I'm currently thorughly enjoying playing as a Psi/Kin Defender, and am about to hit Level 10. I'm wondering if there are any powers which should be avoided at all costs in either set, and which ones in /Psi and Pool Powers are desirable?

Currently have:
-Transfusion
-Siphon Power
-Siphon Speed
-Increase Density

+Mental Blast
+Subdue

...and alliterate as much as possible.

As the ladies have now had a number of days and evenings out, I propose a guys-only night out. The obvious place would be at PDP, however, as some people are not-too-fond of the place, any other venues can be suggested.

Oh, and don't expect Max to organise it IC, not the sort of thing he'd do really.

We really need a lad's night out, except all the guys at GG are too moody or don't like going anywhere but the statue.

Apologies for hijacking the thread slightly, but as a Kin/Psi, would a similar build to The Spad's be suitable, swapping the corresponding Psi powers for the Electric ones?

Okies, you got there before me, I just sent a PM to Finn explaining the situation, and then read the thread. The reason I hadn't sent one this morning was because I'd set up the "new" SG, and realised I was running late for college, so didn't have the time.

Okay, the new Supergroup, "Liberty Squadron" has been set up, and so invites will be available from this afternoon once I get back from college.

And this time, all ranks have invite powers.

As of this moment 6TH MARCH, we're facing a few problems with recruitment due to Ironclad moving house, and a mix up of ranks emans people currently do not have invitation-powers.

As soon as this is rectified, I'll let you know.

I personally only started purple-prosing with a character I created yesterday, and that's because I've based his personality on Hank McCoy/Beast from X-Men. Whic involves me trying to think of how to add the longest words possible to a sentence, even if they don't *quite* fit.

I'd be up for this, give me a bit to think of a concept and stuff though.

I'll be wearing the hat, don't worry, and seeing as Quilla's sleeping in my room, I'm likely to see her before the Expo anyways, with our without the tail.

Brief History: Galaxy Girl started after Prize invited a number of heroes on a RP raid on Striga Isle back in the early days, and chose GG as the meeting point before heading out.

After this, it was generally consented that GG would become a meeting place for heroes to do similar things, and evolved from there

On the topic at hand: Yes, GG has changed, I was guilty of doing the rush to 50 in August-October (even if I never made it) and some people are going to want to do that final push at one point or another.

Over the past month or so, I've had some of my most 'entertaining' RP talks with the newcomers, but of course I still enjoy the odd chat I get in with the 'older crowd'

As for Pocket D etc. I generally avoid it, I did give in at the last night-out-thing, but I'm not going to make it a regular occurance, it's Max's job to be at the statue, not trying to get laid.

And yes, some characters are aloof and dismissive, I know, I play one of the biggest aloof-ers. And that's Max's character, he is a jerk, which unfortunately means if he's the first person someone talks to, then the wrong impression may be made of everyone else.

But without trying to sound like a jerk myself, I'm not going to change who he is just so people have a friendly introduction, it's just contradictory to him.

In summary, as far as I can see, this is just another phase in GG's history. It's happened before, and will undoubtedly happen again.

I have a horrible feeling none of that made sense.

Okay, I left the hosue for a St John meeting at about 6.30, so I missed this post and hence turned up at GG as normal.

Seeing as Max is in an on-again, off-again thing with this case, would it be possible for him to turn up at the investigation after he finished GG at 11pm?

If not, then no worries.
