Quote:Figured they'd put a cap inEmails can be sent to local as well as global names now.
Emails with attachments can only be sent to a Global name.
Valid attachments are Enhancements, Salvage, Recipes and Inspirations if they are tradeable (buyable on AH). One per email. Inf can be sent alongside item.
There will be 20 mail cap to inbox. Mails sent to full mailbox will bounce (bounced mails can exceed cap). If you are at the cap you cannot send mails.
Items with attachments cannot be deleted until attachment is claimed. They can be returned to sender. Was hoping it'd be higher. Really wanna play with it! (take that however you want)

Outsiders are gonna start thinking everyone is against me........
But I know better! Yes I do! *huggles self and rocks* -
Since you didn't even understand what the primary purpose of your secondary is, I'll let you fantasize why it still worked out, regardless of not playing the AI like a chump.
-
Quote:Between you and Toril, it was like you came along JUST to grief meGood time all around.
I was definitely rusty on the tank for the ITF as well as being unprepared at some points.Should have stuck with the corruptor.
Still not sure why you insisted on having Rommy run all over the place and finally letting him settle down in that particular spot....
-
So any volunteers to drag lil ole me through this? Would have to be later at night though.
Also, depending on times, would gladly run it a couple of times on a different character for the other categories. -
Thanks for the runs.....
I mean TFs! No idea how we got past Rommy with all the, ya know, not doing the plan and his running and stuff. And someone said we needed a debuffer/e flex
Smidge less than an hour for Khan. Mental died a bunch.
Smidge over an hour for ITF? Mental died bunches. Only buff/debuff came from my overpowered Huntswoman. And had over half the Cyst ambushes spawn right on top of us. Was glorious. -
2 cents about the Story arcs....
IT'S EIGHT WHOPPING MISSIONS.
Doesn't matter where they put it, it's nothing but flavor text IMO. -
Quote:Seth Myers does a much better job at this than you.
Seriously devs?
Seriously? -
Wanted to break this down some.
Quote:I honestly don't get this. Unless it's going to play some major role in something useful/important to the game......*shrug*Epic Archetypes Unlocked at Level 20
Previously, you had to have at least one character at level 50 to make an epic archetype character. No more! Now you can create an epic archetype character as long as you have any one character at level 20 or higher.
Quote:New Story Arcs: Issue 17: Dark Mirror features two new Hero and two new Villain story arcs for levels 20-30. Each of these story arcs has four missions, and the story arcs highlight the Dark Mirror's sinister new enemy. Acquire first Hero story arc in Talos Island, and the first Villain arc in Sharkhead Isle.
Quote:Positron Task Force Update: This Task Force has been split into two halves and dramatically upgraded and updated to ramp up the fun. The final battle of the Task Force takes place in the Faultline Dam and incorporates the new Dark Mirror enemy.
Quote:New Badges: Along with adding badges for 500 Badges Earned, 750 Badges Earned, and 1,000 Badges Earned, we are adding new exploration badges to city zones, almost doubling the number of exploration badges. You can learn new Accolades for finding all of the exploration badges in each city zone. while I /e cutsself, muttering under my breath.
Quote:Show Last Objective: This UI improvement lets you find your last objective on a mission map, making it easier to find something you've missed.
Quote:Auction House: The UI gives you new options for sorting search results, your Auction House inventory is now separated by clearly marked tabs based on the item's status, the Auction House text entry box now autocompletes, and a single click on a recipe displays all salvage needed for that recipe.
Quote:In-Game E-mail: You can now use in-game e-mails to send Influence/Infamy to your own characters or to other players' characters via in-game e-mails. (You still cannot send Influence, Infamy, or items from a Hero to a Villain or vice versa.)
Almost does away with the need for personal SGs, at least for beginners and/or those not already vested in one. Thumbs up!
Haven't been glad about an upcoming issue in a long time, so this seems nice so far. -

