About every few days, I log in and record the avg price for a number of lvl 50 recipies and crafted enhancements. My spreadsheet then calculates the delta minus 10% for listing, 500k for crafting and about 1M for salvage .... Viola! I know which recipies I should go for.

Anyone use something more complex?

It's against the rules for me to describe your level of intelligence, so I'll just pass on that.

The reason I would make three times as much money is because of the instant (actual) black market that would crop up. I would be happy to leave bids out to buy up all your Hecatombs at 50 mil a piece. I would then advertise my wares to the BUYITNAO crowd (the ones who drive up prices into the 100s of millions already) for gradually increasing prices. The more of the market I controlled, the more profit I would make. Those same individuals would then give me an even vaster profit per item, thus doubling or tripling my take-home profit.

The only people who would lose out in this equation would actually be farmers and market suppliers (which, in some cases, would be those exact individuals you're trying to help).

You haven't seen market manipulation until you put a price cap in. Then, you'll really see what my giant bankroll can do.

I made 10 billion inf this last year on the market. I have complete faith that I could double that if they put a price cap on items on the market. I may be able to triple it.

Simply because it's unfair to those who aren't using that powerset. I'm not one who gets upset by the fact that it's unfair (I've yet to ever complain that my Claws Scrapper's underpowered, even when statistically, it was), but I can be rational enough to recognize it's unfair.

The kid who sits next to you in school is named Tim. For some reason, he's been in every one of your classes your entire life. Also, for some bizarre reason, every teacher really likes Tim just because his name is Tim. You work hard in school and pull a 3.5 GPA. Tim does nothing but show up to class and gets a 4.0 GPA. Tim gets more invites to honor societies, special awards, and gets more money in scholarships than you do.

Now, did Tim actually affect your GPA? Nope.
Was it unfair that Tim got treated differently? Yup.

It doesn't take amazing skill to be good with PSW. You get invited to more things, you get more rewards for your time, and you kill much, much faster than other Dominators. Not because you're skilled, but simply because you had the right powerset name.

Now, if it only took 2 hours to have a new kid, name him Tim, get him through high school, and get the opportunity for all those awards, would parents start doing it? Of course. So, at that point, should the administration address the situation? It's not actually affecting the performance of any other students, but is it something that should be fixed?

Currently, on Test, is a fix that only gives Tim a slight curve on all his grades instead of a massive advantage. What would you think if parents balked at such an idea? If they felt their child deserved to be given a free ride that's unfair to all other students just because it had been that way in the past? What if they threatened to take their little Tims to another school district?

Personally, I'd laugh at their melodramatic attitude and not even bother to bid them farewell as they took their temper tantrum out the door. Your mileage may vary.
