Being a D0ucheb4g with a piss poor attitude and self inflated ego is more detrimental to a team the play style...

That is a terrible build. You skipped EF and EMPulse? You dont get a 2nd attack until lvl 22? With all those toggles pre-stamina, you END is going to drain FAST
This should help. This is more of a userfriendly leveling Build.

A lot of things can be adjusted to fit your needs. And your playstyle can vary a lot with these two power combos.
If you plan to use Short Circuit a lot, then Choking Cloud will help greatly with DMG mitagation.
With Radiation you always want: RI, EF, LR and AM
EMPulse is just to Awesome to NOT have...a MAG 3 Hold with 44 seconds of hold time (may vary on slotting and use of PBU)
You should take BOTH EF and Assault. Elec isnt the best DMG output set for Defenders you'll need the boost. Combined 48.8% DMG increase.
That increase is for everyone on the team! Thats almost 400% overall dmg :O
Everything is flexible with these two powers depending on if you want to be in the action (SC+CC) or ranged (BL+LR). -
You think Force Bubble is fun? Next time try using Detention Field and see what the team thinks about it
I once used DF on a Freak Tank that got away from the herd and started to take out our blasters. So I DF it. Figuring we could take out the herd first, then focus on the Boss.Big mistake, people got REALLY PISSY, REALLY FAST. Nevermind the fact that the Freak Tank just took out 2 blasters.
I dont have an issue with being asked/suggested to use a power a certain way.
Its when I get the reaction of "OMG WTF ARE U DOING?!?!" or "DONT PUCKING USE KB!" that I start to fill up my ignore list.
I have used Force Bubble many times. Sometimes it worked out as planned and other times, it has gone horribly wrong. Hell, one time I even forgot it was on as we entered the boss room..chaos shortly followed. lol But if I screwed the pooch, I was always the first to admit it.
And any time Turbo_Ski and Philotic Knight are in a thread at the same time...it usually ends up in some type of FF Sux or FF is Awesome Debate. I know these two represent opposite ends of the spectrum when it come to the FF power set. I still think they are evil twins separated at birth. Either way, it makes for good reading
This story reminds me of a lot of the storm defenders thinking GALE is an attack.. lol -

Now to Claw or Brawl.....
How do you think claws will hold up dmg wise? The set seems to be on the low side of the dmg spectrum. But on a brute with fury, i dont know what to think.
I know claws are a great 'bear weapon' but im not sure if it feels powerful like I picture a bear would be. -

Dan Simmons just wrote a great book about an Inuit Polar Werebear... The Terror. It was an awesome read!

Ok so when its gets down to it, they are both great 2ndaries for Brutes.
-
The only issue with using Bookshelves and Safes for making 2nd floors is the number count. You will have to use 2-3 times as many Safes and 8x as many bookshelves to create the floor as your would desks. It will have a huge impact on your total number of items in base.
Unless they fixed the 10,000 item limit on bases. -

I'm gonna say Claws/WP Brute for sure. When I think Werebear, I think of a beast which ignores pain, and recovers quickly, fitting WP perfectly. Claws because, frankly, it just fits better than anything else. And Brute because of Fury, if you attack a bear they will only come at you harder...
Nice concept, by the way. Werewolves are overrated!
[/ QUOTE ]
Im using a slightly different spin on it.
The concept is an Eskimo who is a WerePolarbear.
All though Claws seems like a great fit, im not 100% sold on the idea. When i think bears, i think of Power. So im leaning towards SS. Unfortunitly all the Claws in the creator look more like weapons instead of a Natural claw. -

In terms of Survivability, which would be better? Will or Inv?
[/ QUOTE ]
For the 1 to 50 game, willpower without a doubt. However, at 50 and cranked to the gills on setIOs and PurpleIOs, I might have to give the nod to Inv.
[/ QUOTE ]
True, but if you dumped all that time/money into WILL, wouldnt it also be just as stroong?

I've now got Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, "The Beast in Me", in my head.

Is that song also on the Sopranos sound track? -

Hello everyone. Thank you taking the time to read this.
Im having a little bit of trouble putting together a character concept for my next Hero/Villain. I plan on making them a Werebear.
Now with that in mind I cant decide between Brute/Tank.
And to even go one step further. Will Power vs Inv or do I wait for Claws on brutes?
I guess what im asking is, if given this concept, how would you roll?
[/ QUOTE ]
I associate were-creatures with horror films, so I say roll a Brute. As for power sets, I always remember the were-creatures shrugging off bullet wounds and they kept going. That sounds like Willpower to me. SS or claws will work to flush out the character.
Main thing is to roll something you will enjoy playing.
[/ QUOTE ]
Wouldnt this also classify as Inv? -