Quote:Oh, i know what Therm has and can do. The edits were for my own personal amusementThermal does have its own tricks:
Melt Armor
Heat Exhaustion
I don't know the numbers off hand, but I have a /therm corr and assuming the same between controller and corruptor. So along with the storm and rad, therm would have been contributing if Mental took and use these powers. (I don't know his build and can't remember from the Tuesday group - God I am getting old...) -
Looking through old PMs, I'm inclined to say I was on the "yellow tower" fence.
Curious how an all-Warshade run would go.I know I wasn't exactly helping my team much the other week against her
edit: The problem my team ran into was apparently due to the *extra* resistance she has to energy/neg energy. We had a warshade, Rad blaster, dark melee scrapper and electric tanker; the other damage came from a Fire scrapper with Rad and Storm Debuffs going. I believe we were only running with 7.....I didn't factor in the extra resistance to our primary damages and didn't think an 8th was necessary.
Edit again: Before Mental gets in a tizzy....he was the 8th but as a Therm troller. No telling what he was doing.....if anything. Not gonna stop me from leaving up my previous assessment though

Epic pwned?
Sup Major, long time no see. Though hearing about your DCing isn't exactly earth shattering...
(totally staying out of the thread topic. Last time I chimed in about a repeatable bug about the STF, 50+ people crawled down my throat advocating for my tar and feathering. Though I will say that being the *only* debuff on a team as an Earth/Rad, the entire AV beat down was more than possible before.) -
Just a heads up I will be forming for a Khan TF @ 830PM EST. Guesstimate 60ish minutes baring any usual server shenanigans. I feel like bringing out a troller.
Directly after wards I will be forming for the ITF. Guesstimate around 90min.
Post if interested, otherwise will be using Globals to fill. -
Quote:That's unfortunate to hear.I think the major problem is that a large portion of the Freedom forum crowd is part of the "Freedom Horde", which typically runs TFs/SFs every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and either (late late) Friday or Saturday night. Usually that means Tuesdays and Sundays are the only guaranteed nights off, for which those of use with significant others choose (or are required) to spend time with.
I might just post to post then, but a PuG lifestyle might be just what I needed anyway.
Thanks for the info. -
I'm so excited! I hope I don't come too soon.
Ya know, and have to wait around. Impatient-like. I hate waiting. -
Quote:I probably won't go into that much detail. I run with the expectation that forum users are more informed already, or at least know how to easily access the information. If I post for another, I'll tweak it a bit. With the size of the server population, I wouldn't think the time would be a major factor. I'll keep that in mind for next time. One thing i would suggest is to post if its redside or blueside an amount of time it normal takes
It also helps to mention number of merrits or badges as well.
As for estimated time, I've learned my lesson long ago. Forum teams, usually better balanced, run 30 to 50% faster than a good PuG. Other than Doc Q, none of the TFs on either side will take more than 2.5 hours, with the majority much much faster; again, with a forum team. This has been my experience. Whatever the case, the game makes it a priority to make sure I'm completely wrong if I even whisper a time frame
Was able to get a team in about 5 min from global and broadcast, having to turn away quite a few as well. The TF just took longer than it should have because it was a fairly odd mix, but we managed through it and everyone stayed in good spirits. Was a pretty decent PuG experience.
Not sure if it was isolated to just last night or not, but I think everyone crashed or at least DC'd at least once. Hadn't seen that in awhile. -

Quote:I'll quote that, because it's funny how things get passed along. It's like a goofy version of the game "telephone".Hmmmm? What ban?
You quit and then got all emo that people weren't begging you to come back.
My side: I asked twice during your last run , and you blew it off to the sentiment of "don't bother". I asked just now, and am given this for a response. Can't say I didn't try. I'm sorry my initial leaving left such a distaste for you. As usual, the reasons for actions never really matter to people who don't pay attention. Now if Mental would just stop "ing" at me.
I hope the next run is even better than your last. -

Quote:Not sure....seems a tad bit shameful. I'd chalk it up to envy personally. Why is everyone talking about me in this thread like I ride the short bus?
Quote:I'm shocked that people have problems with MITF or MKahn though. Any master run really can be a cakewalk if you have at least 2 good buffers who are paying attention. -
No more interest? Or just not a good time for forum people on this server?
