  1. Has there been any word at all recently on fixing the graphics for Sonic so they no longer cause migraines/nausea etc.?
  2. I wasn't certain if I should focus on def or not, very little exp with elec outside of this guy and I'm still playing him, so NO high end exp.

  3. I was going for Single Target DPS, CS is nice for burst, but doesn't help me there if I couldn't fit it
  4. So originally I had this great idea in my head of the highest (or 2nd to /fire) ST dps melee toon with a S/L softcap to boot.

    Well I didn't make the S/L softcap, and I don't have anywhere near an awesome chain, so the build fell short pretty much everywhere.

    Should I sacrifice one for the other, or am I missing something obvious?

  5. I know that (PS) BB>SB>QS>BB>SB>CS is the best easily obtained ST chain (unless I'm mistaken), but wouldn't I be better off with Dark Blast in there, or is Mid's still doing that glitch with scrapper epics?

  8. Yea, I plan on stacking Arctic + Group Invis for the stealth + def + keeping the very nice resistances

    Yea, for now I think the 2 slotted stamina might be ok with the Miracle, but I'll see if things start getting dicey

    And this is the way I've been looking at it, though I may be wrong.

    On a team/larger team it isn't gonna matter how much illusory damage I put out, stuff is going to die plenty fast assuming the team is decent. But against big game the healed illusary is going to happen anyway, whereas the -res and extra target are gonna up my damage as a whole anyway (or the team's damage).

    Yea, I'd personally really like FW, but I just don't see room for it

    And yea, uncontrolled pets do what they do

    Thanks Boomie, I was gone from Dark Mirror until...a little under a month ago, so while I have incarnates on a toon or two, I completely forget about them when building a toon.

  11. All of the above and more. Solo, team force multiplication, AV destruction both solo and teamed etc. Though primarily leaning towards hard targets be it solo or teamed.

    Yea I was a little torn about Frostworks myself, but it seems like it could help teammates without great builds/accolades and maybe Phantasm? But yea I do like that idea a lot more...

    Yea the 2nd Zepyhr was a hold over from a build I did earlier in which I already had 2 so a Karma wasn't really worth it, but yea I'll decide if I need a 2nd eventually, but one should be plenty for now.

    Yea Ice looks REALLY nice as far as the attack chain and hiber goes, but my thinking was this. Poisonous won't fill out my chain, but is still damage and should add to my DPS atleast with more -res, disruptor is an AoE at least albeit not great, and with all my pets taunting and -res and it being perma the tarantula should be pretty freaking solid. Though my reasoning might be a bit off.

    Where can I drop the enzymes though? Just go Enzyme + 7.5 in a few of the toggles? And alright, I'll do that once I move some slots around. Will do, figured Infrig needed more slots but so many new builds I see have it just one slotted.

  14. In case anyone was wondering what I decided / how i've been deciding I'll update

    Rerolled the fire/cold to ill/cold since that duo died anyway, stuck with my lvl 12 rad/son and will level that, leaning towards bots when I give traps a better try, but undecided, still have my soldier i'll play but am leaning more crabish now, rolled a WS since I haven't played one anyway, and respecced my PvP build to a PvE build (still needs a lot of work) for my sonic/storm

    I really should give my fort another try or another build and try widow, but it just felt really lackluster even @ 29

    I definitely forgot about my storm, I plan on respeccing my PvP sonic/storm for PvE very soon, and that would be another solid force multiplier, and could probably shell out WICKED dps solo (though nothing great AoE wise)

    Thanks for the builds bloodbath, but yea not sure if I'd go fender, would have to see.
  16. Fire/traps or even bots could be interesting since in theory they can do plenty of damage, plenty of survivability, and in practice I haven't played a ton of traps anyway. Am I going to regret one if I choose the other?

    I keep hearing fire/cold and mine is 12 so far but I don't see how it can bring that much dam + survivability solo.

  17. I know what I want my next toon to do in theory, but only sort of think I know what it is.

    I want my next character to be the tip of the spear if I am teamed, but I also want to be able to be the entire spear if I want to solo. I'm pretty sure I want it to be a force multiplier of sorts for the trials/tfs/teaming in general, but I want the ability to solo just about ANYTHING I want as well. I don't particularly care if I don't see big orange numbers, would rather care about constant decent sized orange numbers. I also want to be survivable.

    I know with IOs and incarnates I can have plenty of tank mages, but I want to at least mage harder than a mage, if not tank harder than a tank as well.

    I figure I'm describing ill/cold, ill/rad, or rad/son but maybe there are a few gems I'm ignoring (traps possibly, just don't know...)

  20. So I feel like rolling up another melee DPSer after loving my fire/shield and wanting something new, problem is I want to assume I'll only be fighting 1 target (so dark will probably not be the answer? and probably not shield?) just because.

    Would my best bet be DB/SR scrap or am I looking at a broot?

  22. Thread title about covers it, figure I'll respec him for massive debuffing and storm fun, but not certain what to build for.

  23. I mean, even just for single targets they are more DPS though, you can't hate them that much can you? Veng would be nice, but eh, I won't miss it terribly

    Ribos for the best Res + End Redux numbers

    Yea, I'll probably go ion, reactive, warworks and then still torn on the other two.

    Right, but there will be a good number of times where DP will only hit one target (AVs etc) and that is when I want it to SHINE as far as +/- regen go.

    Infini - because I figured I'm going to use it a ton anyway, so while I use it might as well up my single target DPS, plus I won't miss the 7.5% rech that much

    What did I really sacrifice to get softcapped s/l def...? I've got perma hasten already, solid control, excellent damage...

    And yea I don't need the -recov on DP

    But yea the slotting/spiritual is much more for the -regen than the +regen, but I won't complain

    I should be able to solo avs w/o hoarfrost, though taking that instead of gremlins is definitely intruiging to me, but I'd lose a solid bit of dps...

    Yea, sort of torn between ageless and barrier, don't really see the point of rebirth with all this regen anyway (plus maybe hoarfrost, but I'm always up for ideas/suggestions)
  24. Changed a few other things around, but yea, went with a 4 slotted tactics now

    Oooh, I didn't know spiritual would also affect the regen, I might go with that then...

    And yea, I do really love reactive and ION, so will probably go with them, yea, will probably go with rebirth or barrier

    And yea, pets are pets
