I like all your styles LJ! =^_^=b Some people just do good work, you are one of them. Plus, I LOVE that piece you did for me.

  2. I think I've already said I like it, but I think it is better on some characters than others---for example, If I had a Golden Age character like Crime Hawk I think it would look really interesting, but for most SA or later designs until you reach the Modern Age (which is in many ways a call back to GA or Pulp style costumes) I wouldn't think it suitable. In terms of business I don't think one can offer too many options--especially if this is more of a bargain since it is a faster bit of work for you--and that this will appeal to many.

I hope that wasn't too confusing.
  3. I love the roughs they put me in mind of michelangelo's late sculptures.
  4. big gratz! This is pure awsomeness.

    I11 pics? Bah.

    From the original Beta:

    Rikti Invasion Shot 1

Follow seemed to have some troubles in Beta.

    Booyah! Another winner!

Wait until you start knocking Rikti through cave walls so that you can't attack them any longer...

    ...Because that's much less funny.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's true, but blasting them into fences so their heads are stuck and they can't fight back, but instead squirm and fight against their imprisonment till they finally die--is pretty funny. In a sadistic, almost evil sort of way.

    I need another hobby.

    Huh. Whoa. Deja vu.
    [/Keanu Reeves]

I've been in business units involved in acquisitions before, both as the acquirer and as the acquired. This could go very well for us as subscribers, very poorly, or unnoticeably. Judging by statements to effect of "we've got big plans" I don't think it will be unnoticeably.

I'm leaning toward hope over despair. In my experience, being acquired by another business unit that has in the past been intimately involved in your major efforts, if not your day-to-day operations, means the acquirer is coming into the deal with their eyes open and few or no misconceptions. When said acquirer also brings deeper pockets than yours and Ideas™, then exciting times are almost certainly ahead.

    Amusical?

The first version of the song seemed kind of out of date, this one seems so much more energetic.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Not to highjack--yes, the original is way overused here and elsewhere and it does make the video standout. I don't find this version energetic, rather more enigmatic I would say. I don't dislike it, it does strike me as amusical though, but Phillip Glass strikes me as amusical at times.

Nice work Juggy. I don't do PayPal because I've had too many friends who've been hacked through them. I don't even pay my bills or do my taxes online (and yes, I work for the IRS). Too many instances of spy/malware that has infected me has made me extremely leery.

Now, if an artist is willing to work with me to accept a money order, then I'm happy to pay for art. Just right now funds are in flux and I need to keep an extremely tight rein on my budget, especially with the baby due in less than two months!

    Maybe sometime next year. :-)

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, so far I've had nothing but decent service from Paypal - but then again, I look at it as a transfer point only. I think if anyone is saving any large amounts in it, they're running the risk of trouble.

Grats on the upcoming arrival. Mine is 5 months old now... and, well, it's not easy. lol

    [/ QUOTE ]

Same here, when I want something, I transfer the money in--takes about 4 days, and then spend it. I never let more than $20 ride there at a time.
  16. Nice video--with some really great moments in it. I like it, but that is an oddly amusical version of that song.

How long do your computers take to open a photobucket page ?

I hate photobucket, it always takes more than a minute for me. Any other site is good, but photobucket is absurd.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I rarely have trouble opening photobucket pages--- for me they load like all other pages.

That's the best laugh I've had in a long while--thank you. I try to tell middle and high school boys that they can't believe what they see in those magazines, but they won't believe me, I may show this to them--rude awakening that it would be--they need to know it.
