There has been a lot of talk about this. I don't know what they were thinking either. I think they are trying to get a larger viewing audience to watch the Probowl, since they know that a lot of people watch the superbowl who are not football viewers. However, it wont work, only people who really love football watch the probowl, i know a few regular viewers who could care less about the probowl. Certainly, as u said, any players in the superbowl won't play in the probowl. There is also a lot of talk about the fact that both the super and the pro are in Miami (no Hawaii). iirc a lot of the players really liked the idea that there were going to Hawaii just for the novelty of it, etc. etc.
  2. Snowball fight !!!!!! In HELL.

Seriously though, what are your early predictions for who is going to the Superbowl?

I'll say San Diego and Saints.

I could see San Diego and the Cowboys as well. It is hard to say between the Colts and San Diego because both teams had a pretty easy schedule overall. I am a little underimpressed with the Colts despite their record because of their schedule and the fact that they got lucky against the Patriots. The Ravens are not horrible either. The Patriots (my team) had a slim chance to make it there this year considering they forgot how to play a fourth quarter. I think they had 3 pts in the fourth quarter total for the last five games combined! Now that Wexler is out they have a slightly better chance than the Jets. The Cowboys have gotten their stuff together lately and ofcourse they beat the Saints recently. So I could see the Cowboys in it. I just feel the Saints want it more.

What are your early predictions for who is going to the Superbowl ??

Common IO Recipies (by group): 10-25, 30-40, and 45-50. I note what levels I have memorized, what each one takes, and have it set up to tell me how much of each salvage I need based on the number and kind of IOs I want to craft. I enter the number, and it calculates the rest. It even tells me how much salvage I'll need to make all the IOs (letting me know if I need to have more than the 80 salvage I can currently hold), and after I enter how much I currently have on-hand, it tells me how many more to get.

Recipe Buy-Sell Prices: This just breaks Uncommon and Rare Recipies down by Level, and lists their Sell Multiplier, their NPC Resell value, and what the 5% fee for the Market is to list it at that price. I use that to gauge A) If the current rate is worth placing it on the market, or bad enough to just NPC it, and B) What I should ask for it.

Character Builds - I have each character broken down, level by level, telling me what power to take, and what to slot in it. After I plan a build in Mids', I then manually put it in here. This also keeps track of how many of what enhancement I need for each power.

My Character Listing - This is my main tab. It has all my characters on Guardian for both of my accounts, listing their name, primary powerset, secondary powerset, AT, and level. I keep a running count of the number of Heroes and Villains I have, and how many of each AT each account has, as well as how many of each AT I have that I activly play. Then, it does it again for my characters on Pinnacle. After that, I have a list of my Heroes and a list of my Villains, sorted by Level, so that if I need someone of a certain level, it's really easy to figure out who to get. Next is a list of all my characters, and what SG they belong to. Finally, I have a list of all the Primary and Secondary powersets for Heroes, broken down by AT. I highlight the ones that I've used, and denote how many characters have use that powerset. I have a plain listing of the powersets I haven't used off to the side, so that I can see at a glance what powers I haven't used. Then, I do it again for Villain powersets.

Deleted & New Character Builds - I always keep the builds of characters I've deleted. I've remade them any number of times, and deleted them again. And new characters go there, before I'm sure I wanna make them. There have been times when I've made a new character build in Mids', and it looks great. Then, when I transcribe it to this tab, I see all kinds of interesting things I missed. Very helpful.

Day Job Tracker - I list my Heroes, and mark what Day Jobs they currently have, and what they're currently working on. Then, I do it again for my Villains.

My SSK Exemplaring Chart - See Sig for details... >.>

IO Sets Listing - This tells me what IO sets I need for characters that are (eventually) going to get them, and breaks them down by set, and what parts of each set I want. I color code the name to denote Uncommon or Rare, and then color code the individual piece names to denote the type of IO it is, e.g. Yellow for an Accuracy set, Red for a Damage set, etc.

Praetorian AV Tracker - For my Heroes. Lets me keep track of who has a defeat of what Praetorian for the accolade.

    I Excel!

That is great news. "The Silence in the Library" was awesome, when the girl dies but her voice is looping that one line over and over and over, very dark and ingenious.

