We can defend the White House from Crazed Canadians in I13 when we go back to the War of 1812.

TV's Heroes went to colonial Japan.
[/ QUOTE ]
No, they went back to the 1600's. Japan wouldn't started colonizing anyone yet for over 200 years.
The Opening of Japan didn't happen until the mid-1800's and that wasn't colonization. Japan was the only Asian country not colonized by the West.
There is no such thing as Colonial Japan... -
Well 1-20 will be a snap farming clockwork.

The same can be said with moving Illusions to Masterminds as a Primary powerset.
[/ QUOTE ]
Can I just say, please, please just give Illusion to Dominators... Please? I don't care if MMs get it too, that would actually be pretty rad, BUT I really want to play it on a Dom.
Illusion powers in comic books are something that can work very differently depending on who is wielding them. It would be cool to have 2 different Illusion sets that work so differently between ATs. One are old favourite Illusion Control, an Two, our new favourite, Illusion for Masterminds, which would have controllable pets and hopefully some nifty Psi attacks. -
So, does this mean you're doing the same thing to the Hollows and Striga? Being forced to go there is just as not fun as being forced into any other zone you have no interest in going to. If we now have a real choice about entering Warburg can we please have the same consideration for the Hollows and Striga?

I make a lot of alts. I am an altoholic. I make a new one almost everyday, many more than that with CoV now. In CoH you have 12 different choices on how the start the game. 12 contacts divided into 7 origins and 2 zones. If I'm Magic origin and I don't like Azuria I'll go to Galaxy City. I hate fighting Vahz at level 1-5 so I never take Science.
In CoV everyone starts off the same way. Not only do we have one zone. We only have one contact, who sends everyone to the same next contact. Mercy is big enough for more than one starting point, or at least more than one low level contact. It is really boring to roll alts and have them all have the exact same stuff from 1-5 (longer if I do Mongoose). At least I can skip Mongoose and go straight to Port Oakes if I want to. I'm not asking for 12 contacts each with extremely different mission content, the ones in CoH all give out similar missions, just the chance to do things other than eliminate the infected in the same water treatment place and capture Operative Burch every time. -
I definitely ran TFs before I3 and there were always set. The only one I know of that isn't is the Respec trial. I heard a rumor that another random one set to group level too, but it must be one I haven't done.

Who was playing Sister Psyche? And am I the only one who thought it was cool that War Witch was there?
-
Well, Recluse being the Incarnate of Hera might explain the sister comment (ooh he's jealous!!) but then he'd probably be Lord Peacock or something (wasn't that one of Hera's symbols?).
-
I think that Recluse's hatred of Statesman has nothing to do with the Gods inside them, but is personal between the two. Then they both got these powers from the same source and that just excaberated the situation. In my opinion the most "evil" of the Greek Gods was Ares the God of War. Mostly though because out of all the Gods he was the biggest [censored]. And what better God to be the Incarnate of if you want to take over the world, than the God of War. The only Hades connection we've seen is Fort Hades, and I think it's just named that because of the ghosts that hang out there.
I agree with the Statesman having been in a relationship with Monica thing, that could certainly help fuel Recluse's hatred of him if he mistreated (matter of perspective of course) her. However, if she's still alive, she'd be really old. I think she is either A) dead, and Recluse is actually Hades and therefore has access to the souls of the dead (Ghost Widow got brought back, sort of). B) Monica is also some kind of Incarnate working for Recluse. C) Half alive/ dead, in a suspended state/altered state, somewhere on the Rogue Isles protected by Recluse. -

so cool. And to make everyone happy you could even have the judeo-christian pantheon be like... the archangels or something.
[/ QUOTE ]
The angels, all of them are not gods, but servants of God. But he is a pantheon in and of himself. Jesus and the Holy Ghost are also parts of God, leading some people to point out that Christianity isn't really monotheistic because they technically worship three different beings. This argument is usually countered by saying that they are three sides of the same thing.
As for the Jewish god Christian god argument, they are supposed to be the same god, but if you read both new and old testament they sound like two completely different deities. -

So, do we believe him or not? Maybe it's just a name. I mean, if Statesman acted like his name, he'd converse in cryptic doublespeak never revealing... too much of his plans...
Damn it!

I remember one of the people who reported back from Wondercon (it may have been Pax, but I'm not sure) specifically mentioned pandas as well as kittens as shoulder options for females. We have at least those two animal options, maybe there will be more. I can't wait to see how they'll turn out. -
Does anyone have a link or anything from the IGN preview? I haven't seen it.
I think the second Epic AT will be something new. Nictus as playable characters won't be until COV, when we can play villains. I think since they are giving us a second EAT that it will be unlocked some other way than by being lvl 50. That way the higher level people have something to look forward to besides Epic Power Pools, and everyone else has hope they'll get to play an EAT without selling your soul.
