Any updates to this for beast mastery?

Quote:I'm going to share Techbot's sentiment. I might be okay with it during a very gimmicky boss fight, but as a general tactic of a enemy faction I probably would become QUICKLY INFURIATED. I know it seems like a fantastic idea from the perspective of a Brute or a Scrapper who is suddenly whisked away to valhalla to drink mead and crush skulls, but for any other archetype without built in mez protection it's like suddenly being ganked by a Stalker in PVP 4 years ago. Controllers, Blasters, Defenders, and the rest of their ilk all very much greatly depend on getting the jump on their enemies in order to come out victorious. Enemies with TP Foe will make the ambushes in First Ward look like a joke. A cruel, angry, relentless joke.
If you know what groups have it, you can be prepared for it. -
I agree with previous posters that there are going to be a small group of people who will complain about any new mechanic added to the game. However adding the TP Foe to certain groups, such as Knives, Raiders, and definitely to Pretorians could add a fascinating new element to the game play.
I'm not going to be able to participate on this week's freedom Friday on facebook, so if someone wouldn't mind asking this for me I'd love ya forever -
Quote:I think the main reason why they don't use tp foe is because they could get interrupted like we can
But if they got it; they would have "can't be interrupted" tp foe
Many spawns have things that can be interrupted, such as Rikti Communications spawns and Sky Raiders Engineers. -
Quote:I'd like to see more of all of this. There's some wonderfully exotic debuffs out there that seem to be shelved for -Def, -Res and -ToHit.
An enemy that phases YOU (I.e. Wisp Overseers).
Taunters (Mentioned before)
Enemies that teleport you around.
Wormholes (Mentioned before)
Chain attacks (Chain Lightning)
Even Confuse. It's seen more activity lately, but Confuse used against players is really odd, since it's more of a Hold (Since, when you're Confused, you can just decide not to attack). In my opinion, Confuse should make you a) Follow a random teammate b) Cast abilities at random. That would make Confuse something worth avoiding. -
Seriously, we need more NPC's using TP Foe it would ad a new interesting element to the game.
Giving some power boost and boost range would be cool too.
For example new Knives of Vengeance giving them TP Foe should have been a no brainier. Is there some tech preventing this?
For the record I would also enjoy being wormholed, as well. -

Quote:Question, I bought this with a superpack yet I'm not seeing it show up in my account items email. What am I doing wrong? When I went to rebuy to see if I did the transaction wrong, it said something about maximum amount purchased or something.\I'm pretty sure I specifically stated you *don't* need the power to join in and then gave instructions as to how to use the temp power
. I was throwing Flying Discs to anyone who came near.
Nevermind found it. -
Quote:Liberty says Yin thinks she's all grown up, but is not prepared to deal with Malaise.
Maybe not this SSA. Seems a little late to introduce her to the story except as a tease. But for the next? For sure.
There's a vacancy in the Vindicators for another psion, so why not. She has been training with Psyche, so it's fitting for her to be in that spot. Also, the stuff with the Clockwork King adds drama. "C'mon guys, he's not so crazy when you get to know him. OK he is, but...what was my point?"
.
NO! Put a signature Kheld in there damn it! Give it to Shadowstar! -
Quote:I notice (once again) Signature Kheldians being left out of major story lines.WarWitch's position is symbolic. The other characters are doing all the heavy lifting; she's just floating nearby. And no, you're not seeing everything--this is a cropped version of the picture (Note how Ms. Liberty's legs are cut off).
Would it kill you guys to have Sunstorm & Shadowstar show up every now and then? I mean honestly they don't even show up in the LRSF, really? They wouldn't be there to help defend Atlas Park?
I'm not saying the devs are Xenophobic but.... -
Quote:TPN has a crash bug that's been reported numerous times. Nothin' you can really do about it, honestly.
You could try a /petition and try and see if you can get the rewards at the end, but I'd be surprised if they awarded it.
That doesn't sound like a bug, that sounds like a "broken". -
When I logged back in with Joey H just now me and 7 other Incarnates were on a lowbie bank mission!
-
Was doing a TPN Incarnate trial on Virtue, had just gotten to the last Malestrom battle, was Mapserved, (nothing wrong with my internet connection as I'm typing this NOW while the issue is happening).
- Attempted to log in received, account is still logged on wait
- Tried again a minute later, tried to log in as Joey H, was told " Character Joey H is still logging out. Please wait a second, then try again."
- Tried logging in as a different character, got in.
- Tried logging out then logging back in with Joey H, received message " Character Joey H is still logging out. Please wait a second, then try again."
Thanks. -

Regarding the seeming endless need for clarion:
The following powers do -Special, which means they reduce the length of mezzes (including confuse).
- Weaken/Poison
- Benumb/Cold Domination
Also can Phantom Army ever be confused, even if they are cast when an illusionist is confused?
I just can't believe that the devs would have pigeonholed us into having to use large and constant amounts of clarion, there has to be a tactic we are missing. -
So when's the best time to find an Underground Trial on Virtue?

Quote:OMG I just asked for this in a different thread. I would LOOOOOVE to be able to pull the damn map, and the combat attributes windows off to my right side monitor.I've had this crazy idea rolling around in my head for months, and today I finally decided to post about it.
I've had two monitors for a while now, and it makes playing the game a million times better for me. I have the game on one monitor, and notes and other misc information that I use while playing displayed on my other monitor which is off slightly to the left of the main monitor.
So, I was wondering if it's even feasable to be able to move some game UI windows off of the main screen to the second screen?
I know that doesn't currently work, I'm just wondering if that's something hard to code for so that it can work.
I would love to have several windows that I use often just open all of the time which normally I don't because if I did they would clutter up the whole main screen, like the minimap, extra chat windows, scriptui window, /search windows, playernote windows, and several others.
Thanks for reading. -
Thanks for this guide, I have posted a tiny url to it many times on the virtue server, but apparently people are too stupid to read.

Quote:This is all true, except for the final fight, which is sadness mixed with hell.I found the UG trial to be fun. It can be challenging, but it was:
1. More interesting than the BAF
2. More leisurely than the Lambda
3. Less stressful than the Keyes
To me, it shows that the devs are learning from previous trials, and are making them better. I hope the trend continues. -
I'm apparently having to queue to get in now.

Quote:I wasn't TALKING about the end drain being useful. I was talking about the slows during the mindwashed run.I haven't found Gravitic to be any more helpful on my Elec^3 Blaster, to be honest. End Drain in this game is already mostly pointless -- if you're already at the point where it can be somewhat useful it's not going to get any better, if you're not at that point you never will be, so don't bother.
The Storm Elementals use generic Electric Blasts, and one of them has Short Circuit, but good luck getting it to use it strategically the way you'd like. -
I was wondering if we had any information as to what lore pets do the best end drain, I have a sonic/electric/electric blaster has gone up the gravitic tree (and wow is that useful in a BAF) and I'd also like to round him out with a pet that also does end drain.
I'm assuming the storm elementals do. Is there any other pet that does reliable end drain? Is there a pet that does it better?
Also, where can I get a list of all the powers for the lore pets. Paragon wiki seems....lacking. -
...of course after waiting an hour to post this, as I thought about it. 30 seconds after I post, I get invited to a Keyes
