  3. I am not Hillary Clinton and I approve of this message.

Srsly, I do appreciate the weekly community video chats It reminds us that you are all, indeed, human.

I remember in 1994 (or so,) the first time I logged into Dreamscape and asking the tech support that came to help me if they were human or machine.

From your point of a view it may be a "Weimarian" wreck, but I haven't seen any hard data or references stating it is

The market is fine - it's a free market. It's volatile. It fluctuates. It can't be predicated. The resources are infinite and are only limited by how many are being sold and how much is in demand. I used to have to pay 750k for every Luckcharm I wanted buy - now I see them hovering at 250k (last I checked.) That would be deflation.

The Devs don't need to do a single darn thing with the market. People should consider lowballing their bids since someone and waiting for someone to put an item for auction in that range. Patience is a virtue.

I've finally broke a billion inf on my toon by selling IO recipes to Quartermasters and landing a lucky uber rare purple - is the market broke? No. Will inf farmers somehow destroy the economy in game? Don't see how, since the most you can have in pocket (not counting GloMail) is 2 billion (if I recall correctly.)
  5. Added the MoKIR badges as listed by Snow Globe.
  6. Money isn't too hard to come by in CoH - in fact, it's quite easy - I don't see "inf" farming being an issue.

I make most of my money selling Invention Origin recipes to vendors :-P 24 IO recipes? Selling to a vendor 100K each? Do the math.

Like with all the iTrials - once everyone is onboard and knows what to do it will go swimmingly.

But it really does require everyone to work together, be on point, and not go running off and do their own thing and try to be a hero to "save the league some time."
  8. Thanks Zombie Man! Added your changes (With the exception of the 10% AM health - waiting on a full list of the MoKIR.)
  9. Keyes Island Reactor Trial

Important Things To Know & Useful Macros
    • DO. NOT. ATTACK. ANTI-MATTER. UNTIL. THE. FINAL. PHASE. PERIOD.
    • Attacking Anti-Matter and damaging him only increases the amount of damage of the pulses.
    • Be careful of AoE damage when Anti-Matter is around as well as pet agro and damage procs in auras and debuffs.
    • If you have AoE Heals or Regen buffs... use them. The damage pulse does more damage than most characters ordinarily regenerate. The Destiny
    • Incarnate Rebirth powers are very helpful to have for this trial.
    • Each reactor requires 18 power cells in total to be used on the 6 terminals.
    • /macro DIS b HELP! I'M BEING DISINTEGRATED, Y'ALL!$$em whistle
    • /macro Cells "targetcustomnear terminal$$powexecname power cell"

    Phase One: Defeat 30 Warworks!
    • There is a cutscene with Anti-Matter.
    • Do as instructed! It's simple! Clear the mobs!
    • This phase is not timed. Savor that.

    Phase Two: First Reactor
In order to shut down this reactor Power Cells must be gathered from the glowing boxes on the ground. It will take 3 Power Cells to charge one terminal, so it will take 30 power cells in all. In order to charge the terminals the War Works in front of them need to be eliminated or moved away (i.e. knocked off the side or pulling them away.) While the Power Cell gatherers (if any are designated) are gathering the Power Cells, the rest of the league/teams should focus on clearing all of the War Works on the Reactor. During this phase Anti-Matter will show up to 1.5 shot you. It helps to have a tank to keep aggro on AM.
    • This phase is timed at 20 minutes
    • Every 30 seconds there will be an Anti-Matter pulse that will damage you for about 50 - 60% of your total health.
    • It helps to designate an entire team or a small group of players to focus on gathering PCells while the rest of the league works to clear the reactor.
    • Do not attack Anti-Matter!

    Phase Three: Second Reactor
In this phase we will have to defeat the EB Goliath Warwalkers to get the Power Cells. Each EB Warwalker that is defeated will randomly disperse three Power Cells throughout the League (15 Warwalkers will need to be defeated to get the sufficient amount of Power Cells.) People should keep an open spot on their trays for these or keep an eye on their Temp Powers Tray in their Powers Window for them. In this Phase, Anti-Matter needs to be brought to each terminal so his RFID can override the security system on the terminals and they can be charged with 3 power cells each.
    • This phase is timed at 20 minutes
    • You will need to defeat 15 EB Warwalkers. Focus on defeating the Warwalkers - when they die their entire spawn dies with him.
    • Each Warwalker will randomly drop 3 PCells to random players on the league - have everyone keep a few spaces on their trays for these drops (and have them pass them off to a designated player)
    • Terminals can be charged up before AM arrives.
    • Anti-Matter will show up - do not attack him! He needs to be brought to each terminal!
    • Again, we will be assaulted by the Anti-Matter pulse every 30 - 45 seconds.

