why dont we all just go down the pub and have a beer, or, tidy our rooms, or do something non coh related and let the devs do whatever they have to do. All these issues and assumptions are just that until such time as we can actually get back past the login screen, and theres nothing we can do about it!

As my missus sometimes says, "just sit back, relax and enjoy" - and that happens about as often as a major 5 hour maintenance window.

Hmm - rubberbanding hits me occasionally - usually when I play in ultra mode but thats probably just me - cant be the computer coz its quad core with pukka gfx card etc!

Besides the usual lag valley in ITF, I can experience it either soloing or on a full team from time to time but it has gotten worse recently, and when closed testing is around, I give up playing even if peeps tell me the issue isnt test related.

Guess I can only blame it on solar flares, the evironment and anyone who walks past my window with a mobile phone in their hand.

Is anyone experiencing regular map server discos on zoning/entering missions or filed dbserver connections? Im experiencing all of the above at the moment?

No joy by me on union at the mo

So from this we now now Union and Defiant are out - any other servers having problems, and yes - log in screen just loops through connecting attempts and no further.

Aye seems to have fallen over - hopefully I wont be blamed for it coz I was trying to send an ingame email to avatea when I got the mapserver disco message

In the time it took me to write above post (with toon still online) , when I went to contact support, all my contacts and friends list had reappeared - then, came back here to type this post and guess what? ALL my contacts (inactive) except detectives have disappeared again!!

Just tried logging a further toon in - absolutely no problems!
Re logged affected toon back in and still the same problem - will petition ingame for rollback.

Affected toon - COTE (LVL50 Controller)

This has affected me too - by my chat log, it was 15.53 CET (in Austria).
When I logged in with my lvl50,(Ouro)I tried to buy insps from the contact by the water with no luck - the flame thing by him didnt work either.
Zoned to Talos (Wentworths was working fine)and then zoned to Peregrine via Ouro portal. All contacts were gone, and I had to visit detective to regain a radio receiver.
During that short space of time, I lost my friends list also.

I checked Zukunft and Defiant and had no problems.

All this was on heroes side.

By my reckoning, this would have been shortly before 2pm UK time.

I relogged with a different toon Lvl 12 on Union, and had no problems - I did not try zoning!

I don't know if this has been suggested or not, and if so, I apologize for cluttering up the suggestions forum with a duplicate suggestion!

Basically, when using the Hide or Unhide option, would it be possible to include an option to "select all"?

When using the hide/unhide option at present, having to click all the options could be simplified if the first option was "select all", therefore avoiding the need to click away at the list we have presently.

I know its only a small thing when one considers all the suggestions the devs have to sift through, but for me personally, its a cosmetic touch which would make me feel warm and cozy inside!

Thanks for your honesty, I appreciate that many people probably feel the same - I have enough global friends interested not to require much assistance.
I would appreciate any input from forum members on how they would actually slot this character, cost no object, and then see what the price would be to create the toon - I dont want to actually create it if it is uber expensive

Thanks for all the offers of help! What I plan to do before going live with the test character, is to see if any posts appear with enhancement slotting suggestions.
It would be crazy to go live and find I needed 20 squillion inf to build the character, when if I have an idea of the best enhancements to take, I could first get an idea of the costs at wentworths and the university!
That would also save players making donations to no good end!

So lets get a few suggestions online of the best enhancements to slot to make the ultimate character!

I am compiling a guide on building an ILL/RAD CONTOLLER, and I am using the Light Petting's guide for Ill/Rad (Syn certified) found at http://uk.boards.cityofheroes.com/sh...;Number=350917

There will be a little twist in using the guide though!

I plan to build and slot using the best enhancements at every stage, as if the price was of no object, and then compare the costs to another Troller, using JUST the inf I raise.
I will report back regularly if there is interest with the details to date.

If any one is interested, I need two things:

Ingame - if you see me - please donate generously! Recipes (no actual enhancements), salvage and of course, since price is no object, some form of funding will be appreciated!

Forum - advice from other players who have used the build above, what they changed etc, etc. Also, any suggestions on how YOU would build the character, and which you consider THE BEST enhancements to slot - price no object!!
