Off topic but if your really itching for a Boss 429, Jon Kasse ( http://www.jonkaaseracingengines.com/ ) is manufacturing Boss 429 components (his Boss 9 S-197 Mustang is bad **** ---> little know fact, the current Mustang is designed to fit the supercharged 5.4 V8 which is a tad bit wider than the orginal Boss 429, Kasse didn't even have to take the hood off the slide his Boss 429 in)

A compnay named Dynacorn is doing Ford authorized repop 67-70 fastback bodies. ( http://www.dynacornclassicbodies.com...9FBCollage.jpg )

So its very posssible to build a Boss 429 clone for way less than you could get your hands on one and probably about even or slightly more than it would take to restore some clapped out bucket of rust, provided you have the inclination to do so.

I'd love a '70 428CJ Mach with an M4, Shaker and the Drag Pack, but IIRC even the regular BB MAch's are at least 80k USD.

Anyways back to the subject at hand.

  5. Yeah thats a little to mechy

Y'know what would have been cool, somethig that sort of resembled the YF-23. Certainly not that large but IMO it could have certainly served as the basis for a more relaistic batwing.

  6. Arno would be in his 50's but he uses a powered exoskeleton so it would be 10 years of refinement or at the current rate of advancement his Mark III suit would have gone through the Epsilon variant and on to the Zeta provided he didn't do a clean sheet design and is workking on a Mark IV Alpha model.
  7. So this is what happens when Mender Silos fixes the time stream? As I recall in a oro mission, the Shivans landed in AP

When rolling 15-19 bronze, each ticket is worth an average of 13.9 k.
13900 x 4500 = 62.55 million influence taking that passenger put the Farmer out of pocket.

It takes a fairly charitable soul or one who doesn't understand the value of influence to be willing to take someone at such an expense. Conversely, it takes apretty selfish (or genuinely poor) soul to not be willing to compensate that farmer for at least some of his losses.

  15. Send me your stuff! I can always do something with all that influence, the extra recipes, enhacements and inspirations!
  16. I miss my rottwieler, had he still been alive he would have been imbude with the same hypnotic power as the hypnotoad and a stomach that would make a black hole jealous. Oh hell who am I kidding, he would have been an K9 Galactus.
  17. Well that just altered my time machine plans by a fair amount, so much for "outside of space and time"!
  18. I would don the suit as a hero, I think though I'd use it for reaslly big stuff like disasters of all sorts from extreme weather to say a ship sinking to terrorist attacks. I think my biggest problem though would be deciding how far to go? As a super would it be acceptable to say go free people who have been falsely accused of spying and could face a death penalty? The problem here is if I'm the only super on the planet and nominally based in the US what do I do when my own government is practicing the same policies?

and while I might play a vigilante in game, as a real world super, I wouldn't go on a killing spree in an attempt to make things better. I might trash your operation and deliver you to the authorities but killing would only be an option if innocent people were in immediate jepordy and it was a last option.

And what do I do about say my family? Where do I draw the line? I have a brother in the military and what if I see him on TV held hostage? Do I go in and free him and his buddies? Do I sit there and watch him die just so some hardliners can show they mean business? How do I tell my family I had to let my brother die because I represent something bigger than a bunch of ******* countries posturing over a bunch of useless crap?

Dang, getting all marvel superheroee there... sniff... sniff

Heh my employer uses the AS-400 system... err OS... err whatever you want to call it, want a link to thier employment app?

They like to update the AS-400 every coupla years and my regional boss tells me how they have shell out big bucks for folks to write code for it when they do.

Well I could get you to the 19th century as long as you didn't need cement or a steel alloy. I got 7 out of 10 correct.

I didn't know you needed a flux to make steel (well now I know < http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flux_(metallurgy > thanks to wiki ) and I had absolutely no idea what a rotary kiln did.

Well Electric-Knight would be pretty busy since his kill list would never end, he might slow things up about but greed has a way relentlessly breeding these guys like a bad FPS.

Anyways, I posed the question to a co-worker and he was somewhat similar to Knight, except my co-worker said he would do some real wrath of god stuff. He said he would pick a spot in the world and kill anybody who broke the law in that area in very public and gruesome ways. After he was mostly finished he would tell the rest of the world; "You had best fall in line because after I'm finished here I'm going to pick another spot in the world and if you want to break laws or not follow the rules you could be next".
  23. Start the world over you say?

Hoo hoo... your looking at the number one despot on the planet! I'd make Alexander the Great, Ghengis Khan, Ceaser and all the rest footnotes in history.

    Just playing devil's advocate here, but;

So your a muderer and a thief bribing the government in hopes of them allowing you to continue your lawless rampage without repercussion.

Not that I dont think there are times when killing is nessecary but this exoskeleton you are wearing pretty much renders you immune to anything any one of those criminals you listed could do to harm you. Where then is the justification in passing a death sentence when you could just as easily apprehend them and put a stop to thier activities?

All of the criminals you've listed might as well exist in infinite supply; drug lords, child pornographers, and slavers are a reaction to the need to fill those things.

What about the people who take the drugs watch the child porn and take slaves? Are you going to ruthlessly hunt them down and kill them as well?

And what about the pirates that were shanghaied? Being a pirate might not have a willful choice and could have been a do or die proposition.

And what about the terrorist? That seems especially nebulous since one government's terrorist, is another government's hero.
