  1. My main alt, Gunny, is an AR/dev/Mun blaster and I´ve now got a lvl 34 AR/Traps corr, depending on the build I´d say its alot about controlling the enviroment or where and how u fight that will make the builds enjoyable.
If you go with chelseas build, which I believe is the one closest to where i am at, I´d go for single target attacks on the early lvls. then when you have flame+full auto you can handle any mob your lvl. Throw down caltrops near a bend or a corner (recommended), aggro the mob and pull back, then as they bunch up lay it on with flame then full auto, then perform victory dance (optional).
Also the single attacks like burst, slug and snipe will be very usefull in PvP combined with "telemining" (teleport foe on caltrops+mines+pooh gas traps)...and perform victory dance.
regarding travel power, blasters and corrs arnt gifted with an over abundence of hit points. So Í´d get hover and flight to be able to go in any direction and tp foe and teleport to guarantee a way to get out of trouble faster then you got into it.
AR´s end drain dosent seem as bad as fire but get stamina at 20 (recommended).
    tactics is great for pvp.

    ce tout.

good luck withthe build Aerys and hope you enjoy playing the toon whatever build you decied on.

    AR/Dev in PvP

My first toon when i started playing a while back was an AR/Dev blaster and thou I`ve been trying to come up with different working builds ( and often failing, yes chels ^^), dont forget to try out different powers and and see how you like them.
Should you have a respec available, copy the toon over to the Test server and try out a build or two.

One power i must promote is teleport. tp foe + mine is very effective, slotting the tp foe for both ACC and range and as Tyl said when it comes to slotting the mines.
I would recommend gettin teleport self if you cant fit it in the build cause it gives you battle field mobility.
Both in PvE and PvP I´ve found that its not always a bad idea for a Blaster to be able to get out of trouble faster then you got yourself into trouble.
  5. Day by day, kicking all the way, I´m not caving in....to anyone that tries to stop me from going to the Tailors.

Yes its Gunny, that vain, arrogant, self described hugenott swede.

    Adding to previous information i must mention that;
    - there WILL be a manditory style check, performed by me.
    - should any potential volonteers fail said style check that strange senation in the seat of your pants will be my Gucci´s up your behind.
    - You must be fabolous
    - You are not allowed to be more fabolous then any of my toons, in any way.
    - PM me when I´m in the tailors and I´ll throw a hizzy fit of which the likes you´ve never seen before.
    - Donations to the "Gunnys Maintenance Fund for the fashion challenged" is always welcome.

A select few will be invited up to my tree house in Arthur, bring Infamy.

It's a shame some people feel like this but I've experienced similar numb-nuts in PvE, (yeeeesss.... the likelihood is you will have more chance of meeting these in PvP) but they are in the minority.

As you can see from the posts, some good people hang out in these zones too, "Lest We Forget" and laughs are had.

I love the PvP experience and I guess you can ignore, put on ignore, argue or deal with it however you like.

I've tried most methods of dealing with these daft people and I happen to be exceptionally good at arguments, not just the red-faced tirade types, specifically the balanced, calm explanation types that can pick the opposition's case to pieces, which often leads to /em tailbetweenlegs. The plain old fashioned silent treatment can work wonders too, some strange fun can be had here, Mua ha ha ha!

The way I see CoX is the way I view the comics and most movies, you have the hero & the villain, with it comes the mandatory repetoire e.g. a well known web slinger & his 8-armed nemesis, Austin Powers & Dr Evil etc. When I'm in PvP it's my duty to playfully taunt my foe just like the above mentioned. It can be done to hilarious effect and makes up the character! Most enjoy it, those that don't, I'll usually stop (coz it's not the same without a witty retort) but I NEVER swear, accuse or victimise someone because I can carry the banter out with some class.

Raise your glasses for hero/villain banter but frown & petition on those that spam broadcast with abuse & foul language.

Ever tired to apologizing to someone in PvP situation? After a heated discussion about trash talking in Warburg, with several parties included, I replyed to a comment not intended for me. As this was pointed out i said somthing on the lines of:
    "Oh, I misunderstood, I´m sorry".
    The reply came swiftly:
    "no your not"

At times when everyone wants you to know the size of their sword I guess an apology (or an acknowledgement of the size of said sword for that matter) just might be to much for some to understand =P
