Sure, but I submitted two different entries, 1 each of a different difficulty setting. If in the alternative reality that both entries were "the best" for their categories and only one person hadn't changed characters, only one of the entries could have been valid (judges pick?)?

Has no bearing on any judgements either way, was just curious. Might just be me who didn't think it was clear also *shrug*.

I think KT was bored switching to the blaster and would have preferred to stay on the only character he really has for the 2nd run

I do have a rule question since it came up during our second attempt. KT switched anyway, but I wasn't sure if he, or the team, wouldn't be eligible for any kind of prize if he hadn't changed characters for the second run (we all had anyway), even though we were using a different difficulty setting. (Yes, I hold the record for run-on sentences that are valid!)

The rule wasn't specifically clear IMO and I'm not sure if I would have switched if it didn't matter.

edit: Not sure of any of the other teams, but we didn't use any temp powers, that I know of, other than Reveal and Team Recall. Either of which wasn't needed, just fun to use Would be interesting to see another setup like this but without temps at all, and maybe toss in the "no inspirations" setting as well. EoEs were damn handy, I gotta say and well worth the price, but it's certainly more than doable without em.

Heads up I'll be looking to run Synapse about 830PM. Will have the overpowered Defender to help stealth when able. Nothing special needed and more than willing to run it with the minimum start up.

Regarding the diff options, it's just a shame there really isn't incentive to use them built in. A higher drop chance would be cool, or more inf maybe. *shrug*

20 deaths was the 2nd highest valid? What did the most have overall? That's sad......We, and I mostly mean most everyone else, fell apart at weird parts. Mostly when split. Hamidon of course proved the most fatal since we were lacking melee to take out the yellows early on.

Anyway, gonna post the times/deaths for the category winners? Our first run really didn't seem all that different than a normal run even with the enemies buffed. Had a good mix of stuff going to rip through everything. I'm not really into full on "speed" runs, but I think I could have cut out about 20 min from our time.

Woot, I won something. On top of the Apoc! And Shamster didn't!!! Best. Night. Ever!

Thanks for the attempts folks. I think I got all the right information sent off. 2nd round started off like a champ at least ...... Even got Pilgrim to stay up past his bed time and tell his wife to shove off!

Was hoping to see more forum activity about this (in general); but I figure the cliques and clacks are more suited for this type of event then semi-open gatherings. Hopefully it generated a good amount of interest overall. And hopefully there is some oversight being used behind the scenes as well >.>

Pure team is pretty limiting, especially if we have to branch out to Globals to fill the team. I'm okay with it, I just don't want to make it harder to get a team going to really even have a chance. I have a feeling most of the people interested in this already have a set team with core people they usually play with, and are able to more easily pick and choose. *shrug* I'm offering up an informal attempt for fun and the challenge.

I have 4 EoEs on the Huntsman, and 6 on the Defender if it matters. They last only 60 seconds. I've honestly never used one, so I don't know what all they protect against overall (ie, just Hami special damage or any Mito damage/effects?). The EoEs are the only things that will provide some actual defense/resistance to Hamidon stuff. The Hamidon mission is generally the only place people can die multiple times, usually because they rez too quickly. Generally don't really need to use inspirations as it is, so will have EoEs on the character to share with who I can.

So far -

Me - Dark Defender or Huntsman
*Pilgrim - Tank
Vanum - Something, thinking Veat
*Shamster - Something, but you don't have anything useful/helpful, so I have no idea I say scrapper
Ohloh - Something, prefer +defense if possible, +res if necessary

Closed testing (I hate that they call those betas) supposed to hit Test on Tuesday. *crosses fingers*

His build now, or before, doesn't really matter if he dings 50 while on a Posi run.....

The chances of him playing the character after 50 is pretty small, if past experience is any indication. I should know; I think I've had a fairly dominate hand in most of his guys as it is Not sure how I got roped into getting a fairly large chunk of his leveling with this cast-off Iso guy though.

Just a heads up I'm gonna try to con some folks into a Posi run tonight. Will be looking for 5 max, unless there is just some uncontrollable urge from 7 others. Will be looking at stealthing whatever possible to cut down the time.

Looking to see if there is interest in a run at the Rikti Global Offense challenge at this time. Willing to set any of the challenges, except for the "extreme". Due to the settings, will be looking for survivability and a good mix of support and damage to help with the time aspect. Please don't use this as a "level my 45" :S

Will use a Dark/Sonic Defender or a Huntsman build VEAT.
