While this thread is about how to order going rogue and then how confusing it was to read said post.

maybe setup to going rogue (what would be cool from a story stand point is that we caused this too happen)

Whether you can take advantage of it or not, Ultra Mode is a good thing all the way around. -

questions
1. when is the COH:GR Expansion available to pre-order? i keep hearing march but if march 4 is dbl weekend is that when it becomes available?
2. what is No prePURCHASE (retail can do preorders.) i've never heard of a game where you can prepurchase it preorder and put down whatever money you want on it sure
3. what is this COH:GR Complete Collection Item Pack i do i want it
4. im still waiting to see what will be in the box powersets, new zones, new storylines etc i know will be on box, still looking to see new end game on box. in regards to Digital the site where i order from i figure will have info. -
yep just got my 63 badge and like Minotaur i have done just about everything in game multi-times. although i still badges but it more of oh today i will badge some taking time off until most likely GR

so double xp weekend gives you duel pistols but not demon summoning interesting, is the end game a pay only feature i wonder because they keep talking about it as part of GR i think?

And yet look at the MMOs where people look different as they level - sure, at L50 you look much more impressive than you did at L1, but you also look like most of the other people who are L50. NOTE: this is my personal compass regarding this game and while people will agree with me there will be some who will not so plz dont flame me just because you think im wrong explain to me why you think im wrong period. also do to some people who seem to misunderstand the word VET im useing it as a form of time nothing more.
If people want to flame me for stating that i have been playing c.o.x for 5 years then that there problem not mine.
i think i see the problem where at lest it concerns me so im dropping the word 50th and replacing it with the word VET. also im thinking of using this my personal new risk VS Reward is Time Vs Enjoyment.
Example: As a 5 year vet of the game im so happy that there is new ways to play plus a new end game system that going to be put in place. although im thinking my risk Vs Reward maybe to high for this game. Since i have played this game for 5 years the risk maybe to great for my enjoyment of going rogue.
I know that some will disagree with this that fine but i feel that is my insight lately concerning why so many people have trouble staying in a game longer than one year. this will also help me explain to people why i have such a hard time playing certain stuff in game.
so with that in mind let me go back to I17
Ultra mode: Yes? it will make things look good but im not sure it will get me to play more?
New badges: THIS really depends on HOW the badges are implemented in game if it is Kill 5000 then meh
new missions: need a lot more info
new player emotes: that really depends
Epic Archetypes now available at level 20: dont really care
Improvements and additions to Mission Architect: OK this has my vet self looking interested and has reduced the risk to myself that this would just be another meh issue
Enhancements to UI and game systems: don't really care
And more: yes?
so personal:
risk: 80% that i will not play but wait for GR
VS
Reward: 20% that i will play it because it looks interesting enough to play

So they changed it. Does it cheapen it? Only if you're that narrow minded. Does it allow people far more access to cool stuff in the game? Yes. Does it make the game less 'grind for elite content'? Yes.
It also took me 15 months to get my first Hero 50, and maybe a bit longer for my Villain. And Im am glad that other casual players don't have to go through the rough ride I did to get the EATs. This was before the exp smoothing curve, and my Hero was before the debt changes. Not my idea of fun, for one thing.
One of the things i would like to see is maybe some way to tell the differents between char's a lvl 10 should look/feel different than a lvl 1 now while the player can tell this can you the player looking at another player tell that?
i dont know how that would be done i though maybe through looks but since 90% of the looks are open to anyone that dont work too well. oh well -

What you "went through"? You played a bloody video game! You talk as if playing CoH was some incredible, mind-numbing chore and as if EATs are shiny unicorns that cure cancer and AIDS.
As you can tell from my tone, I of course disagree with both. I like CoH, and as much as I like EATs, they're not super ATs that invalidate the other ten. I like to think you're quite into CoH yourself, considering you're paying to play the game and even posting on the forums, but when you talk about things you "went through", when others talk about "hard work" and how EATs used to be "meaningful", I think you're forgetting the one important thing is is all about.
Fun. Playing the game is all about having fun and if you're using terms I put in quotation marks, I start doubting you had any. Giving away EATs more easily is so people can have fun more easily. If you honestly fail to see that, well, then that's just sad. -

* New badges, new missions and new player emotes:
new badges: plz plz plz no more defeat 5000 times badges other than that im good
new missions: always a + for me as long as it is not 1 mission and that it. (ie chimeria comes to mind or SS both witch have some missions but not a lot) still looking forward too it

im not sure what the problems is, yes i personal think that they have overused snaptooth but that ok while the new players get to play with snaptooth.
until beta/live/issue 17? etc i will be very happy watching lost playing ddo/ME2 so new people and people who like it it is all yours enjoy.
for those who are tired of it yes i agree snaptooth is old in the tooth (get it old in the tooth i kill me oh nm). plz notice the exit doors all around you some go to the tv show lost others go to games like ME2 enjoy. -

Did not a player already say that Matt/positron say that going rogue will be the last time we hear about incarnates?
if that statement is true (not saying either way just that like looking for a needle in a hay stack) then does that mean
1) they sack incarnates
2) that is the end game (if so that sort of makes sense saying that it not a AT but a origin which would kind of go with the survey they did and the universal slotting)
while that might make sense we will just have to wait and see because that just dreaming for now. -
