able to clear the first bloom after a small revision in strategy. But then the leader decided they should try killing hami through all 3 remaining blooms (they were able to kill hami through 2 blooms in the first raid). Without going into details of what happened, this is the result:
So while it is possible to ignore blooms, it is something we're not ready for *yet*. Bringing all 3 warburg nukes would be helpful if their uses are coordinated. I believe nearly all of the raid leadership core will be present for this raid (please correct me if otherwise). The green mito bug is not a problem if we get the same kind of turnout we did last raid. So I'm not going to cancel the raid, but rather, let the community decide whether we proceed or not. In the meantime, I'm also gonna consult with raid leaders from other servers to see what their take on the issue is. -
Without additional commentary on the OP's state of mind (Yeah, I'm no fun), as I understand it, you get a set amount of inf back for your enhancement:
Synthetic Hamidon/Hamidon: 0
TO/DO/SO: Derived from table, about 2x the inf you get from a store/quartermaster of the appropriate origin
Common IO: Memorized crafting cost
Set IO: Just the full crafting cost, it doesn't matter how much you paid for the recipe, how purple or orange it is, it doesn't matter how many hours you sat at the door of the mission your friend farmed in to get the recipe.
Any questions? -
That's not it. Holding them will drop the damage resistance but not the regen. So, more damage resistance debuff and damage will be needed to take out the greens. Still very doable, but more people will make this go quicker.
-
Just a FYI, we're gonna need a full Hive to pull this one off. I got confirmation that the green mito bug does not only apply to the LGTF Hamidon, but the real Hamidon as well. It doesn't mean they're not killable, we just need a full raiding party to do it. It is unlikely that a fix will be on live this week as they seem to have a much bigger fish to fry. I do not intend on canceling the raid on this news alone. Will keep everyone posted as things develop.

I believe the person to ask is Trickshooter.
