You know you'll base will pale in comparison with the JLL's, so you might as well give up now.
Seriously though, any hints and tips in this would be most welcome as I'm also in the same boat (just a little behind Snowy on the river!). I've got my Power active and my Control is just about to go in. What's the next best step to take ?
And Snowy, when is Knight Arrow getting his parlour in the base for entertaining his lady friends ?? Oh and a recording studio for that snappy theme tune ?? And maybe an archery practice range ??
Dammit he's earnt valuable prestige for you and he wants recompense!!!

From playing about in my SG's base i have found a good tip for the small SG base is to only have one worktable present. If you remove the second table you should have enought power and control for the TP device (running off memory as away from the game. Ours has the power unit, main control item + 2 extra control boosts and is running a TP, hosp thing and worktable - second worktable can be run at the same time with no issues.
The reasoning behind the one table thing is that you can only use 1 table at a time and as you can sell them back at their cost price there is no penaulty for swapping them around as/when you need them (besides the time taken to enter edit mode and replace them). This also cuts down on the amount of power and control you need in the base as well as freeing up some more inf for those all important little touches.

Before your alt gets his own little archery range and hidden sherwood forest at the back of the BoTi base.

Ahhhhh if Knight Arrow were here he'd give you a hearty slap on the back, laugh in an Errol Flynn type way and say,

Do you think a workshop is a more valuable addition that say a medical facility or a teleporter ?
And when the Blaze workshop is up and running can Lady Rogue come and use it being as we are in coalition and I have access to your base ?

Thankyou for this info, was certainly contemplating this as you say it dont take long to switch workshop tables about.And would certainly reduce the current control demands.
Just still not sure of the actual demands of the teleporter room and accessories against the medical room and accessories control / power wise.

Guess its SG preference, at the time, depends waht they need. I went workshop so as i can make use of salvage to try make better items from the default ones.

Blaze workshop is operational, has been for a bit now.
And not sure if coalitions can use others bases facilities. - dont think so.
But you are more than welcome to drop into our base any time you want, we got a big tv and cozzy couch.

if i'm correct both the basic telepad and basic rez ring take up 50 energy and 25 control. On top of that each beacon to a zone (for teleporters) take up 5 or 10 control. We had to buy a few databases to keep up enough control to let the pads and rez ring running

K i have opted for the teleport chamber the infirmary will have to come at a later time.
Now have basic tp room set up with enough power/control to run it along with a workbench as suggested.
just a shame that when in editor screen it dont tell you power/control needs of items if you not have enough prestige to highlight it, be godd if you mouse over it even if greyed out that it would tell you this info. So as can plan ahead when base building.

We went for the med lab first, simply because if your doing mission in PvP zones, go to your base hosp, when you leave your base, you will be outside your mission. Just saves time wandering around.
As for control, we have the arcane mainframe equivalent, and then another 5 bookshelves. To control all our stuff.
Shoot me a tell if you wanna have a look, will drag you into our base if it helps. Is villain base obviously.....the best kind...secret volcano lair

Just rightclick it and select "info", even when greyed out it will then show the full info list. I only wished they would do the same for craftable items, cause the description always is pretty vague. For instance the holodisplay.. says it will increase output of control equipment, so i thought it maybe was a 10% increase of all output or so.. instead its just a weak control aux unit, which is almost as expensive as database but gives half control. Its cheaper with energy though...

Sorry was craftable items i was meaning, as i had the teleport built and had it in my inventory. But could not right click it to get the info of its power/control attributes.
And at the time i did not have a tp room, so before i placed it i was wanting to see if i had enough power/control in the base to make placeing it worth while.
Cause if i placed it it would have eaten up all my prestige to get the room at the time and the to place it only to destroy it. If i needed the prestige for power/control.
So till can find out these stats i was not keen to place it, hopefully it will come as a QoL thing for base building one day, The info on the items will get displayed

Was wondering what are the power + control rquirements of getting a teleporter room / infirmary.
Both with functioing basic items.
have crafted a teleport its in my personnel items inventory.
Reason I ask is we have now almost aquired enough prestige to place either room. But im not sure if will have enough control / power to get the room operational.
At moment we have
power 1000 - standard power generator.
Control (75 i think) main frame (50) + holodisplay (25)
We have workshop with basic table, and advanced table. (these take up alot of our control).
Might get shot of one of them to help in the other room creation , or should we get a database instead to try increase control ?