. . . I didn't know David had done any stage work, the only other thing i saw him in was Harry Potter. Well he did great as the doctor whether it was work for him or just a walk in the park. He certainly had fun playing the doctor, it showed in every episode.
  5. I am a big Christopher Eccleston fan so when David replaced him I was very disappointed, but I have to admit David Tenant did a great job. My daughter actually starting watching Dr Who with me, because one day dad was watching one of his dumb scifi shows and "wait thats the guy from Harry Potter !!!!!!", she has been a fan ever since. David has done very well and I believe this has actually expanded his acting capabilities significantly. My only hope is that the writers can reattain their expertise from the first season. "The Empty Child" and "The Doctor Dances" are by far the best eps ever written, IMO.

That's a good question u ask. I played a lot of tankers in the past, but now its been a long while since I made one, so I know tanking well, but i am not familiar with these secondaries. I guess im asking what meshes well with shield? Stone melee is very end heavy but you can get away with skipping a lot of the attacks. Mace recharges a little faster than stone but does less damage, etc, etc. What clicks well with shield?
  7. I was afraid that would be the answer.

    Thanks Fleeting
  8. does anyone know if red tomax city of data will or will no longer be updated? I noticed just today that there is still no electric tanker info.
  9. Elec or Shield primary, which do u prefer? And why?
  10. I am thinking about starting a shield Mace tanker, (I know there are a lot of them already), but I was wondering if there's something better?

I was also considering Axe or Stone.
  11. WOW Organica you are a wealth of information. I don't know if its true or not, but i like it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Who was the first player or their character name to say congrats when someone on the team levels? Anyone know? Or is it safe to say the name has been lost to history?
  13. I will repeat what a few people have already said just to drive the point home. Take Stamina, take it early. If you do you won't need to slot any end reduc in your powers. And yes slot for ACC before DAM.
  14. You forgot the best show on TV though "Fringe".
  15. I will wait until Feb then, lag is not an issue, i haven't experienced any lag, its the mapserves that kills teams.
  16. I realize it is Wednesday and this is planned for saturday, but honestly could you postpone this until after the winter event is over. Virtue is very buggy now. I ran a MoITF a few days ago and we were doing great, only one near death all the way through until at one point, on the hill with only 2 generals left the whole team got mapserved for like a full five seconds. Needless to say 2 people were dead when we could move again. Virtue sucks during the winter event, this morning I had my enhancements tab and my inspiration tab visible at the same time. Yesterday I went to the tailor and one of chars' shoulder rings and chest emblem disappeared when i hit "makeover". I dont think a MoITF is possible on Virtue now in any amount of time.
  17. And honestly if you set to */x1 with bosses on, you will not see many bosses while soloing. I have several mid lvl chars set on +2/x1, bosses on, and it is very rare that i even get three bosses in a single mish. Oddly +2/x2, bosses on, seems to spawn a lot of bosses (about every third mob).
  18. 3 lvl 50 IO End Mods will give u better "bang for your buck" "over time". I do not know what the % is. Honestly I think the % difference would be quite small.
  19. What time does the Hami raid generally end ???
    . . . I haven't done a Hami raid in yrs.
  20. Just as my grave knights got that purple Warden down to a sliver of health.

  21. 8PM Saturday MoSTF

    I have a

Ice/Ice Blaster that really wants the badge

    also:
    Invul/EM tanker
    Stone/Stone tanker
    Empath/Psi defender
    Earth/Kin controller
  22. I will try, may be tough for me today.

    Ice/Ice Blaster
  23. I have been on several failed MoSTF's myself and I would like to add two points to all the great advice already given.

The "Find the Real Security Chief" map is a pain in the A. Everyone kind of overlooks this mish because it is supposed to be the "easy" one, but really this one can be the most confusing. Everyone on the team must understand that they have to stay together and not move until they are tped to the next spot. Characters think being sniped at with little damage is insignificant, but they dont realize sometimes they are chased. Also when you start on a real chief mob, kill the "real chief" LAST, the ambushes are started with his death, not with the death of the last member of the mob.
This mission is actually the one that I have had more failed attempts than ALL the other mishes combined.

Second point (not a hard fast one, just IMO), no Khelds. Having to take out a Void boss or a Bright Nova in the middle of a tough fight is not fun.

  24. Yes that was it. Thanks to you both. I don't know why I didn't see it.
