  1. If I can remember, I'll post my Fire/Kin/Stone farming build when I get home from work.

    I think he's got around 90% global rech + the FF +rech proc in fissure and softcapped Smash/Lethal defense. With Earths Embrace, he's also got max HP

    Its not a "cheap" 200M build tho.
  2. I've soloed Kraken, Jurassik, Babbage, and Eochai with this build. Havent had the time to try any AVs or other GMs, but I doubt it would be too difficult.

    I also slot mule tons of stealth pool/cold epic powers to get gamblers/purple sets, and its very impressive to have my nuke come back that quickly, but using the nuke actually lowers my damage rate overall.

    I have my second build slotted for capped ranged def, and 50% smash/lethal resist- plus power surge for OH SH*T moments to bump resists up further, and this build is far more versitile then the maxed rech build.

    Its your call on how to build, but having a 5 gambler/5 purple set max recharge build sitting unused while I use my second build makes me go...hmmmmn, and wonder if it was all really necessary in the first place.

    That said, i keep all my goodies in the +rech build, and use it on big teams for farming massive lewtz when the mood strikes, but its mostly just a showoff build.
    I wouldnt even play blasters if they didn't have the nukes. :P

    I tend to only play my blaster on TFs and most of the time we have a tank or a good scrapper to hold aggro. Thus I dont put much value in needing ranged defense.

    But if I were to play him solo, PvP, ect, defense would most certainly be more a priority.

    There's a lot of jerks out there who think their crap don't stink.

    Its just a stupid game to me. If I'm viewed as a good player...great. If not, I'll still enjoy the game playing with those I enjoy playing with just the same. Matters not to me.

    And since the SB issue has been beat to death on these boards, I'll just say this as a final note regarding my observations while in game and just reading the boards.

    I really get the feeling that a lot of people (including long time vets) would rather take a n00b kin willing to keep the team SBed at all times over a really good kin that doesnt have SB. And that to me is pretty sad.

    "Hey, you wanna join this tf!"

    "Sure, why not"

    "You got SB?"

    "..."

    Not really sure if it's fair to judge a player based on powers he does or doesnt have that help you!

    You either know the player is good and his toon will help the team, or you're looking for specific powers in certain builds.

    Just a thought here...nothing more. Using a fire blaster as an example....

    Wouldnt a fire blaster w/o a power like fire breath be doing its team an injustice just like say a kin w/o SB? He could be doing more dmg with it, no? I personally think every "team" concept fire blaster should have fire breath, yet I see LOTs of them without it.

    Why don't they catch the same **** kins w/o SB or emps w/o CM do?

    If you ask me, its simple. Because both of those powers DIRECTLY help other team members toons. Its an entitlement issue. If you have a kin on the team, people believe they're entitled to SB and ID. If they have an emp on the team, they're entitled to CM and Fort. If those powers are missing, you're no longer a "team" player and there's cause to look down on the player or build.

    Same goes for taunt on a tank. I think I could skip taunt on my Ice/SS tank. But if I were to respec out of it, there would be some idiot say "Oh God, a tank without taunt" and probably want to boot me from the team.

    In the end, the player makes the toon. Its as simple as that.

    Just FYI for those trying to get max rech like myself on a toon like this...

    You could take Stealth at 28 and then Invisibility at 30. With a LoTG proc in that, it would boost you all the way to 127.5% (197.5% with hasten).

    That's a 90 second recharge on inferno.

    From my experience, the best drop rates have come while solo farming (0/8 settings). When I run 2 accounts or have the difficulty higher than 0, the drop rates go WAY down.

    I agree 100% that SB would help anyone and any team. Thats pretty obvious.

    What I dont always agree with is players thinking they're entitled to certain buffs because their own build is lacking in certain areas.

    If you're a build that has no mez protection, you dont run into a mob, die, then ***** about not having CM.

    When I get home from work, I'll post my Fire/EM build.

    I built him for +rech and he'll have 190% when complete with hasten. Since I dont PvP much, I dont worry about defense. I like playing my blasters from range so I dont need to worry about drawing too much aggro. I have hibernoob to save me with around a 30 second downtime.

    I'm also a huge fan of inferno so I want that up as often as possible!

    The build is fairly expensive....having 5 purple sets.

    1. I spoke about my Demon farm...which is blue side. I really don't care about whats farmable red side. If you farm nemesis red side....great, have at it. I'll still stick to the fact I THINK nemesis farms suck.

    2. Do 52s drop purples faster than 50? If not, then its pointless to farm anything higher than 50s IMO regardless if you're able to drop them just as fast. (Yes, I know I could farm my farms at -1 to give 49s....and I do at times). I farm for purple recipes....nothing else. Anything I get outside of purples is just extra.

    3. I have many toons I farm with and not just my fire/kin. My sig doesnt include all my current 50s.

    I would call any nemesis farm crappy....but that's just me.

    Glad you notice the drop rates differ at certain difficulty settings tho. If you're farming anything higher than lvl 50s, I would question your knowledge of farming mechanics....especially solo. :P

    I get massive amounts of recipe drops on my demon farm...which is why I need to continue farming the AE for tickets/orange salvage.