    Phase Four: Third Reactor
This is the final reactor that needs to be shut down. In order to access the terminals, all the Warworks guarding them need to be defeated (or moved away) and Anti-Matter needs to be present in order to use the 3 Power Cells. The Power Cells are guarded in 3 bunkers (each with three doors,) two in the front by the street and the third in the back by the truck depot. Characters with extreme stealth can slip in through a window in the back and grab the two glowies in the back. Alternatively the front door can be blown off the War Works inside can be dealt with.
    • This phase is timed at 20 minutes.
    • There are three doors to each bunker, so, make life easier by destroying the big garage door to get in and out of the bunkers rather than the tiny door which gets easily blocked.
    • Power Cells & Bunker War Works respawn every minute.
    • Terminals can be powered up before AM arrives.
    • If the league has 3 teams, each team can sit and camp a bunker until the necessary PCells are gathered.
    • After the necessary 30 power cells are gathered, the league should focus on clearing the War Works guarding the terminals and dragging AM to each one in order to the charge them.
    • Before AM arrives, Warworks near the terminals can be cleared and PCells can be used to charge them up.

    Phase Five: DEFEAT ANTI-MATTER!
This final fight will take place at the truck depot, south of the last reactor. It helps to keep Anti-Matter back by the larger bunker, between the two terminal stations. During this fight we will be assaulted by a barrage of attacks. Periodically, as we bring Anti-Matter's health down to certain levels (approximately 75%, 50%, and 25%) he will freeze everything and flee to a nearby terminal station to super heal himself. During these parts we will need to annihilate the four glowing terminals in order to interrupt his regeneration.
    • This phase is timed at 12 minutes.
    • Anti-Matter will use DISINTEGRATION throughout this attack - if he successfully disintegrates a target he will heal himself completely!
    • If you see yourself being DISINTEGRATED use the DIS macro (provided above) to inform your teammates/league you are being disintegrated so they can heal you!
    • The Obliteration Beam drops every 40 seconds or so. You will see it as a giant green target on the ground. When you see it, RUN!
    • ENTANGLEMENT- you will either have a blue or red aura. Being near someone of the opposite colored aura of you will DAMAGE you. Keep an eye on your aura.
    • If you are near Anti-Matter and you are not moving, Systemic Decay will damage you. Move.

    Additional
    Master of Keyes Badge Info:
    • Anti-AntiMatter Currently: Complete the Keyes Island Reactor Incarnate Trial after having brought Anti-Matter below 10% of his health while attempting to take control of Reactor Hope, the western-most reactor.
    • Bunker Buster Currently: During the Keyes Island Reactor Incarnate Trial, bust down all three doors on a bunker within three seconds, and then repeat for all bunkers found near Reactor Infinity.
    • Loves a Challenge Currently: Complete the Keyes Island Reactor Incarnate Trial without having anyone die or destroy any terminals in the final battle versus Anti-Matter.
    • Avoids the Green Stuff Currently: Don't let anyone be caught by a Obliteration Beam in the final battle with Anti-Matter during the Keyes Island Reactor Incarnate Trial.

BTW, we'll be skipping the cut scene soon. If everyone on the trial has seen it already (i.e. run the trial at least once) it will auto-skip the cut scene.
It won't auto-skip, but you'll have the option to skip it.

  16. Ahhhh! They won't be Trial players! They'll be Free!

I don't think Free players should have the tell option (or broadcast.) They should be able to receive but not send - which is extremely limiting in terms of communicating with others players.

Or perhaps a quota of tells they can send each day? (10? 20?)
  17. 1. Three character slots per server. (I think four might still be a little nicer - to get free players a little more variety.)
    2. No level limit. (Agreed)
    3. No time limit. (Agreed)
    4. Can't gain merits. (Hadn't thought of that, agreed)
    5. Can't enter AE missions. (Absolutely)
    6. Can't slot IO's or incarnate powers. (Agreed - Incarnate powers shouldn't even be available to free players.)
    7. Can't join incarnate trials. (I feel that free players shouldn't have access to the Incarnate System at all.)
    8. Can only send tells/mail to SG mates or to someone that sent you a tell recently. (Hmmm, understandable.)

  20. Heaven forbid we get content that is actually challenging and forces players to actually work together.

This past week I decided to start playing two different F2P's, to see how baaaaaaaaad it really is.

    You know what?

So far on both I've experienced extremely helpful, social, active communities. Sure, there might be an annoying person here and there - but - *gasp* - guess what - we have those sort of people on CoH already!!!
  22. From the guide:

Defeating Anti-Matter while you are still trying to lock down any reactor leads to utter annihilation and failure of the Incarnate Trial.

So, we have an AV who will be pounding us that we can't attack/fight until the end? I see a lot of nerdrage coming
  23. The Ascension Costume pieces look awesome and those path auras too!

I think we're going to be seeing a lot of rainbows flying by.
