glorious final, brilliant tournament and for the first time in my 27 years england are champions of the world in something i care about!

my goodness we are good in the field! i've never seen england as consistent as this in so many departments.

and yeah going along with some of the other guys on here i've got to say the aussies look like the team. maybe thats just the usual english negativity though!
we have played some brilliant cricket and perhaps i think we have the better bowling attack (more control, variation etc) then the aussies. clarke bowled himself when it all looked a bit wonky yesterday! but they surely have a better batting line up its awful close though!

@Elementar - I understand your point there, but you're comparing chalk and cheese. The mobs in DA are SUPPOSED to vulnerable to fire and were designed that way. The MA was not supposed to become a farming paradise, and wasn't designed to be so.

i completely agree they never intended it to become the monster farm it is. however the list of weaker mobs that give good rewards goes on, just picked that as it's uber fun.the real point is people did that before MA the devs gave us the chance to choose what we fought so why the shock we chose to fight stuff that was "easy xps eleventyone!!"
i agree with you totally _evie_ this is not the way it was intended. they must however share some of the blame rather than looking at their creation and wondering how it got like that..... -
a dev introduced mechanic that allows anyone to create a map full of anything to play to their hearts content.
how is a map full of BP farmed with a fire tank any different from street sweeping those same mobs?
my point is that these exploits exist, they have been magnified by the MA but the over-reaction is rather unprecedented. either way its up to them their game after all... -

something had to be done it was/is insane but i can see a can with what looks like worms in approaching....
comm maps no risk mucho reward, maps full of lvl 51+ bosses slighty harder no? need quite a specialized team to take that down. therein lies my main point, i and i assume many others will feel that our definitions of exploiting may differ slighty from the increasingly naive powers that be.
many of us used a tool, many of us used a tool that enabled our xp/time ratio to skyrocket, this = good. as players most of us in one form or another want to maximise xp/time (that might as someone rather eloquently wrote recently)that might be as little as not talking that DE mish when council and freaks are so easy. exploit? no of course not. maximising xp/time? totally.
devs on the other hand want to maximise risk/reward. they dont want it so easy we become bored they dont want it so hard we never bother. that said who the hell in the veritable (but so far invisible) dev army thought the MA wouldn't get abused?
anyway easy come easy go i'm only talking personally about 1 pesky build that was just so laborious this was too good to pass up. think of all the other people who will swiftly leave (i am not in that number been here and will be here for much much longer) we do however need PLAYERS.
some people will of course argue "yeah we don't need that type" i would argue we dont need yours eitheranyone who plays the City of games is an automatic winner in my book whatever they do in game.
this game now more than ever needs players, if that means that a few 50s are still at 50 so farmers or whatever can carry on farming then so be it. stop MA kill MA do whatever you like i am worried what will happen in julyish when we aren't the only horse in town and we have just taken xp AWAY from the playbase! CO must be loving this announcement.
i am certainly not in favour of the insanity of xp on display recently or the imbeciles who have no idea how to do anything but want all the trimmings.
blame the "farmers" blame whoever you want devs it is my opinion that YOU have borked this release, and with so many tempting games on offer this is going to be interesting!
i personally ( not that it matters) don't blame anyone other than the devs for the current state of play. i think its fascinating to see what will happen and what they do. maybe they should start have a few "idea showers" about how they allowed this to go live? -

i guess it might just be me then as its not really about working out who has what but some of the costumes only really look "complete" for me with the shield/sword/rifle whatever it may be. would just like to scroll down the and be able to view the stuff they have. i dont think im making my point very well..... -

oh none at allbut then how much use was it for us to be able to rotate which toons were where on the same login screen? just bugs me when i log in. i want to turn off that particular internal monologue hehe

i know its not game changing but for me it would be a nice QoL thing as some of my weapon wielding toons look strange without them especially my shield toons.
what im after is a bit like in the MA where you can pick the pose you want a custom mob to have i'd like to pick the weapon displayed on my own login menu.
hope that makes sense a bit more! fair enough if its only me -

Bug Description: any power that is auto toggled (ctrl + left click) no longer fires if an npc is targetted. npcs must be either deselected or the power manually fired off. for those of us with click powers that like them autoed (im thinking rage hasten practiced brawler etc) this is annoying. Also auto powers that have fired appear to randomnly (although i've noticed it most in the MA) get their benefits removed. for example outside the mission active defence has fired when i enter the mish no longer appears in power icons on top right and combat attributes confirms i have none of the associated benefits.

i cant see this suggested anywhere else after a quick search so here goes....
i'd quite like the weapon models for characters displayed on the toon list when we select who to log in (dont know a better way of explaining that screen!).
we already have it in icon when designing and choosing weapons so i guess it must be possible.
obviously not essential but like that change awhile back where we could move the toons around said list its one of those things i think everytime i log in!

agree here i've just started playing my DB/WP (what else?)scrapper and i love scrappers and love regen even more but ive gotta say im enjoying WP just as much.
the regen aspect of WP seems nice enough and all the little passives are ofc very nice, as others noted the problem is dealing with "alphas" as you dont have a clicky +hp type power (dull pain) like you do with regen. there are of course ways of dealing with this tough helps slotting heatlth in your passive that boosts HP etc.
tbh all my scrappers are solo toons so most of them survive pretty well solo however fights i've had in hazard zones i've found regen and WP pretty similiar.
pvp i can't tell you i have no idea. give it a go though its up there with regen for me
