Irregardless of some things that have gone on these forums in the past, I have always found us to be a little less hyperactive than our american cousins. However, I am shocked to see a lot of people who, in the past have seemed level headed, react in such a manner. Guys there has been no confirmation that any and all PL'd toons will be axed/burnt/spanked etc etc... all we know for now is that they have sat up and taken note.

Now no - one person is to blame, in effect we all are, I for one am not a farmer, ( never could wear the wellies ) but on occaision ive joined a team that did so, got bored and left. Does that make me worried? no...should 90% of the player base be worried? no, if all you have done since i14 is sit in MA and gone from one lvl 50 to the next?...maybe.

Still we have had no sign of what is to happen, as mechano stated its more likely to be a slap on the wrist for some, the post is stated in the manner it is to give us "kids" a heads up that this is to go on no longer.

When it comes down to it, we all play this game for our own ends, most of you guys who have posted here are intelligent chaps, you must have known this would happen one way or another. I just dont see what is so wrong in taking this warning on the chin and carrying on the game as we had before all this debacle. Yes there will be farming, but I personally see a small section in PI running DEV made mishes over again to be not as harmful as having a set of mishes that can get a new player to max lvl in a day while missing the content out there, all set up in the intro zone.

Aaaanyhoo my point is this is in effect now, its happened, and from the looks of the statement only those who reeeeeeally took the michael with MA will be looked at, the rest of you should be fine. Besides MA isnt the whole game, we did fine before it, why not use it as it was intended, for the venting of our creativity to tell a story, not our ingenuity to get around it.

All i can say is im not surprised, yes there may have been some new players who "may2 have got involved in the "wrong" crowd but if this, however harsh, sorts out certain issues that have become prevelant recently, then I for one support this move, if you know there is nothing you have done to get yourself on any of these lists of exploiters then there is nothing to worry about.

Simply put they will never get rid of farming but at least this is some form of ackowledgement to the fact that it shouldnt be the "only" way to play.

Theres a few of us in Ouro, Positron has been through a couple of times but very fleeting

Well we held a meeting with the SG at the weekend and we all agreed that if they (the devs) came up with the promises they have been making then we would still maybe check out the competition, but still keep our accounts live to carry on in the game we love.

However as FFM duly noted ( and that confirms it, a staunch supporter such as he ) they have had the ball for a long time, and if the address tonight has nothing more to add, then they have fumbled it...big time.

The Art of War was started long before I rejoined the game, its been around since launch - but the core players who have 50+ months across the boards have all agreed that there is not much holding this game together other than some hastily added cellotape and stickers saying *soon*

I sit here in hope that a game ive enjoyed for a long time gets the extension to its life it truly deserves, and not some ham fisted blue peter add ons.

Time will tell I suppose, ill be watching this space.

The SF/TF seems a good idea linking the two together storywise and besides, new content is always welcome.

Tested this intensively and it seems shield active removes the emote, or at least the animation doesnt work, runs everytime when shield is not running, dont know if this is intentional or not what with shield suppressing other emotes.

least you can all get on the bloody site lol, since yesterday ive been staring at a blank page with "waiting for static.plaync.com" cant even buy the damn thing if i cant view the site........all i got from support *which ironically IS the only section of the website i CAN view* was "clear your cache on IE" great when i blatantly told them i had done that on the original petition and that i use firefox........

As stated there was an announcement in-game but I can see your point regarding forum notices but if its like the valkyrie pack then it shouldnt take too long chaps.

Servers were taken down earlier for maintenance, most likely for the switch on for the i14 booster pack, fear not they should be back up ..................

Checking through pingplotter and it states "destination unreachable" at hop 16, then tried dns tools to ping the host and check port and stated connection timed out and the ping reported site down? all this while on the phone to eros who is checking the site as we speak.

Right now my eagerness for the update is out of the window replaced by concern over my inability to access my master account.

Still unable to access my master account, all pages relating to plaync eu or us show "read.static.plaync.com" or "waiting for static.plaync.com" this is becoming highly frustrating, cant even access support to send details.

Tried internet explorer too, normally run on firefox, IE isnt getting the static line but its just flat out not loading ncsofts pages, any other site works fine on both.....frustration rising lol

Nope static again, all ncsoft sites are and have been for me, cant even access my account page....*frustration*

Anyone else having trouble seeing or accessing their plaync account page or even getting on to any plaync website, ive got no interwebz issues and any other page loads fine but when attempting plaync im getting "waiting for static.plaync.com", been like this for days, am i missing something obvious? :P
