get the 2 basic worktables, you can refine a lot of it into components, eg tech material, arcane foci etc. These dont have the 20 item limit that salvage does. While not all salvage can be used this way, a lot can.

Yeah you can make a 3 x 3 room (eg 9 in total including portal room) base that allows you to do the cathedral of pain trial and receive the reward. However it doesnt look to nice. We had one of these and just sold it all and rebuilt base with varied size rooms and a bigger plot. Looks much nicer now

We went for the med lab first, simply because if your doing mission in PvP zones, go to your base hosp, when you leave your base, you will be outside your mission. Just saves time wandering around.

As for control, we have the arcane mainframe equivalent, and then another 5 bookshelves. To control all our stuff.

Think also as TG mentioned before there are certain people that get targeted heavily. I know when I am in Sirens, I actively look for defenders and controllers. Anything that helps keep your guys up, I wanna take down. Equally I know that I end up the other end of that stick too, being about as close to a heal/buff bot as villains get. There have been days when I cant make it accross the sea near the villain base before someone is trying to kill me. (Am looking at you Cota!!).

TG is pretty bang on the money, stalkers are squishy and you know the have to be beside you to get their attack in.

As far as balance goes that alpha strike is their AT's on ebig thing. Tankers big thing is their defence, its quite scary seeing how much damage a prepared tanker can take.

As for the TPing away? Well I think for most people with PvP builds teleport is rapidly becoming the travel power of choice.

TBH spotting stalkers isnt that hard, playing from the villain side, when an empath is around, I hear all the stalkers mumbling about everyone being able to see them. And they are pretty squishy. If you wanna see them take tactics, pop some yellow pills (accuarcy insps), and even hide+stealth can be seen. The important thing to remember is they are 1 trick ponies. Take a blaster with a well slotted snipe attack, who can see the stalker 1 shot on the stalker.

Think the way rep works is you get 1 rep for killing someone solo if you havent killed them recently. If they have a significantly higher rep than you, you also gain bonus rep, for being l33t enough to kill them. As your rep goes up obviously it becomes all but impossible to get bonus rep. So in answer to your question, yes there is still a point to killing you
(BTW if you shoot me a tell when your new toon is ready I can pop into sirens if you wanna test again)

But the moral of the story if your a hero is.....................kill Stalk-obot he will be worth loads of rep

Well while I do a lot of healing in groups, I also buff lots (I'm looking at you stalk and aria). But you will normally find me in the thick of the fight while I do it.
